CRM 2016 on-permise sitemap - dynamics-crm

I'd like to know if there is a way to open another webpage in new window just like it was in 4.0 and 2011 from sitemap button. I know that i can call webresource with javascript in it taht will open webpage but in that case after opening webpage in new window it leaves me with empty page as current and because of that it's not an option.
Kind regards,
JD

You'll have to go the web resource route. After it calls window.open, you could then have the original window navigate to the home page. So, after calling window.open, the web resource would do something like this:
parent.window.location.href = "https://yourorg.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx";
Update based on your comment
To have the user taken back to the previous page, do: window.top.history.back()

Dynamics CRM - Custom development

I'm completely new to the Dynamics CRM environment.
Within our current implementation, there is a grid which displays a list of current sales opportunities. Within this grid, there is a column for the user which is a link to another part of Dynamics. We want to instead be able to open a new window to another system. How can I customize how that link gets rendered out so that the client "onclick" function can link to a javascript function which will open a new window with the URL we need?
Please see attached:
Snapshot of Dynamics grid
Im afraid that this is not possible with supported customization.
My understanding is that you will keep URL to external system on entity and you would like to be able to open with single click from grid displaying this record?
However, Im not sure if you add this fields as single line of text with format option URL won`t work as expected. If this does not work, you would need a custom grid to display this data.
You can store url in text field with format URL, click on such field will open link in new window/tab.

How to do ajax loading with URL change but not page redirection?

If you carefully notice facebook, you will understand that the when you visit one page to another then the whole page is not refreshed or redirected but the URL changes when navigating to new page. It is more clear when chat windows are open, they remains static during page loading. As other website does this by using the # but facebook does not.
There is another example came to me: http://www.davidwalsh.name/. Visit the site and open other pages within their site and you will understand what I mean. Don't forget to notice the URL change.
How they do this?
Added More: I want a way that the page content will be loaded with ajax, change the URL for bookmark feature but when changing URL it should not reload / refresh the page by not using # (hash).
You have two questions:
For the URL change you can put the path instead of the # in the href property of the anchor (e.g /otherlink).
For opening the chat or opening some div does not require to send it in the url, its the onclick event on the div and its expands. Also the chat remains open may be thay set cookie or flag when the chat is first time opened and checking and changing the chat with flag they are setting.
As suggested by #andytuba
For Facebook, Google "hash navigation ajax".
For DavidWalsh, google "history API".

Open a existing Account record in parent page in MS CRM 2011

How to open a existing Account record in parent page itself instead of opens in a new popup window.
Pls.
The CRM SDK shows you how to get the URL of a record, given the record ID.
Using JScript, you can set the current page location via window.location (see here) thusly:
window.location = myNewUrl;

Alfresco share page state history

How can I manage page state history in share (surf?) so that I remember for example which yui tab was active and on which page the pager was on?
I noticed that alfresco share does something like that after form submit. You get redirected to the exact same page url where you were before. If any "ajax state" (don't know what they are called) parameters are in url like #something=asdf you get the same url.
But when using manual navigation like moving through site pages those parameters aren't saved.
Is this even a good idea to do? To save page state in session for example?
Some pages have support for URL parameters that are passed in. In those cases the browser history is used, e.g. we editing metadata in the full page meta data view the user is send back to the page he is coming from. This is done in javascript by calling window.history.go(-1) after form submit but only works when parameters are set/retrieved by URL. The document library implements page specific javascript for setting the URL and parsing parameters from it.
I some places Alfresco uses the preference service to store user settings between different pages permanently. For example this is used in the document library for the "show folders" and "simple/thumbnail view" buttons. Here is some sample code from the document library javascript setting a preference option:
var PREFERENCES_DOCLIST = "org.alfresco.share.documentList",
PREF_SHOW_FOLDERS = PREFERENCES_DOCLIST + ".showFolders";
var preferences = new Alfresco.service.Preferences();
this.services.preferences.set(PREF_SHOW_FOLDERS, true);
The evaluation of the properties is usually done in the Share component webscripts, you can have a look in share\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\site-webscripts\org\alfresco\components\documentlibrary\include\documentlist.lib.js for an example.
In any case you have to dig into Alfresco's javascript code in the browser and the share tier to see how to implement it.
You could check parameters sended to the server side after form submiting in the firebug (firefox plugin) and then you could use the same parameters.
Also perhaps you should use yui history manager:

How can I set up login using Fancybox?

I am trying to open a control panel in FANCYBOX.
I have a form in my page which its action and field names are same as another website and once user submit it they will redirect to their control panel in that website in a new window.
What I want is to open it in fancybox. I do not want to user leave my page, I just want them to access to that panel inside my website.
And also I want to all links of the opened frame target be _parent. I mean if they go to different parts of their panel it shows in the same fancybox not open a new window.
You might wanna look at iframe i.e. Add class='iframe' to a link check it on this page.
