I am new to spring boot and is trying to make actuator work in my spring webmvc without #SpringBootApplication. But could not access the health endpoint or any endpoints. I keep on getting a 404 error. What am i missing ?

I was looking for a solution to the issue and came to the conclusion that problem in my pom.xml file, so I added dependencies "tomcat-embed-core" and "spring-security-config". But after this I have another errors:
It can't anymore resolve "antMatchers" (so I changed it to "requestMatchers" and it seemed to work)
Parameter 0 of method securityFilterChain in com.tovito.backend.security.WebSecurity required a bean of type 'org.springframework.security.config.annotation.web.builders.HttpSecurity' that could not be found.
Is anyone faced the same problem? I will be grateful for any advise.

Spring-security 6 goes with spring-boot 3.
For boot 2.x, use spring-security 5.
antMatchers have been renamed to requestMatchers in spring-security 6.
The best solution in your case might be upgrading to boot 3 instead of downgrading spring-security.
Okay, so I changed the version from 5.7.4 to 6.0.0 and everything started working properly again:)

I cannot invoke my html views in embedded Tomcat / Intellij - Springboot with Thymeleaf

I was working in a projet in intellij using: Spring-boot, maven and thymeleaf. At first I was running it as a Java application and it worked perfectly, but when I wanted to deploy it in a local Tomcat server or embedded Tomcat it can't resolve my html pages. I get the 404 not found message each time.
I tried to maven deploy in the tomcat manager, and them in the embedded tomcat in intellij and always the same problem.
I tried created a thymeleaf configuration file and always the same problem.

Now when I am trying to connect without Spring Security enabled, It is working but when Spring boot Security is enable, I am not able to make handshake.
I tried reading documentations and tried to search on internet for long, but I didn't get proper solutions.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/spark_project/guava/cache/CacheLoader

When i am trying to execute my kafka spark project.
I am getting below error:

2) Removed google.guava jarfile from the build path in eclipse and added again as external jar.
But below two methods have not helped in my case.
Kindly someone help me in resolving this issue.Thanks in advance
You need to use same scala version in your dependencies. Please, try change spark-streaming-kafka_2.10 to spark-streaming-kafka_2.11:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.spark</groupId>
<artifactId>spark-streaming-kafka_2.11</artifactId>
<version>1.6.3</version>
</dependency>
And use same spark version. For example 1.6.3:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.spark</groupId>
<artifactId>spark-network-common_2.11</artifactId>
<version>1.6.3</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.spark</groupId>
<artifactId>spark-streaming-kafka_2.10</artifactId>
<version>1.6.3</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.spark</groupId>
<artifactId>spark-core_2.11</artifactId>
<version>1.6.3</version>
</dependency>

Controller registration failed Spring 4 using annotations with Zero xml configuration

I am trying to use Spring 4 with annotations(Zero xml configuration), Maven and IntelliJ, and at the end when I try to run the project, I realize that the controllers are not registered.
However, when I include index.jsp in root folder of views (/webapp) it is easily recognised. But a call for controller fails. Any suggestions to overcome this issue would be highly welcome.
Here is my configuration class:
package com.megasystem.plano.config;
import org.springframework.context.MessageSource;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.Bean;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.ComponentScan;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.Configuration;
import org.springframework.context.support.ResourceBundleMessageSource;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.config.annotation.EnableWebMvc;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.view.InternalResourceViewResolver;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.view.JstlView;
#EnableWebMvc
#Configuration
#ComponentScan({"com.megasystem.plano.web"})
public class PlanoConfig {
#Bean
public InternalResourceViewResolver viewResolver() {
InternalResourceViewResolver viewResolver = new InternalResourceViewResolver();
viewResolver.setViewClass(JstlView.class);
viewResolver.setPrefix("/WEB-INF/pages/");
viewResolver.setSuffix(".jsp");
return viewResolver;
}
#Bean
public MessageSource messageSource() {
ResourceBundleMessageSource messageSource = new ResourceBundleMessageSource();
messageSource.setBasename("messages");
return messageSource;
}
}
And here is my WEB Initializer:
package com.megasystem.plano.config;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.support.AbstractAnnotationConfigDispatcherServletInitializer;
public class SpringWebAppInitializer extends AbstractAnnotationConfigDispatcherServletInitializer {
#Override
protected Class<?>[] getRootConfigClasses() {
return new Class[] { PlanoConfig.class };
}
#Override
protected Class<?>[] getServletConfigClasses() {
return null;
}
#Override
protected String[] getServletMappings() {
return new String[] { "/" };
}
}
Here is my controller:
package com.megasystem.plano.web;
import com.megasystem.plano.bo.EmployeeBo;
import com.megasystem.plano.models.Employee;
import org.springframework.beans.factory.annotation.Autowired;
import org.springframework.context.annotation.ComponentScan;
import org.springframework.stereotype.Controller;
import org.springframework.ui.ModelMap;
import org.springframework.validation.BindingResult;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.PathVariable;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.RequestMapping;
import org.springframework.web.bind.annotation.RequestMethod;
import org.springframework.web.servlet.config.annotation.EnableWebMvc;
import javax.validation.Valid;
import java.util.List;
#Controller
#EnableWebMvc
#ComponentScan("com.megasystem.plano.web")
public class EmployeeController {
#Autowired
EmployeeBo employeeBo;
/*
* This method will list all existing employees.
*/
#RequestMapping(value = { "/", "/list**" }, method = RequestMethod.GET)
public String listEmployees(ModelMap model) {
List<Employee> employees = employeeBo.listEmployees();
model.addAttribute("employees", employees);
return "all";
}
}
And my POM file:
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0"
