Last week during the Google I/O '17, Google annonced that Google Assistant will soon be available in other countries (like France, Germany, Japan...)
I'm a french developer and I want to develop a new Action for Google Assistant.
Currently it's only possible to do it in English but does somebody know if an internationalization system will be available or if I will have to develop a copy of my current English agent and translate it on french when Google Assistant will be available for french people ?
If an internationalization system is created, will it be available only on API.ai, only on Actions SDK or on both ?
Thanks in advance :)
EDIT: Google Assistant is currently deploy to French user (29/05/2017), an internationalization system is now really needed.
[Update after 10/04 Google conference]
Api.ai now supports multi-language agents:
https://api.ai/docs/multi-language
And Actions on Google also supports multi language: in the App Information screen, you can use the arrow near "English" and click on "Add language".
More supported languages are coming soon...

I'm working on my own voice assistant based on the Google Assistant SDK. Now I'm wondering if it's possible to also communicate with custom Google Actions. (such as games and other actions that are not built-in to the SDK itself)
Thanks in advance!
Yes, when using the Assistant SDK, you have access to a fully functioning Assistant - including Actions.
I live in Poland, where Google Assistant isn't allowed (operated) and I would like to write a simple script, which allow me to say: "Ok, google, muzyka stop". Next device will stop music play. Is it possible to write this in dialogflow or other system?
When creating apps for the Google Assistant I'd recommend staying away from use cases already covered by the Google Assistant. In this case controlling music is already covered by the Google Assistant and will already work with most music streaming providers.
If you'd like to add the Google Assistant to your device and add the option to control your device, a conversational building tool like Dialogflow is probably not the best tool. You may want to consider adding the Google Assistant and voice controls to you device use the Google Assistant SDK.
Hi I'm trying to develop an application that will talk to the user via text to speech. I have used the tutorials available on Xamarin website and the plugin created by James Montemagno and I can output English text to speech but whenever I ask the app to say Arabic words it goes silent.
Is Arabic TTS supported on Xamarin in either Forms, Android, or iOS?
Thanks
After too many searches I found that android devices not supporting Arabic TTS and you have to use paid third party to do that.
im new to google apis and want to know if one one such exists for Ad Preview & Diagnosis tool.
https://adwords.google.com/apt/AdPreview?__u=1000000000&__c=1000000000
User will enter the search terms & other additional options and click on Preview. This will show list of links and user wants to know the position of a particular website in a page.
For eg: search for Guitar lessons (United States), youtube.com is in position 1 of page 1.
I want to automate this process using Asp.net C#, using the API.
Any other pointers are much appreciated. Thank you.
No, there is no such API. Also, in October 2015 (next month as I write this) anonymous access to the Ad Preview Tool will no longer be supported; you will need to log in with an AdWords account to use the tool.
The setting "Enable Individual Install" has recently been added in a Google Apps Markeptplace configuration, but I was not able to find its meaning. Does anyone has an idea ?
Thanks
I got an email from a google representative today with the following:
We’re excited to let you know that you will soon be able to enable anyone within an organization to install your app directly from the Google Apps Marketplace. To prepare for this new feature, you should choose whether to enable or disable individual user installs for your app.
Please follow these instructions to enable individual user installs:
Navigate to your Google Developer Console.
Select your Google Apps Marketplace project.
Click APIs under the APIs & auth section.
Click the gear icon next to Google Apps Marketplace SDK.
Check Enable Individual Install
Click Save changes.
This feature is only available for apps in Google Apps Marketplace that use OAuth 2.0. To learn how to upgrade your OAuth 1.0 app to OAuth 2.0, please see these upgrade instructions. Please also note, only individual users of Google Apps for Business, Google Apps for Education, and Google Apps for Government will be able to install your app.
This feature was announced today in a blog post. To quote:
Now, any Google Apps user can install these applications by logging into Google Apps, clicking the app launcher icon , clicking More, and then clicking More from Apps Marketplace.
