Genymotion stuck on license agreement window - genymotion

I can't run the program, I've re-installed it multiple times and where the license agreement window should appear, there's this black screen every time:
If I close it, the program closes, so there's no way for me to use it at all. Don't know how to fix this!

You can try a simple workaround:
When on the black window, make sure the window has focus, then:
Press TAB twice
Press SPACE
Press TAB twice
Press SPACE
This should click on the checkbox to accept the EULA then click on the validate button
(be aware that legally you just accepted an EULA without reading it...)
Let me know if it works :-)

I figured out, eventually, that I was having troubles with the video drivers, since my computer is new and the SO had been installed recently.
I reinstalled these drivers, rebooted, and the Genymotion installation went fine from there.

Debugview application not displaying properly

Good day,
I'm currently experiencing a weird phenomena, this morning as I open the dbgview application an error message popped out(kernel related), couldn't remember much about the details.
Although the dbgview was showing at the task bar but as I clicked on it, it will jump out to no where.
It was as if I have 2nd monitor and it jump out to other screen.
I checked with 2nd monitor and it was not there..
I tried to install the latest version.
System recovery back to few days before which was still in working condition. But it doesn't help.
Hope someone here could show me some clue.

I discovered it might not related to debugview this app. As I opened up task bar and select the debugview application and maximize the window size it is showing up. However as long as I click restore button at the right top corner of the app it flew out to the universe again....
Thank you
DbgView remembers its last position, so what likely happened is that you disconnected a monitor while DbgView was running on it, or maybe you accidentally dragged DbgView offscreen, and now it opens in a position that's no longer visible. Try either of the following.
With DbgView running, Alt-TAB to it then press Alt-Space, M (which opens the system menu and selects Move). While the "move" cursor is showing, use the arrow keys to bring the window back onto the active screen.
With DbgView closed, run regedit, navigate to HKCU\Software\Sysinternals\DbgView and delete (or rename) the Settings value, then run DbgView again. Since it no longer finds the old saved position in the registry, it will now open in the default position on the active monitor.
Try this:
start dbgview
hold the left 'Windows key'
while still holding the windo

Stop Firefox's Pop-ups from stealing focus

My job is working on a website using Forefox, that website will promt a pop-up every 1 minute to give me a code. When the pop-up window appears, it'll display on top of all other windows and steals the focus. It's so annoying.
When i'm writing Word/Excel it causes mistyping, and that pop-up will minimize some full-screen application like Video Player/Games.
I've tried:
-Set working windows always on top - when i work with 5-10 programs a time it will be more annoyed.
-Change dom.disable_window_flip and browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground - NOT working.
I'm not sure if this problem come from Firefox or Windows's default setting for a new window pop-up.
Could anyone give me a solution for this case?
Thanks in advance

PhpStorm terminal jumps from external monitor to default on focus, mac os x

I have 2 monitors: my notebook monitor, and primary big dell monitor. PhpStorm 9.02 and MacOS X 10.10.5.
When I work at PhpStorm, I move my terminal window to secondary notebook display, and when I focus PhpStorm or terminal, terminal jumps to primary monitor. When I work with 1 tab of terminal everything looks fine after switching on Pinned mode and Floating mode at terminal settings. But today I open 3 tabs, and terminal starts jumps again.
It's very annoying when you often switch between browser and PhpStorm.
Do somebody have the same problem and fix for it?
Known bug, please vote for IDEA-116096.
See also the corresponding JDK issue:
http://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8069154
Please look #lena answer and vote for issue at intellij.
I found solution thats help me to avoid terminal window jumping:
Create new tabs in terminal.
Drag it to secondary display, so they become separate window.
Close main terminal window.
Child tabs don't jumps between displays.
I solved this by changing a setting in mission control.
Just uncheck the 'Displays have separate spaces' option.
Go to System Preferences.
Click on Mission Control.
Uncheck the box marked Displays have separate spaces.
Log out an login in again.

How to solve XCode swipe gesture to go to previous / next file freeze editor?

Since this morning I'm facing a really annoying bug in XCode 5 on Mavericks :
I'm heavily used to swipe from left to right with two fingers on the MacBook trackpad to go to the XCode editor previous / next files.
BUT, now, doing this totally freeze the editor after having just moved for something like 5 px.
After that I have to close XCode and reopen it to make the editor work again.
Pressing the previous / next button works wel since it doesn't trigger this buggy animation.
Did anyone had this problem before or has any clue to solve it ?
In fact this problem is affecting other swipe gesture like the previous / next swipe in Safari.
I found a way to fix this on Apple Support Forum, by resetting the NVRAM.
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: cmd ⌘alt ⌥PR. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in next step.
Turn on the computer and immediately press and hold the cmd ⌘alt ⌥PR keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
When your Mac finishes starting up, you might want to open System Preferences and adjust settings that have been reset, such as sound volume, display resolution, startup disk selection, or time zone.

For me, in Xcode 8.3.3 and Xcode 9, it started working after
Go to the system preferences
Go to Trackpad
Select and deselect "Tap to click"

Instruments 4.1 unresponsive to projects launched from Xcode 4.1 until pressing Cmd-Tab

If I open Instruments and select a standard application (e.g. Mail or MS Word) it has no issue.
If I am in Xcode and I go to Product > Profile (or press Cmd + I), it launches Instruments, allows me to select a template, and loads the standard screen. Then the downward arrow starts tracing to the right as it should, and the iOS simulator launches the program. However, nothing is plotted in Instruments. It shows no changes to anything no matter what the app is doing. I can't click anything in Instruments: no menu's, can't stop recording, can't open tabs, etc.
I randomly discovered that if I hit Cmd + Tab, Instruments will start behaving normally. This seems really strange to me. Either it's a bug or it's a hole in my knowledge about how to operate Instruments.
Strange bug is fixed in XCode 4.2!
The problem was the hidden password dialog, so sometime it works and sometimes not.
One of possible solutions was:
Run Instruments
Cmd Tab to Xcode covering the instruments. Cycle and hide messages until password dialog is found.
Close Xcode.
PS: I know it is a few years to late for the answer, I was just looking for unanswered questions. Just check as answered - > it's good for both of us. )
