Installing Python Nlp library Spacy in windows - windows

I am very much impressed with the spacy documentation but i am struggling to install it in my windows 7 32 bit os ... I have tried installing it from anaconda and pip ...
Also tried to install a wheel package of it from https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/ .... while installing the wheel file also i got unsupported message ...

Error which I got
spacy-2.0.5-cp27-cp27m-win32_2.whl is not a supported wheel on this platform.
Am trying for an working wheel for spacy is there any source or anyone could provide ??

Ya Found !! The error occured because spacy-2.0.5-cp27-cp27m-win32_2.whl file was renamed (since redownloaded so browser renamed it)
After changing it to spacy-2.0.5-cp27-cp27m-win32.whl it works ... Pip uses file name for platform verification ...

PyMesh problems with Setup on Windows10 and Error using Docker Version

I want to install PyMesh on a Windows 10 PC, if possible it should be installed in the side-packages of an interpreter delivered with the IDE we use.
I tried the way to run the setup discribed here

so the part :
git clone https://github.com/PyMesh/PyMesh.git
cd PyMesh
git submodule update --init
worked without any problems.
I am not sure on windows if I now just can write
set PYMESH_PATH = path
and if i can use the path "...\PyMesh\PyMesh" here?
so i left out this part
I installed numpy and scipy (allready installed)
and nose because it is mentioned in the requirements.txt.
So my numpy scipy and nose versions are
numpy 1.19.1
scipy 1.6.0
nose 1.3.7 (same as requirenments)
and just run the setup.py with admin rights
python .\setup.py install
which also seemed to work but i got an error trying
python -c "import pymesh; pymesh.test()"
from the PyMesh folder
saying ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'PyMesh'
or if i go up one Folder doing the same
saying AttributeError: module 'PyMesh' has no attribute 'triangle'
I found this link ImportError: No module named PyMesh
but i just dont know what i should type in there
I tried to install via pip by using pip install pymesh
but pip Installer gives me a different library.
So i tried in the docker version and in docker i tried the pymesh.load_mesh method with an stl File
but got
SyntaxError: (unicode error) 'unicodeescape' codec can't decode bytes in position 2-3: truncated \UXXXXXXXX escape
I dont know if this is just the stl format (expecting binary getting ascii or vice versa)
The stl file itself can be opened so shouldnt be corrupted.
So is there a different way to install pymesh? A wheel would be great. Is it possible to install pymesh to the side-packages of a given Interpreter? Did someone else allready had the same error in Docker and knows the issue

How do I know why a wheel is not supported on a platform?

I'm trying to install Cairo (a 2D graphics library). I've not used any .whl before (at least not manually) and I don't understand the error message I'm getting. I downloaded pycairo-1.18.2-cp38-cp38-win32.whl and tried to pip3 install it but I get the following error:
ERROR: pycairo-1.18.2-cp38-cp38-win32.whl is not a supported wheel on this platform.
As far as I know I have the correct version of the wheel since my Python is
Python 3.8.0 (tags/v3.8.0:fa919fd, Oct 14 2019, 19:21:23) [MSC v.1916 32 bit (Intel)] on win32
The command I used to get this error was
pip3 install [full path to the .whl file in my Downloads]
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong here? Here's where I downloaded the wheel file from. (There are other options too but I believe I got the correct one.)

Installing Pycairo requires pkg-config and cairo including its
headers.
Now looking into how to get those...
Update:
With recent versions of pip, one can call path/to/pythonX.Y -m pip debug --verbose and it should print the list of compatible tags (among other things) for that Python interpreter.

Octave: error installing package on Windows

First of all, I know a lot of questions similar to mine have been asked, and nevertheless they don't help me solve the problem I'm facing. I'm running Octave 5.1.0.0 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. I'm having no issues but one: when I try to install Symbolic package by pkg install symbolic-2.7.1.tar.gz (downloaded from Octave Forge), I get the error

and I have no clue where the problem related to the unpacking could be. Not only I have 7z and Winrar installed, but moreover I use a full installation of Cmder, so my system has everything that is needed to work with a .tar.gz
I've tried in different terminals, both with and without administrator privileges, and the problem persists. How should I proceed then?
EDIT: Following Andy's suggestion, I let you know that even before installing Octave I already have installed and used both Python and MinGW, as well as sympy module. Moreover, my Octave installation was the most standard possible for Windows, that is using the official .exe installer. No other package, apart from those included with installation, have been added before I tried adding symbolic.

No available image handler could decode this transfer syntax JPEG Lossless when read DICOM and ploting using matplotlib

When i use pydicom in python3.6, there are some problem:

I've faced with the same problem, after doing some research on the suggested link above. I've managed to solve it by updating to the latest pydicom module "1.2.0" and installing gdcm. You can update the pydicom with
pip install -U git+https://github.com/pydicom/pydicom.git
You can find the latest gdcm here and this link explains the installation.
I use anaconda and it's easier to install the gdcm package and solve the problem. If you use anaconda
just type inside from your environment:
conda install pydicom --channel conda-forge to get pydicom's latest and
conda install -c conda-forge gdcm
to get the gdcm. This resolves the problem. Hope these will help.
With pydicom, you need an appropriate image handler also installed to handle compressed image types.
For JPEG lossless, in theory the following should work: jpeg_ls, gdcm, or Pillow with jpeg plugin. All of these also require Numpy to be installed. See the discussion at https://github.com/pydicom/pydicom/issues/532.
There is also a pull request in progress to add more descriptive error messages for what image handlers are needed for different images.
Problem:
I was trying to read medical images with .dcm extension. But was getting an error on Windows as well as on Ubuntu. I find a solution which will work on both the machined.
The error I got on Ubuntu is: NotImplementedError: this transfer syntax JPEG 2000 Image Compression (Lossless Only), can not be read because Pillow lacks the jpeg 2000 decoder plugin
(Note for Windows I was getting a different error but I am sure it's because of the same issue i.e. Pillow does not support JPEG 2000 format)
Platforma Information:
I am using: Python 3.6, Anaconda and Ubuntu, 15 GB RAM
RAM is important:
The solution I applied is the same as Ali explained above. But I want to add this installation may take time (depending on RAM you are using). On ubuntu where I am using 15 GB RAM on Cloud platform taken less time and on Windows on a local machine having 4 GB RAM taken a lot of time.
Solution
Anaconda is necessary. Why?
Please check the official doc of pydicom (https://pydicom.github.io/pydicom/dev/getting_started.html) its mentioned "To install pydicom along with image handlers for compressed pixel data, we encourage you to use Miniconda or Anaconda" (Note for Windows I was getting a different error)
If you are using Ubuntu directly open Terminal. If you are using Windows then on Anaconda Navigator go to Environment from here start terminal. Execute the following commands on it:
pip install -U git+https://github.com/pydicom/pydicom.git
conda install pydicom --channel conda-forge
conda install -c conda-forge gdcm
Cross Check:
Now use .dcm file for which we got the Error. Try to use the following code in Python notebook
filename = 'FileName.dcm'
ds = pydicom.dcmread(filename)
plt.imshow(ds.pixel_array, cmap=plt.cm.bone)
It should print the output. Also try this code:
ds.pixel_array
This will give you the array containing values.

pyinstaller gives weird errors when compiling pandas

UPDATE june 18:
I would like compiling my python code for windows.
I use to work with pyinstaller, python 3.5+, windows 7 and anaconda to control modules pandas, pyqt (v5) and pyqtgraph, but it seems something is not compatible. I would not be surprised if you tell me to change a version.
In previous versions, it worked with python 3.5, windows 7 and Pyinstaller 3.3.1- without pandas; the new version imports pandas and then this doesn’t work anymore:
with the usual config pyinstaller gives a message saying the C libraries are not built. Following the instructions, I should run python setup.py build_ext --inplace --force, except I don’t see the setup.py file, so I don’t know what to do. Forums tell me it should be a problem with pip but not with conda… but I use conda…
with python 3.6, I got an error message ‘RecursionError: maximum recursion depth exceeded’ (https://github.com/steph2016/profiles/blob/master/errorMessage). This problem seems known and solutions I found on forums is either to downgrade python or to replace my PyInstaller-3.3.1 by PyInstaller-3.4.dev0+7b3143612. But with PyInstaller-3.4.dev0+7b3143612 I get a ’’str’ object has no attribute ‘items’’ error (https://github.com/steph2016/profiles/blob/master/ErrorMessage2). I’m not sure pyinstaller is compatible with python 3.6…
with python 3.4, I got an error similar to the ‘str object’ one above. I’m not sure python3.4 is compatible with qt5…
I would be pleased by any solution with any version of whatever to windows-compile my code
I don't know if it is the issue but I didn't find PyQtGraph in Supported-Packages
I eventually applied the first solution proposed in No module named 'pandas._libs.tslibs.timedeltas' in PyInstaller in the original config (python 3.5, PyInstaller 3.3.1, pyqtgraph, pandas, windows 7,...) and it worked.
I don't know why adding def get_pandas_path ..... a.binaries) helps, so I can't justify. But just to be explicit even if it seems obvious: pyinstaller must be run on the spec file, not on the py one (for instance > pyinstaller toto.spec)
