Apparently there is something very wrong with my bundler because I always get this error and in rails apps I'm forced to run sudo bundle install or something similar to get it working any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting this when I run a barebones rubocop.

I tried removing either rubocop version but got the same error.
I am trying to find a way to lint chef ruby code, hence the above attempt.
If anyone sees anything in the above errors or has another linter with a smoother
install, please let me know.
Thanks.
Stuart
Version conflicts are typically resolved with bundler. Try bundle exec rubocop.
I'm trying to build and run manageiq from source by following theses instructions:
http://ctl.parkerfleming.com/tutorials/manageiq/install-manageiq-on-ubuntu-14-04-on-the-centurylink-cloud/
When I run the following step:
$ git clone https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq
$ cd manageiq/vmdb
$ bundle install --without qpid
I get this error:
eugene#3b4d8a92ac5d:~/manageiq/vmdb/manageiq/vmdb$ bundle install --without qpid
Unfortunately, a fatal error has occurred. Please see the Bundler troubleshooting documentation at http://bit.ly/bundler-issues. Thanks!

What can I do to overcome this and finish manageiq install?
I just set up Jekyll on my Linux machine and installed (I think) all the necessary dependencies. When I try to run jekyll serve or jekyll build, I get the error displayed below. However, if I run jekyll new "test" to create a new site, it works just fine.
Here is the error message I am receiving (it's the exact same for serve and build):

! Heroku push rejected, failed to compile Ruby app
We have pinpointed the line in Gemfile that causes this to be:
gem 'internal-lib', :git => 'https://username:password#github.com/Projectname/internal-lib'
When bundler installs the gem it looks alright:
Fetching https://username:password#github.com/Projectname/internal-lib
In what ways can a successfully bundled gem cause the "Cleaning up the bundler cache" step to timeout?
We have tried to include the gem in other ways, as a raw copy of the repo in vendor/private and as a git submodule in vendor/private but no success.
It seems like it was a problem with Heroku. Today the deploy worked again, without changes from our side...

I tried to install it like this:
$ gem install ya2yaml --platform=ruby
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::FormatException)
ya2yaml-0.30 has an invalid value for #cert_chain
But i got another error.
Update gem
gem update --system
I guess this should solve your problem
Error when installing "ya2yaml" gem on Windows7, Ruby1.9.2, Rails3
Hope it helps.
