Testing in Nativescript Telerik Appbuider - telerik

I've searched all over and have not found anyone who has been able to test a Nativescript project built on the Telerik Appbuilder. Even if it means exporting the project externally and testing in command line, is there any way to test it with Karma and Jasmine/Mocha?
This is probably a stretch, but I'm guessing there's also no way to integrate with continuous integration, such as Jenkins?

Specflow tests running on local web server

I am trying to use Specflow with Playwright in order to do BDD on a portal app developed but I am facing a small problem.
The Specflow project is a separate project with the ASP.Net core server that has the Api of the portal app (it is in Vue). Since the tests are pointing to a specific URL (currently localhost), before running the tests, I need to run the ASP.Net core & Vue project locally. Otherwise, Specflow & Playwright will not be able to do the test (as it will not find the localhost).
Is it any way I can force the run of the Web Server project? I tried to run it from outside Visual Studio with dotnet build and then dotnet run commands but somehow they are missing parameters (that exist while running it from inside VS) and apart from that, these commands must somehow be triggered while trying to run the tests.
I have seen solutions like creating a Docker image from a Docker Compose file in order to pack a .Net project & server in it before running the Specflow tests. Then in the BeforeTestRun hook using the FluentDocker to spin-up the server but I am not quite sure it is the easier (or best) solution.
Does anyone know how I can trigger running the .net core project (with the Vue pages)?
This is actually a pretty big question, with a pretty big answer, however this is well-trodden ground. The issue isn't so much a "specflow" issue as a general automated testing issue. Development practices like continuous integration and continuous delivery can help. Each one is too big for a single question, however I can answer this in more general terms.
In its simplest form, running automated tests locally involves these steps:
Build the application
Deploy the application to a real web server
Run tests
I'm going to assume you are developing in a Windows environment, however every operating system has some sort of command line scripting solution available. The scripting language might change, but the overall idea will not.
Configure a web server. In Windows, this would be Internet Information Services (IIS).
Add a new "application" (or "IIS app" as some people call it) to your localhost web server. Point the physical directory to the root directory for the web project. Repeat this for each web site or web app your system requires.
Write a PowerShell script that gives you an easy way to build and deploy the applications to your local web server.
This script should use publish profiles set up in Visual Studio, which allows you to publish directly from Visual Studio before invoking tests manually through Test Explorer.
Write a PowerShell script used has a "harness" script to coordinate building, deploying locally, and then invoking dotnet test.
Running tests locally just requires a single line of PowerShell to invoke your test harness script:

# Skip deploying in case web apps haven't changed:

How to use ServiceCore framework from salesforce in a Xamarin forms app?

I am getting a warning in my console when I try building the app in Release configuration. The warning reads The ServiceSDK frameworks have not been prepared for release.
Please ensure the "prepare-framework" script is run after the "Embed Frameworks" build phase.
From the documentations, I understand that a build phase script has to be run to fix the issue.
Here is how I use the framework in my solution:
I am creating a binding library which refers the framework through a Native Reference. Then I run the library project and build a .dll with I use in the iOS project within my Xamarin forms application. All this is working fine. I am able to use the intended features from the framework.
However, there is this warning which appears in the console when I run the App in Release configuration. Also, when I tried submitting the App to App Store, it throws error, which is apparently the same mentioned above.
I tried by adding Custom commands which I think is the equivalent of Xcode build phase scripts, but the warning doesn't simply go away.
Any help would be really appreciated.

testing with Protractor Selenium Cucumber in a maven project

We use Cucumber with selenium in a maven project to automate our functional tests and Jenkins for the continuous integration,
Now we start to use AngularJS front-end in the project
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to start using Protractor ?
if yes how can we use'it in the same maven project along side with cucumber?
Protractor is not java based. You need to use Javascript/nodejs in order to run Protractor. Normally in nodejs, there are separate task runners or build tools, such as Grunt/Gulp/Webpack. There might be a way you can leverage to run protractor with maven: https://github.com/greengerong/maven-ng-protractor
IMHO if your application is pure angular application, protractor can provide you some level of conveniences, if your application is in the middle of migration, I rather stay with what you have right now, to me, it doesn't provide much business value on migration from selenium to protractor.

Cucumber + XCTest integration?

We have an automation framework that uses Cucumber + Appium to test an iOS application.
Appium is fine, but one of its limitations is that we need to run every test from the beginning, which slows down development. XCTest seems to offer more breakpoint type flexibility, i.e. we can just re-run a small part of the test, as we already do with browser-based applications in Selenium.
XCTest seems easy to use and powerful, and we would like to start using it as soon as possible. Has anyone managed to integrate Cucumber with XCTest? We use Ruby for our framework and would like to keep using that also if possible.

I have recently integrated Quick(a Swift BDD framework) with the new XCTest and it all seems to be coming along fine.
As far as I know Cucumber don't have a Swift implementation yet so it is not possible to integrate Cucumber with XCTest.

Can the Lightweight Testing Automation Framework (LTAF) be used in Continuous Integration?

I'm interested in using the Lightweight Testing Automation Framework (LTAF) to create integration tests for my web application. However, I need it to be run on the build server. Does anyone know if this can set up to do this?
There does not seem to be a whole lot of information on the web on this right now :-)
There's a blog post (Lightweight Test Automation Framework – Automated Build Support) that describes how to implement the runner as a console application, it can then be integrated into a build server fairly simply by redirecting the build output and setting the return code appropriately.
