Access 2013 Frontend fails to load - backend linking Issue - ms-access-2013

I splitted the database, and then did some changes directly into backend. and then i tried to open front end, it failed to open and just asking for new/other files to open. what am i missing here ?
I gave up and opened my another backup access file and splitted it in frontend-backend. let say frontend name :DBstore7_fe and backend name:Dbstore7_be. link is ok and i can update data from front end. but i have to keep my old version of backend(Dbstore6_be) in the same folder. if i remove this old backend version, my frontend fails to open.
i tried another thing, i imported back all the tables to the front end, i.e - no more backend/linking. but still it is looking for Dbstore6_be. if this one there ....my database loads otherwise prompting for blank version.

You must run the "External Data", "Manage Linked Tables" wizard whenever you move or modify the backend file.

"Error: Token Mismatch" After adding a 2nd server to phpMyAdmin

I've been searching and trying to solve this problem for about 3 weeks. I'm stumped. Please help!
I added a second server to phpMyAdmin by adding the following lines to the end of my "config.inc.php" file in the installation directory.
$i++;
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['verbose'] = '<SERVER 2 NAME REDACTED>';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host'] = '<SERVER 2 ADDRESS REDACTED>.rds.amazonaws.com';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['connect_type'] = 'tcp';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['compress'] = false;
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['AllowNoPassword'] = false;
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['ssl'] = false;
After I added this server, we started getting the "Error: Token Mismatch" popup randomly when running some SQL queries or performing certain actions while logged in to server #2. We never got it on the first server we had set up for several years, and I matched all the server configuration settings to those of the first server. The issue is not 100% reproducible with SQL queries, but it does seem to be 100% reproducible when I try to add users to the database via phpMyAdmin's user creation page.
Steps:
log in (select server #2 in the "Server Choice" drop-down menu)
click "users" tab at top of page
click "add user" link
fill out the required fields and click "go"
At this point I always get the "Error: Token Mismatch" popup.
Things I've tried so far:
clear cache / cookies (I do this every time I change settings)
use different browser (tried Chrome, Firefox, and Safari)
change ";session.save_path" variable to “/tmp” in php.ini file
Do "chmod 1733" on the sessions save directory
Made sure there is free space available (19GB free)
After all this, we still get the error.
Software:
PHP: 5.3.29
Apache: 2.2.23 (Amazon)
SQL type: 10.1.23-MariaDB
Database client version: libmysql - 5.5.24
PHP extension: mysqli
phpMyAdmin: 4.2.2
Hardware:
phpMyadmin server hardware: Amazon EC2 m3.large
SQL database server hardware: db.m4.2xlarge
Any suggestions for places to look or things to try are greatly appreciated.
One thing that caught my eye is that you mention the ;session.save_path variable; the semicolon in front of it is a comment so for the directive to be recognized you'll have to remove the semicolon. Check the output of phpinfo.php to verify that the change was successful.
Other than that, it's tough to guess. You're using an old PHP and old phpMyAdmin version, so I'm not saying an upgrade will or won't fix the problem, but you really should upgrade.
One workaround would be to have two phpMyAdmin installations; you can have phpMyAdmin in two different folders, with each one pointing to a different MySQL server. It sounds like it was working fine with one server so if you do it this way, each instance will only have one server and hopefully you won't have the problem.

openx: can't upload banner after moving to new server

I went through the whole process in order to move openx. My banners are normally displayed and I have full access to administration. The only issue is that when trying to upload a banner, it isn't saved. When returning to the banner properties tab the file is missing. Can you help please? Thanks.
This issue may raised after migrate files in to new server then you may not change "webDir" value in your configuration file under "YourOpenX/var/yourdomainame.conf.php" file .
If above mentioned not working then problem should be in "www/images" folder permission.
check and put your comment here if you need any other help.

moving modx to new server - clear cache

I moved website to new server, domain stay the same, files structure stay the same, but path to public_html has beed changed. Database has been also moved.
I tried to clean cache, but i dont think I made it. This is error i get:
Could not find action file at: /home/account_name/domains/domain.co.uk/public_html/manager/controllers/default/welcome.php
account_name is different now.
I havent access to the old server, so I cant login and clear cache. I tried to do it using php script I found, but it didnt help.
Moving to new server documentation - there is welcome.php error and how to fix it, but since I haven't access to website from old server, I can't do it.
Also I can't login and clear cache in admin panel, because this message in when i wan get access to it.
I also change in db, in modx_workspaces->path from {core_path} to home/account_name/domains/domain.co.uk/publis_html/core, but didn't help.
How can i clear cache or if it's not the case, what should I do to make it work?
Update
I have change location in settings:
config.core.php
connectors/config.core.php
core/config/config.inc.php
manager/config.core.php
In .htaccess I couldn't find path to website, I didn't change anything.
I remove all content from core/cache/, except one file (.gitignore), and if I go to domain.co.uk/manager/ it's blank page, no content at all. And still can't log in.
Clear the cache on the new server manually VIA FTP or from a shell.
Change that modx_workspaces thing back
did you change all your settings in core/config/config.inc.php ?? if not do so, that is where you will set most of your paths & database credentials.
you have a backup? good!
Now upgrade to the same version of modx, that should fix all your path issues. [make sure you are not logged into the manager while trying to upgrade]
When moving the site to the new server rather watch two things:
the right paths into this files
/config.core.php
/core/config/config.inc.php
/connectors/config.core.php
/manager/config.core.php
the folder /core/cache/ is empty. They can be cleaned simply by removing the contents via ftp.
and correct the value in the database back to {core_path}

500 error when integrating multiple apps in one code base

I'm trying to set up an MVC application that will service several facebook applications for various clients. With help from Prabir's blog post I was able to set this up with v5.2.1 and it is working well, with one exception.
At first, I had only set up two "clients", one called DemoStore and the first client, ClientA. The application determines what client content and facebook settings to use based on the url. example canvasUrl: http://my_domain.com/client_name/
This works for ClientA, but for some reason when I try any DemoStore routes I get a 500 error. The error page points to an issue with the web.config.
Config Error:
Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type 'add' with unique key attribute 'name' set to 'facebookredirect.axd'
I am able to add additional clients with no problem, and changing DemoStore to something like "demo" while using the same facebook application settings works fine also.
Working calls:
http:// localhost:2888/ClientA/
http:// localhost:2888/ClientB/
http:// localhost:2888/Demo/
Failing call:
http:// localhost:2888/DemoStore/
I was thinking this might be an MVC issue, but the Config Error points to the facebookredirect handler. Why would the SDK try to add this value to the config during runtime, and only for this specific client?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I managed to figure out what went wrong here. Silly mistake..
After I had set up the application routes to require the client_name I changed the Project Url in the project properties to point to demostore by default. When I hit ctrl+S a dialog popped up that I promptly entered through without reading.
When I changed the Project Url, IIS Express created a new virtual directory for the project. This was the source of my problem. Why? I'm not sure, but once I removed the second site from my applicationhost.config I was able to access the DemoStore routes.
Moral of the story: read the VS dialog messages!

My Working Application MVC3 Razor Unexplainably stopped working :-( IIS 7

I have the following projects within my solution.
MyWebApplication.Data --> Here i interact with my Data Repository
MyWebApplication.Services --> Here i interact with the Data Layer
MyWebApplication.Web --> The UI which relies on the Service Layer
MyWebApplication.Tests --> Unit testing project
For MONTHS i have had NO problems with IIS in my local dev environment. Ready for a long weekend of programming but all day i have been getting 500 Server Errors when simply trying to resolve the Home page. Before I went to bed all was well, the entire day thereafter i could NOT even load the home/index view.
After looking at the logs it says continually MyWebApplication.Data.System (which is a class i created called System()) does not include Web. But no where in code is this true. Then i get another error of mismatching files in the Temp Directory.
Steps I have taken:
Deleted all temp files
Created a new repository in IIS and pointed URL there, No luck
Cleaned solution
Deleted all bin folders to have regenerated... No Luck
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Without the details of the error messages, one strategy may be to create a new MVC project and copy/paste the files over to it.
A few other common causes:
Are you referencing any 64-bit libraries but compiling the project as 32-bit (or vice-versa)? Try changing the "bitness" of your application.
If your application is 32-bit and is running on a 64-bit server, you need to enable running 32-bit apps in IIS. See http://exhibita.com/blog/post/2010/03/30/IIS-75-on-x64-with-32bit-applications.aspx
If all else fails, please post the exact error messages. If all it says is "HTTP 500: Internal Server Error", you should enable debug output or run your app from the server itself (actually using a web browser on the server), which will tell IIS it's "safe" to display full debug information. The debugging messages have actually been pretty useful in my experience.
Figured it out. In
MyWebApplication.Web project, within the Shared/Site.Master I added a imported a reference to my Data Layer. (i.e., <%# Import Namespace="MyWebApplication.Data" %>
I resolved by removing the static reference to my ShoppingCart class in the Data layer and just created an ActionResult to return the same and in the MasterPage (which currently holds the javsscript to allow the user to peek into their cart from anywhere in the site without a redirect to a specific page) used the Html.RenderAction() and just returned Content(shoppingCartString).
Guess I have learned that within the Site.Master page it is complied differently than every other page in an MVC application. I can positively say this because in other pages I am doing exactly as I attempted to do here without any issues. Maybe its the build process?
Anyhow, problem solved and hopefully it can help someone else too.
