I have Visual Studio 2013 and want to install SDK for it.
Can't add 2015 SDK because it is part of VS 2015 installation, I couldn't find a stand alone installation.
2013 SDK was removed from the official site.
It is also not contained in my installation package for VS.
Thanks
Apart from excellent answer by Sara Liu - MSFT, I was able to find a Visual Studio 2013 SDK - Microsoft Go! download page from google. The direct link was go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9832352 and it downloaded a +13Mb vssdk_full.exe
Please navigate to this: Download older versions of VS and click the ‘Join now for free’ to sign in with your Microsoft account, if you are not a subscriber. Then confirm to join the VS Dev Essential if you have not joined before. Click ‘Downloads’ and search with the keyword ‘Visual Studio 2013 SDK’, you will get the download link as below:

I installed the new Visual Studio 2019, but it is much slower (at least in my machine) than the 2017 version, and working is getting very frustrating. I want to get back but I can't find where to download the previous version.
I tried using this URL: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/, but it doesn't work. I get the following message "Sorry, we couldn't find any downloads for you."
Thanks.
The Microsoft site can be induced to give up different versions.
See:
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/thank-you-downloading-visual-studio/?sku=Community&rel=15
Change the '15' to 16, and 17 and see what you get.
I figured out how to do it. I post the solution in case someone else has the same problem.
You just need to access https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/ and If you get the same message than me, just join to the Visual Studio Dev Essentials (in the same page is a link to do it), it is free, and then you can download older versions of Visual Studio.
Regards,
The URL https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/ works well for me. I subscribed to the free Visual Studio Dev Essentials and got access to the following versions:
2017
2015
2013
2012
2010
As of today (5th Jan 2023), the following link invokes installation the 2017 Community Version:
https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/thank-you-downloading-visual-studio/?sku=Community&rel=15
The install launcher you can download from TechSpot still works fine.
No strings attached.
I was having the same issue (even with Dev essentials and I didn´t have the option to download vs 2017 community, but 2017 professional instead), then I finally tried downloading the professional version (Then I just cancelled at the moment it asks which components) and suddenly it unlocks the 2017 community install in the visual studio installer hub.
As of 27 July 2022 if you have Visual Studio 2019 or 2022 installed you can use the VS installer to download and install in parallel any version of VS 2017.
I have a Resharper 9x license and it is only compatible up to MS VS Community 2015 edition. I tried to download the 2015 version from Microsoft but their website stubbornly wants me to have 2017, only. Can someone please provide me a url to the 2015 edition? Or, explain how to navigate Microsoft's site to obtain the 2015 edition?
Update on solution
1) vs_community.exe is the download filename for any version, 2015, 2017, etc. You will not know which version it is until you click the .exe. You will then see the version in the title of the installer.
2) There is a url trick to get the version that you want.
https://www.visualstudio.com/thank-you-downloading-visual-studio/?sku=Community&rel=15
...change the rel=15 to rel=17 etc
Or use the links provided in the answer below
You can use these links to download Visual Studio 2015
Community Edition:

And for anyone in the future who might be looking for the other editions here are the links for them as well:
Professional Edition:

Enterprise Edition:

The "official" way to get the vs2015 is to go to https://my.visualstudio.com/ ; join the " Visual Studio Dev Essentials" and then search the relevant file to download https://my.visualstudio.com/Downloads?q=Visual%20Studio%202015%20with%20Update%203
I am trying to install AWS toolkit on MS Visual Studio 2017 (Community Edition) using the link here, but I can't find AWS Explorer in VIEW menu of VS:
Tried a couple of workarounds, such as in this thread, but could not find a solution. Tried reinstalling the AWS toolkit and Visual studio as well.
Additional Info: I have installed Visual Studio in D drive, while the AWS Toolkit is installed in the default directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\AWS SDK for .NET
You can download a preview version of the toolkit for Visual Studio 2017. It works as a charm in the released Community Edition. Use this link to get it: Download AWS SDK extension to VS 2017
This is an VS extension, and it will link to - as Collin M. Barrett so rightly pointed out - to the actual AWS SDK for Net (Visual Studio).
The toolkit is actually here: https://aws.amazon.com/visualstudio/ (What you are linking to is the SDK.) And, I don't think they have a release available for Visual Studio 2017 yet, unfortunately.
Go to tool -> Extension and Updates -> Just Enable the AWS tool kit if it is installed
I'm trying to request a code review from another developer on a project hosted in Visual Studio Online using git.
I'm using Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition, which according to this Microsoft comparison page, supports code review (Under the "Collaboration Tools" heading).
Is this an option I need to turn on? I've looked in the Team Explorer panel, under the Project section and all I see is "Changes", "Branches", "Sync" and "Settings". From the videos I've watched, I expected to see "My Work" in that section too.
I had this problem also. Apparently My Work is only available in certain versions of Visual Studio:
My Work appears only when you have installed Visual Studio Premium or Visual Studio Ultimate.
Also, it won't show up for Git. Only for Team Foundation VC.
MSDN: Work in Team Explorer
Edit: I missed the link in the question, but looks like MS documentation might not be correct (surprise, surprise!) on one or the other. From that link it looks like there is not even a Premium or Ultimate version of 2015 offered. Very confusing. I'm guessing the page I referenced is not correct, even though it says it's for 2015. So I'd assume it's only available in Enterprise version, since in my own case, it did not show up in the Professional version.
i have visual studio 2013 installed and i download the update 4 package of 5.8gb but i am getting installation error "KB2829760LP The digital signature of the object did not verify." so i thought i should download the fresh visual studio 2013 package rather than trying to update what i currently have. so i searched over the internet and cant find out exactly if the current visual studio 2013 download package that is available on visualstudio.com includes the recently released update 4. what i am trying to ask is, if i download fresh vs2013 installation package from visualstudio.com will i still need to do update 4 seperately or it is already updated?
thanks
It is not clear where do you got your image from (visualstudio.com or from your MSDN subscription).
Nevertheless, both sites contain image downloads for Visual Studio including Update 4. You can see it directly on the visualstudio.com download page or when you are in the download area of your MSDN subscription.
