Visual Studio 2015 "forgets" Proxy Authentication - visual-studio

my problem is that every time I start VS, I see
HTTP code 407: Proxy Authentication Required
in the Output window.
This is despite me having entered the credentials AND having agreed to remember the credentials.
So now I have to go to Team->Manage Connections. This opens Team Explorer with a "Manage Connections" link. That gives me a window where my Team Foundation Server is already configured but under Team Project Collections I see the 407 error. Below that I need to click Switch User. This gives me a login promt where --- and here comes the funny part --- I just type the first letter of my login and click on the suggested name, which autofills username and password and after that I get a succesful connection.
So WHY does not this work automatically? All information is obviously already there! Is this a known bug or am I missing some further options?

I have checked the logs and I see below message

I am using Microsoft Authenticator app to authenticate the request but refresh error keep pops in even though I successfully authenticate myself.
Note: I have ZScalar as firewall. I have even tried switching off ZScalar, but no luck

Why can't I login to gitlab on visual studio after signing up with email?

I just created a GitLab account, I signed up by using the "Using google" option, and it just prompted me for my gmail credentials. The email in question is a company email I was given by my administrators.
When I wanted to use these credentials in Visual Studio, it asked me with this screen for my credentials:
I entered my company email and its password, but I received this error from Visual Studio:
Fetching from origin
Remote: HTTP Basic: Access denied
Error encountered while fetching: Git failed with a fatal error.
Authentication failed for 'https://gitlab.com/xxxxxxx/xxxxx/xxxxxxx.git/
I wanted to make sure the credentials were properly set, so I went to gitlab page and signed out. When trying to sign in, same thing happens. I am allowed to sign in to gitlab if I use "Using google" option, but not via email + password.
Is this a problem?, do you know any workaround I could use to sing into my gitlab account within Visual Studio?
When you created your account, it's bound to your google credentials. You can see it's connected by clicking on your profile icon in the upper right corner and clicking "Preferences > Account". Under Social Sign-in, you'll see that the google button now shows "Disconnect Google". When you do this, GitLab does not assign you a username by default (honestly, it may now, but it didn't when I created my account several years ago). However, you can change your username on that same "Preferences > Account" page under the "Change username" heading, so go ahead and assign yourself one if you don't have one there. If you already have one, go ahead and take note of that.
Once you have your username, you can likely authenticate using an access token instead of a password. Create an access token under "Preferences > Access Token" and assign the privileges you want depending on what you are going to do with VS.
If you really want to use a password instead (or if the VS plugin doesn't work with an access token), you can set a password under "Preferences > Password", and use that instead.
Hopefully this helps!

Result
Use this token as password for you enter to the form what you seen.

Dynamics 365 Plugin Registration Tool gives permission error

When I try to connect to Dynamics 365 CRM with the Plugin Registration Tool I get the following permission error:
"You don't have permission to access any of the organizations in the
Microsoft Common Data Service region that you specified. If you're not
sure which region your organization resides in, choose "Don't know"
for the CDS region and try again. Otherwise check with your CDS
administrator. Parameter name: EMEA"
I have the System Administrator role
I can sign-in to the web interface and work with no issues
I'm sure of our region, tried to login with and without it ("Don't know" option)
Also tried with an application password as our organization uses multi factor authentication
Using the latest version of the tool on Nuget (9.0.0.9506 in the about dialog)
I can connect to my trial server the same way
We had a user who was able to connect with the same user roles set
This seems machine and account independent. Other users including the organization creator are getting the same error
We are directly connected to the internet, no proxies
One solution I've read suggested cleaning the cache files which don't appear on my system. And we get the same error on clean installations.
Solved by leaving the "Show Advanced" checkbox unchecked and not entering User ID / Password. Then a second dialog opens for credentials and 2FA authentication which just works.
You don't need an application password, as you'll be asked for MFA in the next step.
I don't know how our old teammate was able to sign in with the "Show Advanced" option selected. He was getting the same dialog and continue.

Is it possible to configure proxy authentication username and password in windows?

I have a squid proxy server with basic SQL db authentication. When setting it on a client machine, the user is prompted with a dialog that asks for the username/password.
When they are entered and the save box is checked, the prompt no longer appears in IE but chrome asks every time it is started.
My question - is it possible to preconfigure the username/password in registry or somewhere else? I have tried the
http://username:password#server:port
and variations of it with no success. When that string is entered the browsers ignore it completely and proceed with no proxy.
I looked into setting up ntlm on squid but it seems that if the client is on a different domain the user will still be prompted.
You can choose the below steps to enforce IE using the same connection during the whole authentication procedure.
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate and then click either of the following keys in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD.
Type ReleaseSocketDuring401Auth, and then press ENTER.
On the Edit menu, click Modify.
Type 0, and then click OK.

Sharepoint 2010 local - login

I am trying to setup a local Sharepoint Server 2010 for testing purposes. I have never worked wih SP before, but it is per request from a client. And I am a strong fan of "learning-by-doing".
Everything is setup fine but when I try to access the Central Administration site it keeps asking me for user and password and I have no idea what that is. Is there something I am missing somewhere or forgot to set up. I have enable anonymous login in the IIS settings but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
I am logged in with my standard Windows user "Morten".
are you using Domail Controller Active directory user to login ?
IF yes then check that your PC is available in Domain Controller
also check ,
Go to IIS > Your SIte > Right click on your site and go to advanced settings > Check for the Idenetiy under Process Model Section .
It should same as your login.
Let me know the outcome
