module.exports = {

var fetch = require('./static/fetchData');
fetch.LogValue1(data);
If the problem is the require part, you need to you requireJs for that.
Just add to your page.

My current code is:
var CommissionLogs = $("#CommissionLogs").DataTable({
ajax: {
url: ajaxurl + '?action=pos&post_action=get_commissions'
},
'initComplete': function (settings, json){
//possible to access 'this'
this.api().columns(1);
}
});
I improved the code above as below with help :
var CommissionLogs = $("#CommissionLogs").DataTable({
ajax: {
url: ajaxurl + '?action=pos&post_action=get_commissions'
},
'initComplete': function(settings, json){
callbackFunction(settings);
}
});
function callbackFunction(settings){
var api = new $.fn.dataTable.Api( settings );
// api is accessible here.
}
Update :
Now I can access api from callback function. But I want use same callback with load() as below code.
CommissionLogs.ajax.url( newAjaxURL ).load( callbackFunction(), true);
But settings param is not accessible in load function.
I can clear and destroy datatable and re initialize always. But what will be the right way.
I think you need settings:
https://datatables.net/reference/type/DataTables.Settings
$('#example').dataTable( {
"initComplete": function(settings, json) {
myFunction(settings);
}
});
function myFunction(settings){
var api = new $.fn.dataTable.Api( settings );
// Output the data for the visible rows to the browser's console
// You might do something more useful with it!
console.log( api.rows( {page:'current'} ).data() );
}
Other option is re-use your var CommissionLogs variable throughout the code without using this, I recommend strongly this last option.
The dataTable.ajax.url().load() has not access to settings.
So can not call a callback function with settings.
But possible to use callback function without settings.
So here is an alternative way to use settings.
CommissionLogs.clear();// clear the table
CommissionLogs.destroy();// destroy the table
CommissionLogs = $("#CommissionLogs").DataTable({
ajax: {
url: newAjaxUrl
},
'initComplete': function (settings, json){
callbackDatatableFunciton(settings);
}
});
I am trying to use the property launch_url in my tests and append a relative path to it before sending the browser to that url.
I know that browser.init(); send the browser to the address in launch_url but I was wondering if it is possible to append some string to the retrieved url before executing the redirect.
Assuming my launch_url is www.xxx.com, I'd like to do something like:
this.test = function (client) {
client.init("/a/b/c"); // >> should result in the browser going to www.xxx.com/a/b/c
};
Any idea?
Thanks
If you have specified a "launch_url" in your nightwatch.json file, you can access it on the 'client' object passed into your tests. For example:
module.exports = {
'Demo test Google' : function (client) {
client
.url(client.launch_url)
.waitForElementVisible('body', 1000)
.setValue('input[type=text]', 'nightwatch')
.waitForElementVisible('button[name=btnG]', 1000)
.click('button[name=btnG]')
.pause(1000)
.assert.containsText('#main', 'Night Watch')
.end();
}
};
So, for your example code:
this.test = function (client) {
client.url(client.launch_url + "/a/b/c"); // >> should result in the browser going to www.xxx.com/a/b/c
};
An alternative would be to create a config file with some base items in it; then be able to append that config file through a custom init method you use.
IE:
var configDefaults = module.exports = {
baseUrl: 'http://www.example.com/',
local: false,
};
Then in your custom command write something like:
"use strict";
var config = require('./config')
exports.command = function(urlModifier) {
var _self = this;
_self
.url(config.baseUrl+urlModifier)
.waitForElementVisible('body', 4000)
if( typeof callback === "function"){
callback.call(_self);
}
return this;
};
I am creating an MVC3 application, with requireJS. In my views I need to convert the Model object into a knockout viewmodel object. So I need to use knockout and knockout.mapping libraries.
My application is designed in the following way,
1). All the script files are categorized into folders
Scripts/app/home/ - contains the scripts for the views in Home controller.
Scripts/lib/ - contains the scripts like jQuery, knockout,knockout.mapping, requirejs etc
2). In the "_Layout.cshtml" I am referencing "require.js" like this.
<script src="#Url.Content("~/Scripts/lib/require.js")" type="text/javascript"></script>
3). To configure the require.js settings I am using a different script file called "common.js" (Scripts/lib/common.js)
require.config(
{
baseUrl: "/Scripts/",
paths:{
jquery: "lib/jquery-2.0.3",
ko: "lib/knockout-2.3.0",
komapping: "lib/knockout.mapping"
}
});
4). This is my index.js file which is in 'Scripts/app/home/"
define(['ko', 'komapping'], function (ko, komapping) {
var person = function () {
var self = this;
self.getPersonViewModel = function (data) {
return ko.mapping.fromJS(data); ;
};
};
return { Person: person };
});
5). This is my "Index" action method in the "Home" controller
public ActionResult Index()
{
var person = new Person
{
Id = 1,
Name = "John",
Addresses = new List<Address>(new[]{new Address{Country = "Country 1", City = "City 1"}})
};
return View(person);
}
6). Finally this is my "Index" view
#model MMS.Web.Models.Person
<script type="text/javascript">
require(["/Scripts/common/common.js"], function () {
require(["app/home/index"], function (indexJS) {
var person = new indexJS.Person();
var vm = person.getPersonViewModel(#Html.Raw(Json.Encode(Model)));
});
});
</script>
The problem which I am facing is when loading the index.js file, I get a script error that the knockout.js cannot be loaded.
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) - http:///Scripts/knockout.js
But if I remove the dependency of "komapping" inside the "index.js" file it loads correctly, but then I cannot use the mapping functionality.
I had a look inside these links, but couldn't find a solution,
Knockout.js mapping plugin with require.js and
https://github.com/SteveSanderson/knockout.mapping/issues/57
Your help, suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!
I had the same issue. The problem is that the knockout.mapping defines a knockout dependency, so you need to satisfy this one when you load the script.
Here is how you should load your mapping stuff
require.config(
{
baseUrl: "/Scripts/",
paths:{
jquery: "lib/jquery-2.0.3",
knockout: "lib/knockout-2.3.0",
komapping: "lib/knockout.mapping"
},
shim: {
komapping: {
deps: ['knockout'],
exports: 'komapping'
}
}
});
Then in my case, I use an index.js file with a requirejs call like the following
requirejs(['jquery', 'knockout', 'komapping'], function($, ko, komapping){
ko.mapping = komapping;
//Do other stuff here
});
I am calling MVC action something like below:
var RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget = {
frmId: '',
onFormSubmit: function () {
var frm = $(RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget.frmId);
var divResult;
$('.offerbox').hide();
$.post(frm.attr('action'), frm.serialize(), function (html) {
// $('#section-time-slots').html(html)
$('#contentAll').html(html);
DisplayOffer();
});
return false;
},
updateTimeDesc: function () {
$('#time').val($('#SittingTime option:selected').html());
},
init: function (frmId) {
RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget.frmId = frmId;
$('#SittingTime').bind('change', RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget.updateTimeDesc);
$(frmId).bind('submit', RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget.onFormSubmit);
RestaurantDetailsUIforForeignWidget.updateTimeDesc();
}
};
As you can see $('#contentAll').html(html); updates whole view content with the result. What I want is to get a single div from html output and update the $('#section-time-slots') instead.
Please help me guys... thanks :)
Try this:
$.post(frm.attr('action'), frm.serialize(), function (html) {
$('#section-time-slots').html($("#IdOfRequiredElementInResponse", html).html());
DisplayOffer();
});
I cant seem to find a way to make django-dajaxice have its callback inside same scoped object from which made the initial call.
MyViewport = Ext.extend(MyViewportUi, {
initComponent: function() {
MyViewport.superclass.initComponent.call(this);
},
LoadRecordsCallback: function(data){
if(data!='DAJAXICE_EXCEPTION')
{ alert(data); }
else
{ alert('DAJAXICE_EXCEPTION'); }
},
LoadRecords: function(){
Dajaxice.Console.GetUserRecords(this.LoadRecordsCallback);
}
});
var blah = new MyViewport();
blah.LoadRecords();
I'm on django, and like the calling syntax to django-dajaxice. I'm using Extjs 3.2 and tried passing a Ext.createCallback but Dajax's returning eval seems to only want a string for the callback.
BozoJoe, this should work.
MyViewport = Ext.extend(MyViewportUi, {
initComponent: function() {
MyViewport.superclass.initComponent.call(this);
},
LoadRecordsCallback: function(data){
if(data!='DAJAXICE_EXCEPTION')
{ alert(data); }
else
{ alert('DAJAXICE_EXCEPTION'); }
},
LoadRecords: function(){
Dajaxice.Console.GetUserRecords('blah.LoadRecordsCallback');
}
});
var blah = new MyViewport();
blah.LoadRecords();
I'm not familiar with django at all, but I think I understand the problem.
It seems that the API mandates that you pass a string which will be eval'd as a function call, so you must pass the name of the function, rather than the function itself.
This in turn means that it must be a name that is meaningful at the window scope - either a function defined outside of an Ext class (e.g. "myGlobalFunction"), or a member function of an Ext class that is accessible as a variable (e.g. "window.blah.LoadRecordsCallback")
