Application is registered and authorized on Github and secret/client strings are provided.
I placed .drone.yml file into my project repository:

Unable to run gradle tests using gitlab and docker-compose

I want to run tests using Gradle after docker-compose up (Postgres DB + Spring-Boot app). All flow must be running inside the Gitlab merge request step. The problem is when I was running my test using the script part in gitlab-ci file. Important, in such a situation, we are in the correct directory where GitLab got my project. Part of gitlab-ci file:

But here I can't call http://localhost:8080 -> connection refused. I try put 0.0.0.0 or 172.17.0.3 or docker.host... etc insite tests config, but it didn't work.
So, I made insite docker-compose another container where I try to run my test using the entry point command. To do that, I must have the current GitLab directory, but can't mount them.

but in such a situation my working_dir - /app - is empty. Can someone assist with that?

I don't know why the docker-compose command fails

After creation, when I run docker-compose up -d in the project root, mysql succeeds, but the app project returns an error.

Please check the code and errors, bootrun fails and I don't know exactly where to fix it.
I am practicing how to set up the server simply using docker-compose. I just need to open the server using docker-compose with simple api code in Spring Boot, but I am unable to proceed in the above situation.
First of all, the question arose because of my carelessness.
It occurred because the openjdk version was incorrect. When I built the app image after changing the app image to openjdk17, it worked normally. You must match the jdk image to the java version you selected when creating the spring-boot project

Jenkins doesn't notify after running docker compose up

I am using Jenkins to run my unit tests. Also, I am using docker-compose to link the spring boot and its Postgres database. Each time the Jenkins file is executed during a pull request or commit, I use the compose stack and to check that the tests have been performed correctly.
If the test fails then container aborted and Jenkins notifies but in a positive scenario when the spring boot application starts Jenkins doesn't notify and sticks.

This is the stage for running docker compose and start spring boot and run the test :

After Jenkins reach to 'docker-compose up --build --exit-code-from app' and the spring boot starts it sticks in the Test stage.
It's only a guess, but is the restart: always making the container restart. Assuming some of your tests are failing?
Its a good idea to add a post block to do docker-compose down to avoid zombie container

Docker deployment works with MacOs but not with Ubuntu 16.04

I'm trying to dockerise my laravel app: https://github.com/xoco70/kendozone/tree/docker-local
My dev env is working, now I am working on a deployable app in local environment.
In MacOs, Everything is ok.
I build it with:
docker build . -f app.dockerfile.local -t kendozone:local-1.0.0
And run it with
docker-compose -f docker-compose-local.yml up --force-recreate
The problem is with npm run dev with is a webpack build command
It will just compile Sass, combine Js and CSS, and copy it to /var/www/public folder
But when I run my app in ubuntu, I can access login page but it seems to load without any css / js.
With MacOs, I can see them with no problem....

Any Idea ???
One way to fix this is to make node available in your docker base image, and then actually run npm install and npm run production to build a production ready image of your application.

Missing Gemfile when using Docker on Heroku

I am trying out the docker plugin for Heroku, just locally to start with. When I run docker-compose up web I get the following error:
