I am using Tomcat 7, JDK 7, Eclipse(LUNA). I have no idea about the problem and how to create simple application in Spring MVC. Please solve this problem, and if possible tell me step by step procedure of creating simple Spring MVC Hello World Program. I am fadeup of searching this in google

If you don't want to bother with configuration problems take a look at the Spring Guides and use Spring Boot:

I have a maven project configured by jenkins to deploy as .war file on a tomcat server. my issue is that the deployment is done successfully, but it cannot be run by hitting "reload" button from my tomcat server manager interface. instead, tomcat should be stopped and then started. the main error is derived from .lock file which is an empty file. according to the guide given here https://jackrabbit.apache.org/archive/wiki/JCR/RepositoryLock_115513495.html I killed other web servers and java processes and even restarted my server but all was of no use. error from catalina.out log file is:

my jenkins version is 2.277.1 (implemented by Docker)
tomcat version 7.0.91
maven version 3.6
OS version for tomcat server is SUSE server 12
and Debian 10 for my jenkins CI/CD server
I did the test in a simulated environment just tomcat,maven and jenkins dockerized and there was no error. How can anyone help me?
I am using TomEE 7 and JSF 2.2.
I use ajax in a commandButton and it worked fine. But suddenly (not sure what exactly has changed in the application), it is not working, and the commandButton refreshes the page. Checking the JS console it says:
Uncaught ReferenceError: mojarra is not defined
at HTMLInputElement.onclick
So thanks to this post I discovered that the JSF script was not accessible. So it was loaded in the page:
<head id="j_idt3">
....
<script type="text/javascript" src="/myApp/javax.faces.resource/jsf.js.xhtml?ln=javax.faces&stage=Development"></script>
</head>
But if I try to load the script directly in the browser I get a 500 error, and the logs in TomEE say this a bunch of times:
21-Jun-2017 11:28:48.496 SEVERE [http-nio-8080-exec-2] org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke Servlet.service() for servlet [Faces Servlet] in context with path [/myApp] threw exception [Error processing webservice request] with root cause

So I am now a bit lost on what to try or which direction to go for further research of the problem. Any ideas?
UPDATE
After some testing I have seen that one of my new added dependencies (I am using Maven) seems the responsible for the error. How a dependency can interfere the JSF libraries I don't know. Any suggestion on how I can continue isolating the problem?
Finally, I think I got it. Solution at bnguyen82 answer in this question.
I had to add
<scope>provided</scope>
Inside the dependency in my pom.xml.
I'm using this example: https://github.com/foo4u/keycloak-spring-demo
I have keycloak.json file in my WEB-INF folder, but when I run my application, I get this exception:

This code is just an example of integration between Spring boot and Keycloak.
Can you please tell me what am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your answer and time.
Even though that's a good and valid example, that dates from 2015. I believe it uses Keycloak 1.2.0 which is completely outdated. There are a set of examples with Spring here. Most of them up to date with the latest changes.
I suggest taking a look at these examples and read the docs as well.
If you are using keycloak adapter with spring boot 2 or spring boot 1.5, you have to mentioned below properties in application.properties or application.yaml file
keycloak.auth-server-url=http://localhost:8180/auth
keycloak.realm=abc
keycloak.resource=movie-app
keycloak.public-client=false
keycloak.principal-attribute=preferred_username
If it still gives the error, please post the error, i will share the code :)

What can be wrong with my environment ?
UPDATED
Checked it on another computer - Windows 8, JDK 1.8.0_31
$ java -version
java version "1.8.0_31"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_31-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.31-b07, mixed mode)
works fine.. How to fix this on the previous computer ?
I have update JDK to 1.8.0_40 and now all works properly

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Repository: cannot add mbean for pattern name metrics:name=gauge.response.
I come late, but I ran into the same issue with RESTX, and after further investigation this happens when the URL contains character interpreted as pattern in JMX MBean names (i.e. * and ?). Indeed when the framework (in your case spring boot) adds a metric for this URL, the JMXReporter from Codahale Metrics in turns tries to register an MBean with that name, which fails with that exception (the message is not very helpful).
The source code for the JMX Repository better show the problem.
Possible solutions:
upgrade Metrics to v3.1.0 or greater (name changed from codahale metrics to dropwizard metrics), and register your own ObjectNameFactory fixing this problem. This is the approach I've used in RESTX.
disable the JMXReporter at least for this URL if you can (I haven't checked spring boot to see if you can)
override the metrics filter to escape the characters causing the problem
