I'm using a AWS Lambda function to merge PDF files stored on S3. In addition to that, I need now to create a PDF file (from HTML and CSS). I was trying to use wkhtmltopdf, but it seems that I would have to install it using apt-get install (which I don`t think I have access on AWS Lambda).
Any ideas on how can I do it?
Any suggestions for wkhtmltopdf replacements?

There are multiple projects on GitHub claiming to run wkhtmltopdf on Lambda. Here are a few.

Include the wkhtmltopdf binary and making sure it has execution permission(chmod 755). Add the binary path to your language runtime. e.g. with nodejs
process.env['PATH'] = process.env['PATH'] + ':' + process.env['LAMBDA_TASK_ROOT'] + '/bin/linux';
There is a specific download of wkhtmltopdf for use with AWS Lambda.
It is meant to be used as a separately uploaded Layer.
Upload the binary inside a folder of your project for example in a folder "binary /" so that at the time of lambda execution you can call it by reference
Important caveat: If you want to use wkhtmltopdf successfully on AWS Lambda, you will need to use v0.12.4.
It turns out that newer versions have some issues with dynamic libraries. If you drill into it, you'll find some .so files missing.

I am using gradle 6.8 and MarkLogic version is 10.0-5.2,
My XQuery code is in directory \ml-gradle\src\main\common. When I run the command mlLoadModules to load XQuery into the modules database it loads with default URI /common/test.xqy.
I want to add some prefix to the URIs e.g. /rsc/common/test.xqy. How can I achieve that?
Note: I don't want to create an extra folder in my source for prefix "rsc".
It's not supported, though you could write a custom Gradle task to change the URI to whatever you like.
Why do you not want to create an "rsc" folder above "common"? I think other developers would find it much more intuitive that "rsc/common/test.xqy" becomes "/rsc/common/test.xqy" when loaded, rather than "common/test.xqy" becomes "rsc/common/test.xqy", which begs the question - where is "rsc" coming from? And then that developer would need to understand what property / custom code is adding that "rsc".
I'm trying to create a CDK app that will deploy a pipeline-stack and a lambda-stack. Similar to the tutorial here. I'm trying to implement a basic CI/CD application that is triggered with every push to a Github Enterprise Repo.
I chose to use PythonFunction from (#aws-cdk/aws-lambda-python) instead of function from #aws-cdk/aws-lambda because PythonFunction builds the dependencies from requirements.txt. I have various lambdas that use different packages (like awswrangler, pandas, requests, etc.).
But, PythonFunction does not support CfnParametersCode (Where the code is passed through CDK instead of being read from an asset).
What other option do I have to pass my code from GithubEnterprise to
the PythonFunction?
If function from #aws-cdk/aws-lambda is the only option I have, how
can I include the packages from requirements.txt
This does seem like an option for #aws-cdl/aws-lambda, but how would I pass my code from Github? This example relates to building from asset code.

First of all I would recommend to take a look at pipelines.CdkPipeline which is able to deal with Assets. That means you can directly use lambda.Code.from_asset instead of overriding CfnParametersCode in the Pipeline.
Regarding your other question, you can deal with the requirements by installing them into your lambda folder during the build step with: pip install -r requirements.txt -t .
CfnParametersCode gives you the ability to upload your code from an S3 file.
You can do the same via lambda.Code.fromBucket.

I'm setting up some tests with JMeter, and I've seen that it's throwing out an error where trying to download embedded resources inside a web page, that have a path like the following:
www.mydomain.com/resources?getItem={someID}
The problem is that the characters need to be URL-encoded, so the following URL should follow this pattern:
www.mydomain.com/resources?getItem=%7BsomeID%7D
Now, how could instruct JMeter to replace these characters, when found on URLs from embedded resources in the web page? I've been looking at BeanShell PreProcessors, but I'm not sure how's the best way to handle this scenario.

Until bug is fixed, your option is to disable embedded download and use :
CSS/ JQuery Post Processor to extract URLs
Use ForEach Controller to iterate over urls
This will only simulate serial download not parallel one.

Unfortunately you can't do this in Codeigniter or native PHP for that matter, you'll need to use the system() function and process the Zip on your host machine.

I am using the selenium-client gem with Webrat and Cucumber to test a rails project. I have Cucumber set up pretty much as described here: https://github.com/cucumber/cucumber/wiki/Setting-up-Selenium
My problem is that Selenium is prevented from performing file uploads. Ideally I'd like to be able to replicate webrat's 'attach_file' method. I tried dodging the issue by using selenium-client's 'type' method to type the path to the required file, but this seems to fail.
Does anyone have a sugestion for a workaround using selenium-client (i.e. not the regular Selenium gem)?
The normal selenium can't do this because browser security prevents javascript from writing to input=file elements. This is a security feature so that your password file doesnt get uploaded to hackers if you go to a site thats been hacked.

I finally figured this out.
You need to be using firefox with the chrome backend, and you need to specifiy an absolute filepath.
I ended up creating a helper module to specify the filepath, and a "fixtures" folder containing test content. Here is a gist of the solution I came up with: http://gist.github.com/214185
Therefore it is totally possible to replicate Webrat's attach_file method!
