How to use spring data in spring mvc with annotation configuration

How to use spring data in spring mvc with annotation configuration - spring

I use spring data jpa with spring mvc in my project. Nonetheless, I always get the error. If I comment JpaConfig.java, my application run well.
I do not know why? May you help me please:

Could you try to add #Repository to your UserRepository-interface?

You should use #Entity and #Table annotations in your User class. Also I think BaseEntity is your super class for entities so you can use #MappedSuperclass annotation in your Base entity class.

I do not know why but when I change libraraies version. It worked.

I am a newbie with Spring MVC and have been trying with a simple Integration test while using Spring Test context framework. The main issue is that a number of imports namely org.springframework.test.context.ContextConfiguration, org.springframework.test.context.junit4.SpringJUnit4ClassRunner and org.springframework.test.context.web.WebAppConfiguration cannot be resolved. I tried to add exclusions, for xml-apis but it still does not work I do not know what else to remove what else to add I am in a loop I try several things but I cannot reach the solution, mostly it always worked with Java-7 but currently it is making these changes in Java-11 and I can't get past this point because the only thing that causes me problems is: javax.xml.namespace.QName The package javax.xml.namespace is accessible from more than one module:, java.xml

In your test fixture setUp hook, you are initializing the fileService with a mock object:
fileService = Mockito.mock(FileServiceImpl.class);
Then you are trying to save your file using the mocked object:
fileService.storeFileGeneral(file);
Since the fileService is nothing but a mock, it will do nothing on #storeFileGeneral call and no file will be saved as you are expecting.
Later on, you are trying to read back the persisted file to asset that it has been created using the right id, while all you get is a null reference:

The short answer would be to review your test fixture since it does not reflect an integration-test since you are testing your FileService behavior.

I'm trying to write a DAO test using Spring. When I run the test, it errors out with the following stack trace below. I don't know why I am getting an error when I believe I am including the proper version of JUnit.

What I don't understand is that in my pom.xml, I am including JUnit 4.9 (I checked the resolved dependency for JUnit, and it also indicates 4.9):

Your jUnit version is 4.9. You need to update it to 4.12 or above like this:

Could you try to add #Repository to your UserRepository-interface?

You should use #Entity and #Table annotations in your User class. Also I think BaseEntity is your super class for entities so you can use #MappedSuperclass annotation in your Base entity class.

You're not scanning the package where entity is present. The following change should resolve the problem. private static final String PROPERTY_NAME_ENTITYMANAGER_PACKAGES_TO_SCAN = "com.example.entity";
