Please help me with the following SAS problem. I need to transform my data set from "original" to "new" as shown in the picture. Because the "priority" variable can not be sorted, it seems that first. and last. variables would not work here, no? The goal is to have each sequence of priorities represent one entry in the "new" dataset.

Seems fairly straightforward to me. Just create a batch ID.
data have_pret;
set have;
by subject;
if first.subject then batchID=0;
if priority=1 then batchID+1;
run;
Then you can transpose by subject/batchID. This assumes priority always starts at 1 - if it starts at > 1 sometimes, you may want to adjust your logic and keep track of prior value of priority.

You can't do this since it doesn't save previous data.
Think of it as a map with phy_asset#!#created_time as key and 2020-03-23 13:29:05.0 as value. It doesn't know the previous values that it saved for this key.
It also cannot be changed by anyone but the processor.
What you can do, in your case at least, is to set Additional WHERE clause to created_time >= '<wanted-minimum_creation_time>' which would only query those with greater creation time than what you've chosen and will achieve the same result as you want.
Don't forget to reset the state though!
I have a dataset like below.

Now the business logic is to find out the last paid date for each of the loans. I tried using a tmap component, it calls a java routine that has a static variable last_paid_dt which would store the transaction date when the daily deposit > 0. However, when the daily deposit is less than 0 the static var would not get changed. This works fine when the amount paid is 0.

When the amount paid is reversed a day or after, the last paid should be from previous non-reversed positive amount. I was not able to get that done.
Also when a new loan id starts processing I need the static variable to get reset which is not currently happening.
If my current methodology is wrong, please help me doing in a better and efficient way. Thanks
Expected output:
First of all you need to use a Map component, with the key being the loanId.
You don't want to overwrite the value. I.e. If the key exists in your map, then do not overwrite it with a new value.
You can use the globalMap if you want, in that case I'd do:
globalMap.get("loan_"+loanId) != null ?
globalMap.put("loand_"+loanId,loanDate) : loanDate
then later:
globalMap.get("loan_"+loanId)
Not elegant, but works. a More elegant would be to define your own map that you put into globalMap and after the process null it out, so you free up the memory. But this all depends on the complexity of your job.
I want to check certain objects against each other and identify if they are the same.
For example, I need to verify that the total cost in one page is the same as another page. I developed a script that works, however the total cost changes every day so I have to update the object properties in maintenance mode every day.
Is there a way that UFT automatically recognizes this object must change and update?
I request you to elaborate your question. For now, you can use .* if certain values of the object are changing. Alternatively, you can store the values in an excel sheet and you can change everyday depending on the requirement.

It sounds like you actually want to compare the values shown in two different objects, and see if those values are the same. (I assume this because you say they are on two different pages)
Also, you mention maintenance mode, so I assume you are using checkpoints to store their expected values.
I would suggest: instead of storing the expected values in a checkpoint, you could read the value of the first object (getROproperty), store it in a variable (dataTable field, environment variable, etc), and then navigate to the other page, read the ROproperty from the other object, and then compare.
i.e.
if {browser,page,object...}.getROproperty({whateverPropertyYouNeed}) = environment({storedFirstValue}) then
reporter.reportevent micPass,"compare step","{details here}"

If you need to actually store the total cost externally, you could use a DataTable field and export the sheets at the end. then import the same sheet at the beginning. That would save the data to an excel sheet on a drive.
I've made the mistake of using the 'Calculate and Replace Column' feature to replace the wrong column, and realized after the fact. The column I replaced corresponds to last names and is important. I would like to retrieve this column but maintain my other 15 or so data transformations. Ideally, I would like to remove this transformation, but I've come up empty so far. Here's what I've tried:
I tried adding the 'last name' column again from the same external source, using >Insert >Columns... I also tried renaming this column to avoid the data transformation. Unfortunately, this resulted in an entirely empty column, so it did not successfully match to the table or was affected by the transformation..
I checked the source information, and found exactly the 3-4 lines that I wish were not there. I thought it might be possible to edit this but haven't found a way. This seems like it would be the easiest.
Another idea I had was I could replace the data table with the same source, and repeat all of the transformations from the replace data table dialogue (excluding the bad one). This is my next plan of attack, but I figured I would come on here to see if there's an easier way first.

It is possible to 'edit' your transformation per Tibco article 44098.
Resolution: If there are more then one transformations on a data table and you need to edit any of those transformation, follow the steps below:
Go To Edit >> Data Table Properties.
Select the desired data table inside which the transformation has been added and click on Refresh Data > With Prompt.
A new window will pop up which will allow you to make the desired changes in each of the transformations.
unfortunately it is NOT possible to reverse data table transformations.
it IS possible to undo the transformations with Edit>>Undo or CTRL+Z, but that's as far as it goes.
my strategy for dealing with this is (in accordance with your #3) to visit Edit>>Data Table Properties, select the table I'm interested in, select Source Information, then copy the contents of the textarea and paste it into notepad. then, I'll File>>Replace Data Table and start over from the beginning while keeping the notepad open so I don't miss any steps.
I realize it's not ideal, but there is unfortunately not another way.
I would like to know if somebody already did the effort to integrate the following into GlazedLists:
I want a separate Comparator for each sort direction of a column. A practical example for something like this is a file browser where the directories are always sorted to the front and only as secondary sorting requirement, I want to sort by the file/directory name. If i have only one Comparator, this is of course not possible.
I also just realized that it might exist also a workaround if I use sorting by multiple columns and the main sorting priority is on the column that says whether some element is a file or directory.
Does anyone have experience with this issue?

Ok, it seems I still did not unleash the full power of GlazedLists when I asked the question. The answer is very simple: I can just add another SortedList that sorts by file types as decorator of my initial SortedList that is sorted based on the table.
