downloading supporting documents from www folder in shiny application - download

Since the dataset that drives the app is huge, In my shiny application, I am creating a glossary page. However, I could not cover all the details. Some of them I like to provide as downloadable word or pdf files. Assuming the name of my file is
estimates.doc
which i have saved in www folder of my app, my code within the UI of the app is as follows:

Using Xamarin Essentials File Picker in Fabulous (F#) UWP app

I am testing out making a UWP app using the Fabulous framework for writing functional cross-platform apps, and I want to use a FilePicker on a button press and use the selected file for some data processing.
Executing
let fileResult = FilePicker.PickAsync() |> Async.AwaitTask opens the file picker and returns a Async<FileResult> after a file is picked (This to say that the button and subsequent function call executes), but the rest of the code following it will execute before the result can be used. If I append |> Async.RunSynchronously it (as expected) blocks the thread and no file can be chosen in the window that appears, although the return value would be the FileResult.
After looking into how this should be done, I realise that the file picker should be opened on the main thread, which leads me to a solution on the following form

I figured out a way to do what I wanted by further looking into the test example and the Fabulous documentation for Updates and messages https://fsprojects.github.io/Fabulous/Fabulous.XamarinForms/update.html.
Basing it off of the standard app that is generated when creating a new Fabulous project, just have a given string in the model for e.g. the file path (I've called it FilePath) for now, and add three additional messages to type Msg as follows

where the first is sent whenever the button for selecting a file is pressed, the second is sent with the file upon selected and the third is for if a user exits out of the file dialogue without selecting a file.
You need a function to select the file asynchronously

I am not sure whether this is considered a good approach, but it seems better than utilising let mutable at least.

How do I export contents between xml tags based on names in Extendscript for Indesign?

All I'd like to do here is open an InDesign 2018 CC file, pull out text uniquely (here I've chosen to grab content inside XML tag called "Title" from named tag window in the InDesign application side), save it to a txt file, and close the InDesign doc. I'm working in the Extendscript app, using Adobe InDesign CC 2018 (13.064). I just need to push to a txt file only certain named data (textboxes, xmltags, pageitems, etc) the contents based on anything, but via the name of the data holder. But xmltags are the only objects that I can name in the InDesign app apart from layers, and layers won't work for other reasons. So I'm stuck not being able to refer to xml-tagged contents. Please help.
Note:
I get an error with this code saying "Title" isn't defined, and I understand the error, but not sure how to utilize the method XML.toString() without referring to an object that's named inside the InDesign file. So I guess I'm using the wrong method to refer to xml-tagged data already located in a file??
So naturally, I throw out XML.toString() and utilize the commented out code (below) "app.activeDocument.xmlItems.item;" thinking maybe I will get an array of all items that are xml tagged, which is not even specific enough for my goal, but I'm desperate, and I get another newer error regarding the "exportfile" line of code: myArticles.exportFile() is not a function.

JXA: Create a mailbox in Apple Mail

I am trying to create a sub-mailbox in Apple Mail using JavaScript.
I have the following code snippet (parent is a reference to the mailbox in which I want the new mailbox):

This works as long as there are no spaces in the path.
I tried to force the space using \\ in front of it, but then you get "Test\ Archive" as the name.
So how do I get a space in the name to work?

To create a sub-folder, you need a name like a posix path --> "/theMasterMailbox/subMailBox1/subMailBox2/subMailBox3".
So, you need:
A loop to put the name of each parent folder into an array.
Use join('/') to join the elements of an array into a string.
Use mail.mailboxes.push(mb) instead of parent.mailboxes.push(mb)
Here's a sample script which creates a mailbox named "SubFolder" in the selected folder (the mailbox):

cell clicked works locally but not on remote shiny server --DT

I have an application that listens for a cell click in a DT in any cell and then updates a plot accordingly. The program works perfectly when I runApp() locally. However when I depoloy the app on a shiny server, the click no longer triggers any actions. This discepancy does not exists for other action listeners such as a simple refresh button, as I have demonstrated in the code below. You can see how the discrepancy between remote and local does not exist for the refresh button condition input$refreshButton!=0, but there is a discrepancy using the length(input$table_cell_clicked)>0 trigger condition.
I have done some research into this error and this is what I know so far:
1) I am getting the warning "Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience." in the console when the app is deployed remotely. I am told this has something to do with a setting in a file in my shiny server called javascript.min.js and jquery.min.js that says c.async="false" I have searched for every file on my serer with that name or containing the string async="false", and changed the setting to sync="true". However I did not find any files with the exact string c.async="true". I can see the file with this string in the browser console, which gives a location relative to server::port/, but I do not know where that file actually lives on my system, and I suspect it is just a file made on the fly by shiny services.
2) It is possible that this could be fixed with something related to the selectize functionality in some shiny inputs, which may cause the code to execute asynchronously(?). I have tried a few different things but couldn't get any to solve the problem.
3) There is a commonly known annoyance with shiny that it is generally hard to debug. In my case, it would be extremely helpful if I could see the output of the server.R functions as I would when using runApp() locally. Using a call to browser, options(shiny.trace = T) were both recommended, but when I add them to the code below, nothing apprears in the console output. I even tried using sink in order to save to output to some file on the remote server, and it rusn without error, but I do not see any file in the location indicated. If I could at least see the output of this file, or the request/response messages between the server and the client it would go a long way towards debugging this.
So the two questions are: how can I see these messages/output when the app is deployed remotely? And more importantly, how can I implement a fix so that all of my hard work on this project (unfortunately can't disclose any details) will not be a waste.

I was able to get some output by placing an erroneous line of code right after the cell variable is defined, causing the shiny server to dump output to the javascript console. At this time this is the only way I know how to capture any output. However, the output is quite informative, as it shows that the table_cell_clicked attribute is not being exported on the remote server at all, whereas other attributes such as row_last_clicked are.

How to create a link in Sinatra that points to a directory of files?

I have an application that calls an other application that populates a directory. Once it is finished I want to provide a link to the directory that contains the created files and people can examine or download them via the browser:
For example this works to provide a link to a single file: (Note this uses HAML) but the idea is the same
