In CKEditor, I have a textfield (given by the Forms plugin).
How can I get its value? Also, how can I enumerate all the textfields?
If you using jquery:
$('textarea.CKEditorClass').each(function() {
//enumerate
});
CKEditorClass is class of element textfields
or just get quantity
$('textarea.CKEditorClass').length
For get content
CKEDITOR.instances[id].getData();
id is id of element textfield

I am completely new to Nativescript, I am trying to add class Name dynamically to a gridlayout on tap.
I am not using Angular 2.
How to access the grid layout element and add class name to the same.
All that you need to do is search for the desired element in the UI tree for example by accessing the parent of the Button or by setting an id to the element and using the .getViewById() method of the root of the Page or the Page itself.
Finally in order to set the css class of that View simply set its className property, something like this:
export function onChangeCssClassButtonTap(args) {
var button = args.object as Button;
var parentGridLayout = button.parent as StackLayout;
parentGridLayout.className = "myGridCssClassName";
}

i am using material UI dropdown component and trying to run a callback function only when user fills all the form and submits the form. On the call back function i intend to collect all the form field and generate url to call to api.
My problem is that i can not use onChange as stated solution in #560 as i want to collect all the detail only when user clicks the submit button. It is also weird that at the moment, i am able to get value of all the other form element like slider, textfield which uses material-ui but only dropdown does not seem to be working.
My call back function:
handleFilter: function(event){
event.preventDefault();
var location = this.refs.location.getValue();
var posted_date = this.refs.posted_date.getValue();
var radius = this.refs.distance.getValue();
var salary = this.refs.salary.getValue();
var jobtype = this.refs.jobtype.getValue();
console.log(jobtype);
}
In the above function "location, posted_date, radius, salary" returns value but "jobtype" which happens to be dropdown does not seem to return any value. It returns this error in console:
"Uncaught TypeError: this.refs.jobtype.getValue is not a function"
Here is my dropdown component :
<DropDownMenu menuItems={menuItems} ref="jobtype" />
May not be the right way but i figured out that
console.log(this.refs.jobtype) (jobtype is the refs value of dropdown in my case)
was giving the following result.
R…s.c…s.Constructor {props: Object, context: Object, state: Object, refs: Object, _reactInternalInstance: ReactCompositeComponentWrapper}
Inpecting it i found value of payload index (index number of selected item) inside state object within "selectedIndex" property. I used following code to access the selected index:
var jobtype = this.refs.jobtype.state.selectedIndex;
If there is a better way to do this please suggest.
I have a Kendo UI grid which uses a dropdown as the editor for a field. I'm having problems getting the dropdown to properly bind to the viewModel (at least I think that is the issue). If I make a selection from the dropdown then add a new row or navigate from the row I am on, the field shows [object Object]. Now if I go back to the row and make a different selection and navigate to a different row, it behaves like it should, showing the selection I made. Here is a js bin showing the behavior.
The problem is SuggestedVendor type is string but when you click Add New Line Item link to add new item you set some default value Id: 1, Position: 1 and SuggestedVendor : null but it should empty string like SuggestedVendor : ''
dataSource.add({ Id: 1, SuggestedVendor: (viewModel.suggestedVendor === null) ? '' /* instead of null*/ : viewModel.suggestedVendor.SuggestedVendor, Position:1 });
Working demo
Note:
You can set your default value during datasource field declaration, for more details demo for custom editing. In this way you don't need manually handle $(".k-grid-custom-create").on("click", function (e) {...})
I am using kendo ui grid to display data. I want to set title for the grid.Is there any way to set it.
Also I want to set some additional/custom property for grid which will help to identify the grid uniquely. Any custom property I can set to grid so I can get its value when required.
So in case if there are more instances on grid this will help.
Please suggest on this.
Iterating through all your tables can be done using:
$.each($(".k-grid"), function (idx, grid) {
// Do whatever you want to do with "grid"
...
});
If you want to add a title, might be something like:
$.each($(".k-grid"), function (idx, grid) {
$(grid).data("kendoGrid").wrapper.prepend('<div class="k-grid-header"><table><thead><tr><th class="k-header">Title</th></tr></thead></table></div>');
});
For setting a click event to the HTML img elements, you can do:
$("tr", ".k-grid").on("click", "img:first", function () {
// Here "this" is the "img" on which you clicked, finding the grid is:
var grid = $(this).closest(".k-grid").data("kendoGrid");
console.log("grid", grid);
// If you want to access the "id"
console.log("id", grid.element.attr("id"));
});
Once you click on the first image of each row what I do in the event handler is finding the closest HTML element with k-grid class (the grid): this is the HTML containing the grid.
If you want to get Kendo UI grid element the you need to use data("kendoGrid").
Simple and elegant.
In this JSFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/OnaBai/2qpT3/2/, if you click on "Add Titles" button you add a title to each table and if you click on "Add Handlers" and then in an image, you will get an alert with the id of the table that the image belongs to.
EDIT: If you want to iterate on every image that is in the first column, of every KendoUI grid on your document, you should do:
$.each($("td:first > img", ".k-grid table tbody > tr"), function (idx, elem) {
// "elem" is the image
console.log(idx, elem);
// associate event
$(elem).on("click", fnHandler);
});
I prefer to change the title like this:
$("#grid th[data-field=Field]").html("Title");
I have added a rad combobox to a page and need to be able to get the selected value from it. I can see below the html element a hidden field called 'mycontrol_ClientState' I take it this is where I am meant to retrieve the value from however I dont know how to.
Does anyone have an example of getting the value out clientside?
Use the get_value() JavaScript method:
var combobox = $find("<%= RadComboBox1.ClientID %>");
var value = combobox.get_value();
