I need to restart a windows pc when it losses internet connection for more than 2 minutes. Is there a way to do that? I have no idea what should I do. Any help?
Thanks a lot.

You could register a Windows task to check internet connection "On an event". After that it's possible get an action like restart, shutdown, etc. Go to Panel Control => System Tools and then make some like this:
Windows Task

It takes up lot of resources from CPU. however, it disappear after I open the task manager for a few seconds.
Anyone has knowledge of what it is.

In Windows 7, I'm using a proxy server to browse the internet. It just routes http packets. I need to keep the Windows time accurate and synced with global time servers.
What's my best solution?
Thanks
One option specifically for Windows is htp. I have not used it.
Another option if there are other servers in your network is to time synchronize with them using NTP

I have this problem now for a long time.
It happens that for example I have many Command prompt windows and notepad opened and suddenly I realize the windows are gone but the processes are still in Task manager.
Does anyone know what is going on. Did I press some kind of shortcut for this to happen.
Can I get them back somehow?
I found the culprit.
I started this software which caused the problems:
