How to replace millisecond with second inside the bracket as shown above.
And if time will be more than 60 seconds then it should be replaced with minute.
For example, as shown in bracket 471 ms, it should be replaced with 0.475 second and if time is 76 second.
It should be replaced with 1 minute 16 second.
I can think of two ways to achieve the desired behaviour:
Use the event listener API to customize the output.
Google Test provides an event listener API to let you receive notifications about the progress of a test program and test failures. The events you can listen to include the start and end of the test program, a test case, or a test method, among others. You may use this API to augment or replace the standard console output, replace the XML output, or provide a completely different form of output, such as a GUI or a database. You can also use test events as checkpoints to implement a resource leak checker, for example.
Use XML output so you can later post-process the results and get time values formatted at your will.

After a long period of time of reading, It's my first post here. :)
My question is the following:
Using JMeter, I have to execute 10000 requests, but between every 1000 of them, I should have sleep time (from 0 to 1000 => sleep time => from 1000 to 2000 => sleep time => ...).
I was able to do that using if clause and '__counter(FALSE,)' with pause between every 1000 requests, but it's working only on one thread. If I set >1 threads, it skipping if clause and sleep time is not activated. Far as I know, first parameter of the "counter" function makes it "global" if it is FALSE, but I am confused why the if clause is skipped, if more than 1 thread is used.
I'm checking the counter with groovy func: ${__groovy("${__counter(FALSE,)}" == "1000")}
How do you know that the "sleep time is not activated"?
Your "sleep time" will be "activated" only once when the counter reaches 1000, on 2000 and so on the condition will not be met
Inlining JMeter functions or variables into Groovy scripts is not very recommended, consider switching to __jexl3() function and changing your expression to something like:
${__jexl3(${__counter(FALSE,)} % 1000 == 0,)}

My scenario is , I record a test and it will take 10 second to finish ,after that I put a duration and make it 5 minutes , so my question is , is my test will be take time same as duration ? or the test will be finished in 10 second but the result will display after 5 minutes?
Test will be finished:
When the last Sampler is executed
Or the time set in "Duration" passes
whatever comes the first
If you have only 1 loop on Thread Group level - all the samplers will be executed once, if you have 2 loops - they will be executed twice, etc. The "duration" constraint is applicable at any case.

I have 8 threads in JMeter, which i am executing for every 5 minutes using Task scheduler.
Now i have included 2 threads which want to run for 5 times per day only (ex: at 12am, 5am,10am...)
when the moment comes, the execution shall be 8+2 & remaining time, it shall be only 8 threads.
Is it possible to configure such usecase in Jmeter..
If you're going to use the same .jmx script and want to execute either 8 or 10 "threads" (whatever it is), you can go for:

I'm creating a small test using JMeter. So far I have one Thread Group that executes an HTTP request, waits for 10 seconds, then executes an other HTTP Request and checks what was returned. If I start 100 such threads with 1 second ramp-up period from the JMeter GUI, it works fine, I get the expected values and the whole test finishes in 22 seconds. However, when I start the very same jmx file from the command line, the test runs for more than 120 seconds and some threads (at the last run, 36 out of the 100) don't get the expected value. This might indicate a bug in the system I test, but I don't understand why the test takes that long time from the CLI and why I get errors from the CLI. What is the difference between running the test from the GUI and from the CLI? Does the CLI run the tests "more parallel"? By the way, this is the command line I'm using:

The Constant timer waits for 10 seconds. The first HTTP Request sends in some data and initiates a computation, the second checks the result.
I think you should disable the following listeners in non gui test:
View Results Tree
Save Responses to a file
View Results in Table
Summary Report
After disable you still have result using -l test_transactions.out which you can later view using GUI mode with Browse button in your Listener
In non GUI you can also generate dashboard report if you want by adding -e -o /path/dashboardfolder
It actually does indicate the bug in the system under test. The reason is that you must run JMeter in non-GUI mode as GUI creates huge overhead in terms of resources consumption, especially when you're using Listeners, especially if one of them is View Results Tree.
So my expectation is that in non-GUI mode you're basically creating more immense load which your application cannot handle. You can check this out using i.e. Active Threads Over Time and Transactions Per Second listeners.
Am running recorded jmeter performance script (by adding summary and aggrgate listners), in non-gui mode using Maven. After running am getting .jtl file, but am not seeing the values for summary and aggregate values.
how can i see the summary or aggregate report in .jtl file, without opening Jmeter GUI.
We are planneing to run through jenkins on daily basis. Once jtl file is generated the other script has to look the values for summary / aggregate values and show it on the dashboard.
Can anybody please help me regarding this.
Typically I set the results file int the Summary Report Listener and select the fields I want to get back. When you run the test via non-gui (ie through Jenkins) you will get the summary results file and it should be in your workspace.

This will not show up in the JTL but will show up in your log file and will generate lines such as

The values you're used to see in Aggregate Report / Summary Report listeners are being calculated from the following metrics:
timestamp
elapsed
success
bytes
latency
For instance:
Average metric is sub of "elapsed" times for all the samplers divided by samplers count.
Median metric is a common statistical measurement basically 50% percentile
90%, 95%, 99% - are also percentiles like median
etc.
Depending on your skills set you can check i.e. Calculator.java class code to see how JMeter calculates averages, percentiles, throughput, etc. and implement some form of postprocessor, use MS Excel, LibreOffice Calc or equivalent on .jtl CSV results file.
If you need to get these results after JMeter run the easiest option are:
