Running xampp and utserver simultaneously - xampp

I recently installed xampp on my ubuntu 16.04. But it wasn't working properly. ProFTPD failure was occurring.Today I started the utserver and found that it wasn't working properly. I had used it previously and it used to work perfectly. I thought there might be some port error due to xampp and I decided to uninstall it. After uninstalling xampp utserver was running perfectly again. My question is: Was it because of xampp that I couldn't use u torrent.
If yes can someone suggest a way to run both applications simultaneously without errors?

Installing Jenkins on MAC OS X El Capitan

This is probably a stupid question but I can't get Jenkins installed on my MAC. I've searched the web and tried various different tutorials but it does not seem to work for me. Moreover it seems that nobody experiences the same problem. I've downloaded the Jenkins Installer from here. After running the installation process, the script tries to connect to http://localhost:8080 but I get the error message that the browser cannot connect to the server. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!
And again the solution was quite simple. The connection problem arises when you either don't or you have Java < 1.7 installed. What I did:
deleted my previous Jenkins installation by running /Library/Application\ Support/Jenkins/Uninstall.command
installed JDK 8 (OS X 64bit) from here
reinstalled MAC Jenkins from here
Works fine!

Mupx setup hangs on Installing Docker

The installer hangs when I use mupx setup on the first thing in the TaskList, Installing Docker. I can't get the DEBUG=* mupx setup to work because DEBUG is not recognized as an internal or external command.
Server is through Linode, and the OS is Ubuntu 16.04. I'm running Windows 8.1. My project works fine on my end but I can't figure out mupx enough to get it over. Docker is working fine on my computer as well as on my server from what I can tell.
How can I get the DEBUG to work (either a setting or a download)? Or is this a common issue someone can walk me through?
Did you run "mupx setup" first? That will install Docker and setup a new container on the remote server you entered into your local mup.json file

Uninstall Xampp (Windows 7)

I have some problems to access phpMyAdmin (Access denied) so I think that my XAMPP was not installed correctly. I want to uninstall this programm but I don't know how. I don't find the uninstall file in my C:/xampp, I don't find the programm in CCleaner, and I don't find the programm in the uninstall panel of Windows. It seems that the programm doesn't exist but I can run it and access localhost. So I don't know what to do, please help !
According to Xamp documentation :
If you installed XAMPP using the installer version, please use the Uninstaller. The Uninstaller will delete all XAMPP entries from your registry and it will uninstall some installed services included with XAMPP. We highly recommend that you use the Uninstall program for removing XAMPP installations from the Installer version. Please backup all the data you want to keep before uninstalling XAMPP.
If you installed XAMPP using the ZIP and 7zip versions, shut down all XAMPP servers and exit all panels. If you installed any services, uninstall and shut them down too. Now simply delete the entire folder where XAMPP is installed. There are no registry entries and no environment variables to clean up.
Hope it helps! :)
