Visual Studio Team Services and Xamarin.Android/iOS build configuration - xamarin

I'm trying to add continues build for my Xamarin forms project which has Android and iOS project in it. I also have Team Services account. I host my code in external Git repository. I configured external git in Team Services project as well. Now I want to create build definitions for Xamarin iOS/Android, but cannot find any good article which explains it in detail. I don't know how I configure options shown in this image.
Can anyone help me get this configured correctly.

VS2017 fails to create appxupload-package of headless IoT app for store publishing

I want to publish a headless UWP application for Windows 10 IoT Core devices to the app store, but fail to build the neccessary appxupload-package.
The app itself is a simple background task that reacts to the push of a button and communicates with a web service using SignlR. The project template can be found here: Windows IoT Core Project Templates for VS 2017
There is a guide for publishing UWP apps to the store, including special instructions for headless apps: Installing and Servicing apps on Windows 10 IoT Core
I follow this instructions step by step but still Visual Studio 2017 fails to build the appxupload-package (error message: "ilc.exe exited with code 1004"). If I try to build the solution I get following error: "Applications with custom entry point executables are not supported".
I did not do any other relevant modifications to the Manifest beside those mentioned in the instructions.
Also, without this modifications to the Manifest, Visual Studio 2017 succeeds creating the appxupload-package - but I can't use that one since it won't be accepted by the store because of it's headless nature.
I really have no clue about how to make this work and hope somebody can help me with this problem here! I didn't find any other information about this problem anywhere else.
I managed to create the appxupload-package. Turns out the guide to publish headless apps to the appstore has some issues.
The guide is written using markdown and some of the information contained simply gets cut off when rendered for viewing purpose.

Develop an Azure Service Fabric Application with Visual Studio 2017 for Mac

my team is creating an Azure Service Fabric application using ASP.NET/Dotnet Core. Whenever I try to import the project into my Visual Studio 2017 for Mac I get the error
Error while trying to load the project '.../Project.sfproj: Unknown solution item type'
The solution contains several projects, some with a csproj (which I can open just fine), and some with a sfproj, that cause the problems. I can't even browse them in VS2017:
I can run msbuild from the shell (get some Compiler errors, but that's fine), but cannot manage to load the project into my IDE. I guess I'm missing the Service Fabric SDK, but that is not available for mac afaik. I managed to pull some jars from the vagrant image, as described here but that doesn't help me in a ASP.NET/Dotnet Core application.
Unfortunately, this feature is currently not available. If anyone wants it, vote for it on the visual studio user voice page.

SharePoint Provider Hosted app deployment

I am new to sharepoint so please bear with me! I have completed a provider hosted application that we will be hosting on premise! One of our requirements is that all apps are ran through TeamCity for build and Octopus for deployment and we use GIT for Source control. I have figured out how to get team city to build my MVC portion of the provider hosted app and got octopus to deploy it, my problem is now how to get he SharePoint part of the app to be automated like that. WHat I mean is now I have to click on publish in visual studio and have it create a .app file and I then have to give that to our operations guys who then upload it to our internal app catalog! is there a way to get TeamCity to create the .App file and then have Octopus deploy it to the Sharepoint Catalog?

How do I configure Xamarin.iOS build step in Visual Studio Team Services?

I am trying to configure Visual Studio Team Services to build a Xamarin.Forms project and build the project. But I cannot get it queue a build on a hosted agent pool. I am using the following build steps:

It appears as though I am missing a critical step. What did I forget to configure? Thank you.
Building "Xamarin.iOS" project requires an On-premises XPlat agent with Xamarin installed.

How to Deploy On-Premises with Visual Studio Online Continuous Delivery

My team uses Visual Studio Online ("VSO") to manage our ALM.
We already have a push-button build-process in place to build code from our local Git repo (remotely) and deploy it to a Microsoft Azure Website on Azure.
In addition to this we want a local, development-testing environment built and deployed with a push of a button.
What is the best way to integrate an automated, on-premises development-testing deployment into our development pipeline from within VSO's ALM ecosystem?
[We do also own TFS 2012 -- is there a way to leverage it from VSO to drive an on-premises build deployment from our VSO git repo?]
To deploy builds on-premise, I installed an on-premise build server and used it as the default build controller in my build definition.
When installing the build server select your Visual Studio Online url to point the build server to your team project collection.

(normal issues when installing a build server remember to copy over your MSbuild folder from a machine with Visual Studio already installed etc...)
I know it's been a while since the question was asked, but this guy did it with an extension to be added to your VSTS account to deploy directly to an on-premise IIS. I'm going to check this solution today but I'm pretty sure it will work.
