There is a rewrite issue in apache 2.4
I am trying to do the following steps but failing.
I want the result as -
If i hit url/index.html at apache(dispatcher)it should redirect and map to /content/company/en_US/index.html at AEM publisher but it should not show the long URL. Also same time all the long urls should be shortened as per second rule. Due to this conflict if i hit the url it is going to infinte loop redirects.
Also please note if AEM publisher finds /index.html it will redirect to /content.html i.e the root mapping. So i need to mask /index.html and map the same to long url without showing the long url.
Rule 1 :#rewrite "/index.html" home page

Rule 2 :

online i have a problem:
i put this file on subdomain jcore.miodomio.com and it rewrite URL but not work
example:
without htaccess it's work:
jcore.miodominio.com/index.php/en/home
with htaccess
jcore.miodominio.com/en/home
Not Found
The requested URL /en/home was not found on this server.
can anyone help me? suggestion?

Try change your htaccess to:

Somethings to consider.
Did you enable Apache rewrite module?
If enabled check whether your virtual host file is configured properly So to make sure its hitting .htaccess or try putting some dump on .htacess , So if its hitting .htaccess than you should get an 500 server error.
If you are not getting error than its mostly the problem in your host settings.
I am trying to redirect all requests coming in to the web server as http://portal.company.com/legacy to http://portal.company.com/wps/portal/public/legacy/legacyportlet with the following rule, but it is not working as expected.

It doesn't look like your source or target URLs change in any way, so possibly you're better off using Apache's basic Redirect directive which just redirects one URL to another.
Use this rule:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^portal\.company\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^legacy/?$ /wps/portal/public/legacy/legacyportlet [NC,L]
Remember that in .htaccess RewriteRule doesn't match leading slash of URI.
I am looking for a way to create a short URL path for a longer URL on my page
the long url is: domain.com/tagcloud/user.html?t=1234ABCD
i would like to offer a short version of the URL to easy access it:
domain.com/t/1234ABCD
I tried a few examples but I just don't get it how I could forward these rules.

It makes two rewrites:
a request x/y is internally rewritten to x.php?section=y
a request to x?section=y is redirected to x/y
Note that one is an internal rewrite, whilst the other redirects the browser to show a less 'ugly' url.
One hint: in case you can use the logging feature of apaches rewriting module (RewriteLog and RewriteLogLevel) this will offer you a wealth of detailed information on what is actually going on inside the rewrite process.

Right after previous query string rule then images don't open. If before there's no problem. What it could be? Do you have an idea how to fix it? The last string RewriteRule ^/?(.+)$ /?$1 [L] cause this conflict

Not sure how that makes it more friendly, aside from it being shorter. You can try adding this to the htaccess file in your document root:

Then you can change all of your links from http://domain.tld/images/anyimage.anyextension to http://domain.tld/anyimage.anyextension
The first condition checks to make sure the request is for anyimage.anyextension, as long as the extension is a case-insensitive png, gif, or jpg.
The second condition checks to make sure the requested image actually exists in the /images/ directory.

This redirects the browser to the non-/image/ URL. There's 2 completely different things going on here. One deals with the browser and the other deals with content on the server. See the top part of this answer that explains how they are different.
The rules that you have won't work. First:
RewriteRule ^/(.+)$ /images/$1 [L]
will never match. URI's used to match against the regex of a RewriteRule in htaccess files have the leading slash removed, so no URI is going to start with a /. You need to get rid of it.
Secondly, once you do, you'll get a 500 internal server error because your rules will cause an internal infinite loop. You need to match against %{THE_REQUEST} to ensure that a browser is actually requesting a URL with the /images/ path in it, not what has been internally rewritten.
