I am checking "Forgot Password" link in Magento 1.9.1 but when I click on Forgot Password and provide my email id, it is giving message reset link email will be sent to your email id.
But I am not receiving any email for admin forgot password. I am getting password reset link for Customers account.
Can you please help with this?

if you install new them platform included your information probably change... I dont know which hosting u hired but all of them similar...
Follow this steps
Hosting's Cpanel > Web Application > My Application
select your apllication (magento , wordpress , joomla etc.) and click edit.
You can see your admin name , password and mail information... you can change it what you want... Control mail section, change mail adress and try again
I've set a Joomla site password policy via users > options.
If I add a new user via the backend and try to set an insecure password, the policy seems to work and I get the appropriate error message.
If the user logs in, goes to their profile and changes their password, the password policy is still enforced.
However, if the user goes to the login screen, chooses 'Forgot your password' they are able to choose a new password which doesn't pass the policy.
I'm using the default Joomla login and registration extensions and as far as I can see, there's nothing else that could be causeing a conflict.
Does anyone have some suggestions on where to look?

I'm new to magento. Currently i'm creating a ecommerce webstore using magento. As you know magento will send a reset password link if anyone forgets his/her passwords. I want the system generated password has to be send to the users not as password resetlink.
Plz help me to achieve this....

The current 2 step password reset feature was introduced in 1.6, so you could look at porting the password reset code from an older version of Magento into your site. We've looked at doing the opposite (back-porting the new method to older Magento sites) and it's do-able. The current method is much better from a security perspective, so while what you want is possible, it's probably not advisable.
I know that there is a build in module Orchard.Users.
I want to include the user registration, Login, Forget password (etc) into My Custom Module.
I read the Orchard Documentation but I didn't find any thing useful related to this topic. Search Google leads me to answers like ADMIN -> SETTINGS - > USERS -> Add User but this is what I don't need.
I need to include the Login, User Registration in My Own Module. Please refer me to some article or suggest.
at first you should turn on user registration (ADMIN->SETTINGS->USERS->Users can create new accounts on the site)
Then you'll have access to ~/Users/Account/Register

I'm using Magento ver. 1.4.1.1.
I'm always able to login with the administrative account that was created during the installation.
I created new user and new role.After i assigned new role to new user.Also i made sure new user is active.
Now i try to login with new username and password the systems prompts that is an Invalid Username or Password.
How to solve this issue?

First of all, try the original administrator role.
If it logs in then there is a problem with the custom role.
The custom role I think in 1.4x requires global search to be checked. Otherwise there maybe a module that doesn't have permissions XML setup correctly in etc/config.xml
