Using VS 2015 i Debug the App on Physical Device .
But After install VS 2017 preview 15.3 preview 3 both VS 2015 And 2017 failed to detect the Physical device and only the emulators are added,

I want to using the physical device especially with VS 2015.
For me in spite of using Samsung device VS detect the device after download the USB Driver

Hi has anyone managed to get Android Emulator working on an M1 Mac with Visual Studio? I'm struggling to get it running.
In Visual Studio, Android Device Manager is showing one device
Android 10.0 - API 29
arm64-v8a
1 GB memory
1080 x 1920 resolution
Base device is Pixel 2 (+ store)
When I select it and press run, I just get a message "The emulator exited unexpectedly, please check the emulator settings".
Not sure what settings need to be changed or corrected though.

I'm using Visual Studio 2022's Android Emulator on Windows 10 to try MAUI. The virtual device was started with factory default.
i'm trying to use Xamarin with my Xiaomi 9t Pro but even though all my drivers are up to date and i enabled "USB debugging" and "install via USB", VS 2019 doesn't show my phone as an accessible device. It doesn't show at all in fact as if it wasn't plugged for VS.

I had Visual Studio 2015 Community on my Windows 10 laptop. I removed that so that I could have enough space on my laptop for Visual Studio 2017 and the Windows Universal Samples. The project (specifically BluetoothLEClient) builds, but when I run it I get an unhandled exception and . I found this thread, but I see the .appx files in their folders. Any ideas?

I installed Visual Studio Android Emulator with Ms Installer but after installation it does not appears in debug emulators for android (and other platforms).
the project run in Ripple correctly
the vs emulator will start and run correctly , 3 virtual machines start correctly with no problem. (Tools > Visual Studio Emulator For Android)
but i can't see the VS Emulator for debugging in the list for my apache cordova project
The Emulators are based on Hyper-V, so the feature is not available all the time. If you use a 32Bit Windows or an 64Bit Windows, but the CPU misses VT-X, SLAT support you also can't use Hyper-V. Also Hyper-V is only part of the Pro or Enterprise edition, if you only use the Home Edition you're out of luck and have to upgrade to Pro.
If you support all requirements, try to repair the Visual Studio 2015 and also update to Update 3.
