Does google people api support the ability to query? Currently, the older api contact google api allows you to use a query parameter "q" to do a simple text search. Was wondering if people api supports this?
Thanks,
Derek
Google People API currently does not support doing such a query. That functionality is one of the feature requests.

I am using Google translate API in my iOS app. But to get the best fit translation for my words, I need to get synonyms of translated word like it present on Google Translate web page.
I have found some libraries which provide synonyms but all works with English words only.
Is there any Google API which we can use with google translate api to get synonyms of translated word in target language.
The Google Translation API service doesn't support the multiple translations of a word functionality. This feature is only available via the web interface at translate.google.com, as it is mentioned in the Google's official FAQs documentation.
Based on this, it seems that GCP doesn't offers a specific API alternative you can use to get synonyms; Therefore, I think you should try by using third-party software, such as Datamuse API or the libraries you mentioned before, to get the synonyms and then translate them by using the Google Translation API service as an available workaround.
In LUIS, we have text/synonym recommendation in the entity/phrase list generation. Do anyone have idea on the api that is used for the synonym recommendation. We wanted to integrate the cognitive service api to get the synonym of the input text in one of the client application but we could not get any relevant Microsoft service to attain this.
[I am unable to provide sample code because of the nature of the question]
Luis Text Analytics
TextAnaytics API
Thanks
Unfortunately, we don't have any API for synonym recommendation yet. You can request this as feature here.
Is there a direct API to call to search through conversations with a search term?
If no direct API, is there an API I can use inside a bot that will allow searching by a term?
There is currently no functionality for this, nor a firm ETA.
They hide this stuff.
On purpose.

I want to use GSA to serve search results from Google Groups.
I do a lot of research in the web but I did not found information about GSA and Google Groups. I understood that Google Groups use #! (Hashbang) in the URL and GSA doesn't support crawling AJAX applications.
I think that a solutions could be to use the Integrating with Google Apps method but on this, and other similar, article they talk about Google Sites and Google Docs and not about Google Groups.
Because to try this solution I have to involve various departments in the company I would like to know if someone used this method for that. Or if someone could give me some advices to achieve that.
Since there is no API nor any existing oob stuff on the GSA to crawl Google Groups, the best way is to use the Google Adaptor framework and create something on your own. It should be fairly easy tbh.
The major drawback of telesocial api is that it supports only US number. So what about the other country? Is there any alternative for it? Is there any other api which provide the social api calling like telesocial?
