I want to update database and get the updated value from the database. Volley uses cache mechanism. I want to change my code such that when database is updated then the data will be fetched from the database server but when the database is not updated then the data will be fetched from the cache.
In my app the database is updated but the changes is not reflected in my app. When i reinstall the app the changes is reflected in the app. How to handle the cache mechanism of volley to handle the database updates. Please help me....

We recently upgraded the plan on Heroku from free. Post this upgrade, our existing database got deleted and Heroku added a new database for the app.
Now we have lost the existing tables and we haven't took a backup for the same. Due to this our app is not connecting.
Is there a way to restore the previous database(PostgreSQL)so that our data will be back and the app will also connect back.
I am using the Azure web app with PHP 7.3 stack. In my project, we have the feature to sync from mobile to web and for that, we are using the SQLite file. And for other modules, we have a MySQL database.
The mobile app sends the SQLite file and we stored it in the directory. But we try to make a query to the SQLite with PDO then it throws the error that the database is locked.
I tried many solutions from the other's answer but not get success.
This has to do with permissions of the underlying storage mount.
One option you could try is mounting an Azure File share and persisting the database there, see https://learn.microsoft.com/answers/answers/320889/view.html. The best option however is to utilize a cloud database such as Postgres or MySQL for Azure.
I am relatively new to Firebase Database. I initially designed our Xamarin App using SQL as Server database. After analyzing cloud costing, i will have to move on Firebase.
App will have List view with Images, Map Coordinates and other details. Do firebase has any limitation on storing the data ? Whether images are stored in the firebase database? Whether there is a way to view the data in firebase database as similar to working on Management Studio?
I have completed the parse migration completely including the data and files. The clients are also pointing to the standalone parse server.
I have missed to finalize the migration in parse dashboard and now it is showing me the migrate button again. Will this create a problem when parse hosting shuts down? Do I need to migrate the data again and finalize it?
It's fine. You don't need to worry as you can try again but you will first need to clean up your target database as Parse's migration tool will only migrate data to an empty database.
I would like to know if there's a way for ehcache to detect a database update/insert (spring/java, hibernate web application) and refresh its cache with the current(latest) data from the database if not, what would be the best way detect a database update so as to keep the data between and cache and database in sync?
Caching tools (ehcahce , infinispan) provides the solution other way round, i-e, to refresh the cache with DB data in configured interval , for example : every 15 or 30 minutes. Don't use cache, if the data keeps changing continuously...
