GCloud permission error when deploying to Google app engine flexible

I am trying to deploy my spring boot app to app engine via Jenkins using Maven. After maven has built the package, I am using "mvn install appengine: deploy" in the execute shell in the Build step. However, I get the following error when it is built,

I have checked the permissions in the server for the key/user used to run gcloud commands, they both have full rights. However I still get the above error.
Also, is there any other plugin in Jenkins or any other tool (like jenkins to manage builds and deploy to app engine) to do the same?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Since your Jenkins Server might not be configured with your project, use following commands in your jenkins job configuration:
Execute shell:
#!/bin/sh
gcloud -q auth activate-service-account --key-file=${PROJECT_KEY.JSON}
gcloud -q config set project ${PROJECT_ID}
mvn appengine:deploy
Also, for 'gcloud' to be available on Jenkins server, you would have to install plugin 'Google Deployment Manager Jenkins Plugin' in Jenkins.

Jenkins build not failing when maven deploy task fails

I have a Jenkins (Maven) job that builds and deploys a web service to a Tomcat 8 server.
If the deployment to the Tomcat fails the Jenkins job still finishes with success.
[INFO] tomcatManager status code:200, ReasonPhrase:OK

Is there a way to make the Jenkins job fail if the deployment fails?
if you use jenkins i advise you to use jenkins deploy plugin
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Deploy+Plugin
I think this is a bug in the tomcat maven plugin.
I had the same problem and use Jenkins plugin called Jenkins Text Finder. I added a post-build action called "Jenkins Text Finder" to the end of my Jenkins job. I leave the "Files" input box empty, but check the "Also search the console output" checkbox. In the regular expression inputbox I put "but context failed to start". The other two checkboxes remain unchecked.
This leads to the following output
[INFO] tomcatManager status code:200, ReasonPhrase:OK
[INFO] FAIL - Deployed application at context path / but context failed to start

which is good enough for me.

Wildfly command line deploy failure

I am able to run most of these tutorials in Eclipse provided in the Wildfly quickstart here:

However, I am running into problem when I use command line to do the deployment. For the most basic HelloWorld tutorial, I received this message:

You have to check if you created a user for the deployment.See this article where it is further explained .
I had same problem when the other application is usind default 9990 port.
I moved wildfly to the port 9991 (modifying standalone.xml and host.xml), admin console started to work, but deploy still was failed.
Then I figured out that wildfly plugin uses same 9990 by default.
I handled this by modiying pom.xml of my progect, put the other port (the same I was using in standalone) to the configuration of wildfly plugin.
<plugin>
<groupId>org.wildfly.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>wildfly-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>${version.wildfly.maven.plugin}</version>
<configuration>
<port>9991</port>
</configuration>
</plugin>

Please tell me what should I do to resolve this issue.
PS: I am not using any Source Code Management.
I have figured out the issue.It happened because of the difference between Maven versions I integrated in Hudson and the version with which my application's pom working.
application was working with Maven2 and Hudson was working with Maven3, I configured hudson with Maven2 and it workd fine.
