Cannot see the "Components" folder in Xamarin.forms /.netstandard project - visual-studio

I am new in xamarin and I am looking for a way to add some components in my android projet but I cannot see the "Components" folder when I create my project
Thanks in advance

Unless you are already using a Solution that has components added, you won't be able to view the components directory in VS. Instead you should use Nuget Packages.

In the upcoming releases of Visual Studio 2017 and Visual Studio for
Mac, both of which are currently available in preview, the Xamarin
Component Store is only visible in the IDE for developers whose
projects are currently using Xamarin Components in their apps.

Unable to create Cross-Platform .NET Standard Plugin Templates project

I am trying to develop my own plugins in xamarin form. I installed Cross-Platform .NET Standard Plugin Templates in VS 2019. I can see in description Cross-Platform .NET Standard Plugin Templates works with 2017 and 2019.
When I try to create new project it keeps going on saying creating project.
When I look in the directory, I can see some files being generated.
It's an existing issue with VS2019
Creating a new Project with VS2019 shows missing references / they cant be loaded. Appeared after last VS Update.
If you wait long enough you can do the following :
Note- after last VS 2019 update- edit the csproj file and update the MSBuild.Sdk.Extras to version 2.0.54 so all dependencies load and the project will build.
UPDATE:
Had to download Visual studio 2017 to create the project

target "CssG" does not exist in the project xamarin

I'm using visual studio 2017, xamarin v2.5.1, I created a new xamarin forms project but I got this problem after build android project
The target "CssG" does not exist in the project.
what does this mean ?
after 3 days searching for the solution, I can't find it, any suggestions please ?
Closing Visual Studio and manually deleting the obj and bin folders worked for me! (my go-to move by the way)
I finally succeeded in solving this problem.
After building a NEW project using the Mobile App (Xamarin Forms) template, I first downgraded Xamarin.Forms to v2.5.0.280555 in all projects using Manage Nuget Packages on the references. Then I unloaded the Android project and opened the Android.csproj. In the Android.csproj I downgraded the Xamarin.Android.Support resources to 25.4.0.2, saved the document and Reloaded the Android project. After cleaning the solotion, closing it, deleting the (Android) obj and bin files and reopening the solution I could run it without errors.

"Project->Project Options" is disabled/greyed out in Xamarin

I'm on Xamarin Studio 6.0.2 (Build 73), running on Windows. Even when I create a fresh new project, the Project Options menu entry is disabled, which means I have to edit the .csproj file in Notepad++, which is not very convenient.
Some other menu entries are also greyed out. As I said, this happens even for New projects created by Xamarin Studio.
So having looked at your version information it seems like Xamarin.Android is not installed which is why you are having this issue.
You will need to install the Xamarin.VisualStudio package. Even if you only intend to use Xamarin Studio, this is required as it includes both Xamarin.Android and Xamarin.iOS.

Missing Visual Studio Project Template for Xamarin Shared Project

Visual Studio 2013 with update 4 does not show a shared project template. I only have the Xamarin forms project templates. I just installed a fresh update of Xamarin this morning. Based on what I've found so far, this used to be an issue with VS update 2. Any idea on how to get shared project template to show up?
From Xamarin Support:
No, there's no optional bits missing. I think Visual Studio Update 4
removed the shared project template. It's a Microsoft template, not a
Xamarin one. You can still create a Xamarin.Forms app with a Shared
Project (that's our template), but they no longer allow you to create
an independent shared project.
So, three ways to create one now if you are using Visual Studio 2013:
1) Switch to Xamarin Studio and create it there and then close it and
reopen the solution in VS. VS will recognize the project, it just
doesn't have a template to create it anymore. This is probably the
easiest approach.
2) Install the "Shared Project Template" from the Online templates -
this is a 3rd party template; I've not tried it but if you want to
stay in VS and have the template, it's worth a shot.
3) Create either a Universal Windows Store app (which uses a Shared
Proejct), or a Xamarin.Forms app and then delete all the other
projects :)
Alternatively, Visual Studio 2015 (currently in CTP); last time I
checked, it still has the project template - you can install that
side-by-side with VS2013 and use it as your IDE.

Shared Project with RC update 2 for Visual Studio 2013

I recently installed the RC update 2 for Visual Studio 2013. When going through the template for a universal app I found a project *******.Shared which had an extension .shproj.
When going through some material online what I found was it is - a project template to share code and files, which I thought is so cool. But as I started working on it, I hit a roadblock. How do I add references to this project? Has anyone worked this out?
There is no need to add references for the shared code. Just add necessary reference to your Windows Store or Windows Phone project. It works fine for both (shared and specific projects).
For Visual Studio 2013 Updates 2 & 3 (and probably 4), install and use the Shared Project Reference Manager Visual Studio extension to allow shared code projects to be referenced from other projects in a solution.
It does have an odd dependency on having a Windows Phone developer licence, even if you do not have a Windows Phone project in your solution, but I assume that dependency will be dropped at some point.
