Unable to save base 64 Image in Laravel 8

I am trying to save base64 image that is coming from the ajax post (blade file). Below is the code that I am using to save the data but it is giving 500 error.
public function add_ref_images_first(Request $request){
$fileName = "";
$end_url = "";
$count = 0;
$folder_name = 'PUBP' . time();
foreach ($request->images as $data){
$image_64 = $data['src']; //your base64 encoded data
$extension = explode('/', explode(':', substr($image_64, 0, strpos($image_64, ';')))[1])[1]; // .jpg .png .pdf
$replace = substr($image_64, 0, strpos($image_64, ',')+1);
//
// // find substring fro replace here eg: data:image/png;base64,
//
$image = str_replace($replace, '', $image_64);
$image = str_replace(' ', '+', $image);
$ref_image_id = 'PUBR'.time().$count++.'.'.$extension;
$fileName = base64_decode($image)->storeAs($folder_name, $ref_image_id , ['disk' => 'my_uploaded_files']);
if($imageName){
$end_url = $end_url.$imageName.',';
}
}
return response()->json(['url' => $end_url, 'id' => '1']);
}
Is there issue with the code?
instead of the line
$fileName = base64_decode($image)->storeAs($folder_name, $ref_image_id , ['disk'
=> 'my_uploaded_files']);
you can do :
use Illuminate\Support\Facades\Storage;
Storage::put($ref_image_id, base64_decode($image), 'local');
because basically you were trying storeAs on a string value, storeAs works on $request->file('nameFromForm')

Laravel, multiple file deleting in foreach

I wanna delete files from server by database ids.
I'm trying to do this in foreach loop.
Single file deleting is ok but, when user sends multiple file (by checkbox)
my loop deletes only first.
public function postSil(Request $request)
{
$ids = $request->input('sil');
foreach($ids as $id)
{
$file = File::find($id)->first();
$path = public_path().'/rea-files/'.$file->rea_number.'/'.$file->file_name;
\File::delete($path);
// echo 'id';
}
//return 1;
File::destroy($ids); //this is model file.
return redirect()->back();
}
As you can see, i tried if foreach loop works as well, placed echo and return and i see foreach loop is working but only deletes first file.
I have solved. I used array in File::delete()
just try below code
(case A) User fields indexed by number 0,1,2..
$users_to_delete = array(
'0'=> array('1','Frank','Smith','Whatever'),
'1'=> array('5','John','Johnson','Whateverelse'),
);
$ids_to_delete = array_map(function($item){ return $item[0]; }, $users_to_delete);
DB::table('users')->whereIn('id', $ids_to_delete)->delete();
//(case B) User fields indexed by key
$users_to_delete = array(
'0'=> array('id'=>'1','name'=>'Frank','surname'=>'Smith','title'=>'Whatever'),
'1'=> array('id'=>'5','name'=>'John','surname'=>'Johnson','title'=>'Whateverelse'),
);
$ids_to_delete = array_map(function($item){ return $item['id']; }, $users_to_delete);
DB::table('users')->whereIn('id', $ids_to_delete)->delete();
Case c
$ids = array( '0' => 1, '1' => 2);
DB::table('users')->whereIn('id',$ids)->delete();

codeigniter generating multiple pdfs

i'm trying to generates pdfs in loop against member id, but every time i got only the first one, i addedd code in foreach so it runs multiple times, but it gives me only one pdf.please someone help me.
public function pdf($ids){
$k = 0;
foreach ($ids as $key => $id) {
$data[$k]['academics'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table_where('member_academics', array('member_id' => $id));
$data[$k]['member_employment'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table_where('member_employment', array('member_id' => $id));
$data[$k]['member_data'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table_where('members',array('member_id' => $id));
$data[$k]['disclosure'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('generalsettings',array('key'=>'disclosure'));
$data[$k]['enrollment_fee'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('member_invoices',array('user_id' => $id,'paymentFor'=>'Enrollment Fee'));
$data[$k]['enrollment_fee']['payment'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('member_payments',array('invoice_id'=>$data[$k]['enrollment_fee']['id']));
$j=0;
if (!empty($data[$k]['member_data'])) {
foreach ($data[$k]['member_data'] as $member) {
$data[$k]['member_data'][$j]['term'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('term', array('term_id' => $member['term_id']));
$data[$k]['member_data'][$j]['degree'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('degree', array('degree_id' => $member['degree_id']));
$data[$k]['member_data'][$j]['year'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('year', array('year_id' => $member['year_id']));
$data[$k]['member_data'][$j]['address'] = $this->Utility_model->get_all_from_table('member_addresses', array('id' => $member['address_id']));
$j++;
}
}
$this->load->view('admin/reports_management/applications_pdf/pdf_output',$data[$k],false);
$html = $this->output->get_output();
$this->load->library('dompdf_gen');
$this->dompdf->load_html($html);
$this->dompdf->render();
$this->dompdf->stream($k."file".".pdf");
$k++;
}
// echo "<pre>";
// print_r($data);
// die;
}
As long as you only request the page once you cannot get the controller method to output more than one file. You could either try to instead make a multiple page PDF or you need to change how the controller is called, and call it multiple times.

How to get a value from the last inserted row using Codeigniter

Is there any codeigniter function to do this?
try this code:
$this->db->insert_id();
Refer:
https://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/database/helpers.html
There is no special function for that. But you can get the id of row that you've just inserted and then get it's data:
$this->db->insert('table_name', $data);
$id = $this->db->insert_id();
$q = $this->db->get_where('table_name', array('id' => $id));
return $q->row();
I have tips for you. When you want to insert data, please return your data array and you can edit it.
public function set_alb_photos() {
$data = array(
'alp_title' => $this->input->post('alp_title'),
'alp_file_location' => $this->input->post('alp_file_location'),
'alp_album_id' => $this->input->get('alb_id'),
'alp_created_at' => date("Y-m-d H:i:s"),
'alp_updated_at' => date("Y-m-d H:i:s")
);
$this->db->insert('alb_photos', $data);
return $data;
}
I hope this help.
Use Active Record method after insertion. return last inserted id
function insert($data)
{
$this->db->insert('tablename', $data);
return $this->db->insert_id();
}
Here is reference
This will help you to get last inserted row from the table.
$last = $this->db->order_by('id',"desc")->limit(1)->get('tablename')->row();
print_r($last);
You can get inserted data by below code,
$query = $this->db->get_where('table1', array('id' => $id)); //get inserted data
return $query->result_array();
Refer:https://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/database/query_builder.html
What about :
$this->db->get('mytable', 1,0)
Try this only with active record of codeigniter. This code gives you the last row of your table.
$this->db->limit(1);
$this->db->order_by('id','desc');
$query = $this->db->get('tablename');
return $query->result_array();
Try this depending on the options and return :
$data = {} //your array;
// now if your $data array contained all the values of the new row just do this
function yourFunction(){
// insert into array into db
$this->db->insert('table_name', $data);
// get created rows id
$id = $this->db->insert_id();
// update your $data array with the new generated id and return it
$data['id'] = $id;
return $data;
}
// Option 2: if row has fields that auto populates (example current timestamp)
function yourFunctionAlt(){
// insert into array into db
$this->db->insert('table_name', $data);
// get created rows id
$id = $this->db->insert_id();
// get row as a array
$_rowArray = $this-db->get_where('table_name',array('id'=>$id)->row_array();
return $_rowArray;
// or get as a object
$_Object = $this->db->get_where('table_name',array('id'=>$id);
return $_Object;
}

Incorrect Signature in facebook stream_publish call

I am having a facebook error on stream_publish call. I actually used an extension for Magento for Fconnect. Fconnect & Flogin is working fine. But it is requirement that when user place an order it should be posted on user's wall. For that I have implemented like this
document.observe('click', function(e){
if (e.element().match('a[rel^=facebook-connect]') || e.element().match('button[rel^=facebook-connect]')) {
e.stop();
FB.login(function(response){
if(response.status=='connected') setLocation('http://staging.mystore.com/facebook/customer_account/connect/');
}, {perms:"email,publish_stream"});
}
});
in Facebook Client file generateSignature method is like this
private function _generateSig($params_array)
{
Mage::log($params_array);
$str = '';
ksort($params_array);
foreach ($params_array as $k=>$v) {
$str .= "$k=$v";
}
$str .= $this->_secret;
Mage::log($str);
Mage::log('md5 sigs:: ' . md5($str));
return md5($str);
}
& My code that is calling the API is like this
$message = 'just placed an order on mystore.com';
$attachment = array(
'name' => "mystore",
'href' => 'http://www.mystore.com/',
'description' => 'New order on mystore.com',
'media' => array(array('type' => 'image',
'src' => 'http://www.mystore.com/skin/frontend/default/mystore/images/logo.png',
'href' => 'http://www.mystore.com/')));
$action_links = array( array('text' => 'Buy#mystore', 'href' => 'http://www.mystore.com/'));
$attachment = json_encode($attachment);
$action_links = json_encode($action_links);
try{
// if( $facebook->api_client->stream_publish($message, $attachment, $action_links, null, $target_id))
if($this->_getClient()->call( 'facebook.stream.publish',
array($message, $attachment, $action_links,
$this->_getClient()->users->getLoggedInUser(),
Mage::getSingleton('facebook/config')->getApiKey() )
) )
{
Mage::log( "Added on FB Wall" );
}
} catch(Exception $e)
{
Mage::log( "Exception in wall write" );
Mage::log($e);
}
After logging the Signature I found in log is
api_key=XXXXXXXXmethod=facebook.stream.publishsession_key=2.AQCm5fABfobInAS5.3600.1309352400.1-1000025660978090=just placed an order on mystore.comcall_id=1309345883.3068format=JSONv=1.01={"name":"mystore","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/","description":"New order on mystore.com","media":[{"type":"image","src":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/skin\/frontend\/default\/mystore\/images\/logo.png","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/"}]}2=[{"text":"Buy#mystore","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/"}]3=1000025660978094=5070afefb42b162aff748f55ecf44d110d9e2a90117ee1704e2adb41f1d190fa
I have never done any development on Facebook SO I have no Idea what to do? Please help me with solution. & let me know if u guys need any other info to understand this.
Oh yeah One more thing the Client File code that is calling Api (call method) its like this
private function _prepareParams($method, $params)
{
$defaultParams = array(
'api_key' => $this->_apiKey,
'call_id' => microtime(true),
'format' => 'JSON',
'v' => '1.0'
);
if($this->_sessionKey){
$defaultParams['session_key'] = $this->_sessionKey;
}
$params = array_merge($defaultParams, $params);
foreach ($params as $key => &$val) {
if (!is_array($val)) continue;
$val = Zend_Json::encode($val);
}
$params['method'] = $method;
if(isset($params['sig'])) {
unset($params['sig']);
}
$params['sig'] = $this->_generateSig($params);
return $params;
}
public function call($method, $args=array())
{
Mage::log($args);
$params = $this->_prepareParams($method, $args);
$client = self::_getHttpClient()
->setUri(self::FACEBOOK_REST_URI)
->setMethod(Zend_Http_Client::POST)
->resetParameters()
->setParameterPost($params);
try {
$response = $client->request();
} catch(Exception $e) {
throw new Mage_Core_Exception('Service unavaliable');
}
if(!$response->isSuccessful()) {
throw new Mage_Core_Exception('Service unavaliable');
}
$result = Zend_Json::decode($response->getBody());
//json decode returns float on long uid number? is_json check? old php?
if(is_float($result)){
$result = $response->getBody();
}
if(is_array($result) && isset($result['error_code'])) {
throw new Mage_Core_Exception($result['error_msg'], $result['error_code']);
}
return $result;
}
For calling API I used two ways $this->_getClient()->call( 'facebook.stream.publish',
& $this->_getClient()->call( 'stream_publish',
None of them are working
ok GUys I figure out the mistake
look at my code
format=JSONv=1.01={"name":"mystore","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/","description":"New order on mystore.com","media":[{"type":"image","src":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/skin\/frontend\/default\/mystore\/images\/logo.png","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/"}]}2=[{"text":"Buy#mystore","href":"http:\/\/www.mystore.com\/"}]3=1000025660978094=5070afefb42b162aff748f55ecf44d110d9e2a90117ee1704e2adb41f1d190fa
where u can see format=JSONv=1.01={....}2=[{.....}] the problem was I used numeric arrays for parameters. they should be associated arrays
like message={new order}attachment={....}
Once I fixed the associative array problem my code start working correctly
here is a link that'll give u detail about parameters to pass to stream.publish
http://schoolout.net/en/developers/view/39
Hope this will help somebody else too.
