Uncaught ReferenceError: Spark is not defined - laravel

I've been developing my Laravel app for some time now and decided to merge everything into Spark. I quickly realized my limited PHP/JS background was not really compatible with Spark so I tried to touch the Spark code as little as possible in order to keep things working and just use the goodies of Spark (stripe integration, user notifications etc etc.
Anyway, I think I broke it. I can open my page but can't get the drop down user menu. Chrome informs me about the following error:
Uncaught ReferenceError: Spark is not defined
at Object.module.exports.el (app.js:24333)
at webpack_require (app.js:20)
at Object. (app.js:18567)
at webpack_require (app.js:20)
at Object. (app.js:51833)
at webpack_require (app.js:20)
at app.js:66 at app.js:69
I am using a Ubuntu installation that I build using vagrant, everything seemed to work fine. Since I wanted to update to Laravel 5.5 anyway, I decided to checkout a new Spark project and integrate all my code. After some hurdles I got it to work, but again, the same error. It's probably something very trivial, so I apologize in advance ....
For sake of completedness, if I checkout a vanilla spark test app I can register and everything works perfect.
And after copying the relevant files, modifying composer.json (and running composer update etc). I get the same error again....
Anyone??

Make sure you include
<script>
window.Spark = #json(array_merge(Spark::scriptVariables(), []));
</script>
In your <head></head>

---------SUPPORT ANSWER--------------
"we are migrating the auth to use Firebase and looks like couple things are still propagating. An engineer is working on this and should be resolved by Monday"
so its not a user mistake and we can just wait and hope they can fix it quickly.
I'm running into this exact issue at the moment. Even started a new template using the Angular CLI command:
ng new --collection=#nativescript/schematics my-mobile-app
From the site:
Angular CLI support
The initial template seem to work but after adding some custom modules this started happening. Running on a Android Virtual Device works.
I've been looking for a solution and the issues seems to ga back as far as 2018 so i'm not sure if this is even een NativeScript issues of a dev environment issues not being setup correctly.

Vue js $vm0 is not defined

Can someone help real quick. I'm trying to test something with Vue instance in console, but in console when I write $vm0 or $vm0.$children
Uncaught ReferenceError: $vm0 is not definedat :1:1
This only works if you have vue dev tools installed. Make sure you select the component first. It should look something like this:
Then you can inspect it in the console tab of chrome dev tools.
The question was initially asked for Vue2 I suppose, where you could use
$vm0.$route.query
to get access to various objects on the $vm0 Vue instance, here: router queries.
In Vue3, that one has changed in favor of
$vm0.proxy.$route.query

Codeigniter hiding errors from libraries. Why?

So I has a small problem as I outlined here.
I have made a new question because this is more general and will perhaps help others.
So essentially, I integrated the Facebook SDK Into Codeigniter as a library.
The SDK requires Json and Curl.
In the base_facebook.php file there is the following code:
if (!function_exists('curl_init')) {
throw new Exception('Facebook needs the CURL PHP extension.');
}
if (!function_exists('json_decode')) {
throw new Exception('Facebook needs the JSON PHP extension.');
}
If these functions are not available I expect an error to be fired to tell me such. Then I can install the correct packages and continue.
What actually happened is that even when I had error reporting set to E_ALL a blank page was returned.
This made it impossible to debug and after lots of playing I worked out it was because CURL was not installed on my server.
My question is why does codeigniter show blank pages rather than library based exceptions?
Furthermore even if there is an exception in a library why does the rest of the page not continue executing.
Essentially CI is seemingly making the use of exceptions worthless..
COuld anyone advise?
THanks
My question is why does codeigniter show blank pages rather than library based exceptions?
Most likely because display_errors is set to “off”.
While this is recommended for a production environment (web site users are not supposed to see internal error messages – it might give them info about internals, that they are not supposed to have) – it’s not very helpful while developing, where you as the developer want to be informed about what went wrong.
So check if CI has a “debug” setting for this, or if it’s maybe already set to off in your PHP configuration.
(Maybe CI or your config are set up in a way that errors are logged to a file instead. Also recommended for production; while developing, you’d have to keep an eye on this file then.)
Furthermore even if there is an exception in a library why does the rest of the page not continue executing.
Because that’s how exceptions are supposed to work – if they are not being caught when they reach the “top level” of your app, they cause a fatal error, and scripts die when those occur.
Familiarize yourself with the concept of try { … } catch(…) { … } to handle exceptions that might occur in script flow.
(Actually, it’s kinda surprising you don’t know all this already, if you’re working with an advanced PHP framework …)

My website is throwing "PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Lang::lang()"

I created a website using CodeIgniter Framework 2.1.0 that was originally working well. Yesterday, I integrated this i18n code into the site for multi-language support.
Now, when I upload my site to cpanel and open it, I get this error in my log file:
[21-Nov-2011 10:19:04] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Lang::lang() in XXXX
However, the website is working well on my localhost server (xampp for Windows). What's wrong?
See the thread attached to the library: http://web.archive.org/web/20120112092127/http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/179036. In the first post is attached a modified library that claims to alleviate the buggyness of the original.
There is also a post on the first page there referencing an error similar to yours:
After copying the files as described in the article I get the
following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method
CI_Lang::CI_Lang() in
/www/websites/audio-machinery/application/core/MY_Lang.php on line 32
Though he seems to be calling CI_Lang, not Lang. His solution appears to have been to use the code attached to the forum thread.
Also, cpanel is a control panel for hosting, not a hosting provider. But your hosting provider may be causing issues (e.g. if using older versions of PHP which do not work with newer version of CI. Often hosting providers will give you the ability to choose which version of PHP you are using--usually found in cPanel).
have you uploaded ALL the new files to your live server? that error implies that the code is not found or available to the script.
I came accross the same problem.... it was working fine on localhost but when loaded on live server it gives me undefined error... the problem appears becuase I created file with name My_Lang.php and My_Config.php as on live server it is case sensitive.... so I changed it to MY_Config.php and MY_Lang.php .... it works fine now.... Hope it will work for you too

codeigniter modular extensions

I'm trying to implement modular extensions into a codeigniter 2 setup but am having a few problems. I followed the installation instructions on the wiki and everything was working fine. Then I started to play around a bit and try and use it. All I did was create a new module called users with the required folders and added a model class called users_m. I then tried to load this from my welcome module controller. According to the wiki this should be very straightforward. I simply added this line
$this->load->model('users/users_m');
to the constructor of my welcome controller.
Unfortunately at this point I get the white screen of death.
So I tried something else. This time I removed the load model line and added
$this->output->enable_profiler(TRUE);
This time I got the welcome page displayed and I got the profiler, but at the top of the page I got this error:
A PHP Error was encountered
Severity: Notice
Message: Undefined property: CI::$profiler
Filename: MX/Loader.php
Line Number: 145
I don't know if these two tries are related or not, but there's obviously something not right with my setup. Could someone point me in the right direction?
If you accessing the model from the controller in the same module, you can load it using just:
$this->load->model(‘user_m’);
You only have to do $this->load->model(‘module/model_name’); when your cross loading between modules.
Just to make sure, your model is located here right?
application/modules/users/models/users_m.php
As for the profiler error:
1) Have you done installation step 5 and put the Modular Extensions core files into application/core?
2) Do you have the latest version of HMVC? There have been updates to mx/loader.php in the last couple days.
Ps. great tutorial on HMVC: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/php/hvmc-an-introduction-and-application/
if you have folder structure like:
application/
modules/
users/
models/
users_m.php
then use this to call modelsin you controller
$this->load->model('users/users_m','',TRUE);
