I have developed a web application in CodeIgniter which contains a good number of Functionalities such as: drawing charts using the JavaScript library Amcharts, implementing an Offline Map for data presentation and many more. What I want now is to be able to generate a PDF report for my pages, which contains some charts and a description of the chart when a user clicks on a button. I have searched for many libraries such as HTML2PDF, jsPDF, but none of these libraries seem to meet my needs. A screenshot of my page is shown
here. I really need recommendations on libraries which could help do what I want, if anybody has been in such a situation.
Try Dompdf. Easy to use and works well with CodeIgniter. We've used this for a couple of our customers without any problems.

Make sure to download 0.6.x the 0.7 and higher won't work since it uses namespaces.
To use this make a helper function like so:

I'm devising a small CMS for the in-house development team, where all have experience working with laravel.
The CMS requires a small feature where the services that are listed can have a quotation form attached. Instead of creating a completely separate module to add elements & other separately, I wanted to have the system in a manner that the developer adds the laravel collective form code, which we store in the database.
While retrieving, we render the form server side.
Here's my implementation
Controller

But this is definitely won't help, so I tried this approach of rendering the collective form

But I'm not sure if this should work, as I couldn't make it work.
Looking forward to a solution if at all the approach I choose is possible, if yes or can be done, would like to know more on the same.

You can render the HTML of a view using render() method. So you can update to this :
$data['form'] = View::make('website.includes.render-form',
['form' => $data['page']->quoteform()->first()]
)->render();
Now the $data['form'] will have rendered HTML which you can use in blade using {!! $data['html'] !!} if you are passing $data to your main view.

edit -- ok this is good enough addition to post. So in the tutorial, on the template.php page, you will see
$this->load->view($maincontent);
which is cool. but this is much better:

so instead of calling the view "maincontent", i've put in references to $content1, $content2, etc. Because we are doing if isset none of them are required. that way you can easily send more then one view file to the template. Or none at all if you are just showing a message, etc. Also notice that we have $templatefolder - that way you can easily reuse the template file for other site templates, even with the same content.
in your controller (similar to tutorial) it would be

note how easy it is if i want to bring in those same view files into a different template

To do the CSS url's, I added "uri" to my libraries in config/autoload.php (so it looks like this:
$autoload['libraries'] = array('uri', 'database');)
" type="text/css" media="screen" />
the base_url function automatically return whatever the base url of your site is, ie
http://localhost/news/
with the argument appended to the end.
The reason behind this is that if/when you ever need to migrate servers, you just change the base_url in the config file and it automatically updates across all of your templates and sources.

I want to place articles and modules on my page. It should look like my scatch:
I am wondering if i can make 4 articles and one module (information box) and place this inbetween those articles, Or should i just create one article wich looks like the hole area (article 1-4 + INformation box)? So far i have tried to do {loadposition infobox-pos} into article 2. But than the box-width is not 100% but 50%.
Than aggain if i would make one big article with the contents from article 1-4 it would not fit great into my responsive layout.

Joomla doesn't support this natively, since module output is controlled by the template, and component output (in this case, com_content, view=category, layout=blog) is handled before modules are rendered.
You can proceed in many ways, I am listing them in order of decreasing ease:
Write a jquery script that moves the pieces in the browser. You could also use mootools and it's bundled with joomla, but odds are you already have jquery loaded anyways.
Write a view override for abovementioned view: so copy /components/com_content/view/category/tmpl to /templates/your_template/html/com_content/category (copy all files). Then edit blog.php and insert your module there, use something like /plugins/content/loadmodule/loadmodule.php :

I will try to be as clear as possible to explain my problem. If not, tell me !
Mywebapp is based on Codeigniter. In it, I did a controller in order to show images uploaded by the users. By this way, the images can only be seen by members or authorized people and are not public like in facebook for example (image addresses are just hashed but are public).
I also use the mpdf library to generate a pdf from the content of a web page. To use it, I have in the third party directory the mpdf library. To be able to use it with my formatting, I put in the library directory (in application directory) my mpdf library (just to be able to use it from different controller). I have a pdf controller which is called from the view where I want to generate the pdf.
So the process is : I call a function of the pdf controller from my view. In this function, I call a function of my mpdf library which create a mpdf object (the third party class) and generate the pdf.
The generation of the pdf works great. The only I had is for the images. I explain. In my html document, the image are embedded like that :
<img src="http:localhost/www/myapp/library/image/hashed_name_of_the_image" alt="" />
The image function of the library controller retrieve the image and shows it. But in this function, I can protect or not the access to run it. For example, to force to be a logged user to see an image (if($this->session->userdata(‘logged’) == true)).
If there is no restriction, the generated pdf contains the images. Cool :).
But if I put a restriction, it doesn't. I understand that the mpdf object is the one which is asking to image function to show the image. So the verification failed.
I tried to use a config parameter on the CI instance object before I call the pdf function. For example, set to true a "pdf_conversion" and the conversion finished, set it back to false.
But it doesn't work. When I check the value in the image function, it's still false... It's like the config value is not change for all object but only for th pdf object which has changed it.
Is there a way to do what I want to do ??? With config parameter or anything else !!! I think I misunderstood something but don't know what !

You problem is that then the library "calls" the image function, it is not logged in. So your controller code denies access.
There are two things you can do:
Move the code that generates/gets the image form the controller into a new library. then call that library from the controller and from the PDF library. This is the preferred way.
In the "image" action, find a way to check if the request is coming from the PDF library. Best guess is to look for something in the HTTP headers the PDF library sends. Anyway this is not very secure since HTTP headers can be "faked".
OFF TOPIC: Is there a reason you server the image from a controller action instead of by directly referencing the image file?
CLARIFICATION ON SOLUTION 1
So you'll have a library image.php that looks like this

some template libraries use $this->template->render(); to output the rendered content based on your template. (you must have the template library installed obviously)

template libraries save the need to load each partial view every time.
Render is not an out-of-the-box Codeigniter function for loading view files. Render is primarily used by Codeigniter template libraries like Collin William's Template Library or Phil Sturgeon's Template Library.
The following two methods for view files are supported by Codeigniter right in the core code without using third party libraries or core extensions.
$this->load->view()
The standard and most used way of loading a view file. Does not support any fancy syntax except alternative control syntax structured PHP code or standard PHP code.
$this->parser->parse()
Using the in-built Codeigniter parser which supports a Smarty like syntax only not as powerful. Also allows you to code view files using standard PHP and HTML as well.
