I am trying to connect to Solace JMS with Kafka Connect JMS Source Connect (by datamountaineer), and I keep getting unauthorized at smfclient4. I am sure that the username and password are correct. The log is as below.

The Kafka Connect configuration is as below. I need to add username:password to connect.jms.url. If not, I get Unauthenticated Authentication.
connector.class: "com.datamountaineer.streamreactor.connect.jms.source.JMSSourceConnector"
connect.jms.initial.context.factory: "com.solacesystems.jndi.SolJNDIInitialContextFactory"
connect.jms.initial.context.extra.params: "SOLACE_JMS_VPN=my_vpn"
connect.jms.connection.factory: "MY.CF"
connect.jms.url: "smf://username:password#solace-ip"
connect.jms.username: "username#my_vpn"
connect.jms.kcql: "insert into kafka_topic select * from solaceQ WITHTYPE QUEUE"
I tried to tag datamountaineer, but I couldn't find datamountaineer tag.
Any clue on the issue? Aside from this, what do smfclient 2, 4, 6, and 8 mean?
Thank you so much!
Have you been able to connect using this username, vpn and password using another tool? For example SDKPerf (available on the Solace Dev site)
It's quite possible that the client profile or ACL profile doesn't give you enough permissions.

I'm new to ddev, but not new to Ansible, Vagrant, etc, or setting up Xdebug, and I can't for the life of me get step debugging to work with PhpStorm and ddev. I've tried changing ports and did all the steps in this thread How do I get xdebug/step-debugging working with ddev? to no avail. What am I missing?
Here are my settings:
APIVersion: v1.13.0
name: ee-dev-clean
type: php
docroot: ""
php_version: "7.3"
webserver_type: nginx-fpm

xdebug_enabled: true
additional_hostnames: []
additional_fqdns: []
nfs_mount_enabled: false
provider: default
use_dns_when_possible: true
timezone: ""
I'm setting my own 20-xdebug.ini file which is 100% accepted and showing correct values when I run phpinfo(). These are basically the same settings that do work in other Ansible/Vagrant based machines that I have running locally (all of them have been suspended while testing ddev).

The xdebug.log file has the following output after making a request and attempting to pick up a break point. I also have "stop at first line" enabled.

Ok, it was the port. I had to set it up to use port 11011 instead of 9000. Removed the 20-xdebug.ini entire override and added an xdebug-port.ini file with just the following:
[XDebug]
xdebug.remote_port=11011
Then changed the project settings in PhpStorm:
Also added the following server settings (though PhpStorm figured this out for me when it saw the incoming connection:
For clarification, please note that I have found several similar questions on stackoverflow, but I could not fix my issue.
psql: could not connect to server: Connection refused” Error when connecting to remote database
psql: How to Allow Remote Access to PostgreSQL database
I am trying to connect to a postgres DB installed in a remote server.
To create a connection from the client I am using QGIS plugin (Add PostGIS Layer):
The error that occurs is:
could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) is the server running on host "localhost" (::1) and accepting TCP/IP connection on port 5432
Additionally I added the host's IP Adress in the Host field, but then another error message occurs:
could not connect to server: Connection timed out (0x0000274C/10060) Is the server running on host "hosts_ip_adress" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?
My settings are:
Postgres installed version is 10.0 with PostGIS extension
Host operating System: Windows 7
Client operating System: Windows 7
I edited pg_hba.conf to:
host all all 0.0.0.0/0 md5
and changes listen parameter in 'postgresql.conf' to:
listen_addresses = '*'
both files are located in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\10\data
restartet pgAdmin4
My devices are in the same network. Each one is connected via LAN cable.
I suppose that a firewall is preventing the connection?

The issue has been fixed.
The test is based on 2 guest VMs runing on window10 as host, windows 10 was restarted and I didn't notice that the firewall on windows was opened after restart, the VM uses host-only adapter to communication with each other, after disable firewall on windows, the communication works.
I'm getting the following error when I try to connect to my FTP account in Filezilla using the given cPanel FTP configuration. I've gone ahead and double checked it and tried entering it manually but I continue to get the same error.
Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Everything I find tells me that something may be wrong in how I'm entering something but I'm sure that I am not. I'm unable to figure out this and I've worked with Filezilla and connecting to many other FTP accounts using the FTP configs in cPanel successfully.
Example FTP settings:
Host: ftp.address.com
Protocol: FTP
Encryption: Use explicit FTP over TLS if available
Logon Type: Normal
User: user#address.com
Password: ************
I've triple-checked the password and tried resetting it a few times in the cPanel.
I've tried removing the ftp. part in front of the host name to someone elses suggestions but I then get the following error:
Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
I'm at a lost and I can't figure out how to connect to my site. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Please check if your FTP server is actually working or listening. Connection refused by the server means that FTP server is not up and running. You can try to do a telnet ftp-server-ip-address 21 and see if you are able to connect or not.
Issue via ssh:
systemctl restart pure-ftpd and then systemctl status pure-ftpd to see if your ftp server is actually started. Additionally you can issue:
nestat -tunlp and check the list to see if you see the ftp service listening to the port 21. You should see an entry like this one:
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:21 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 8788/pure-ftpd (SER
You can restart the ftp server from WHM as well
for connecting to Cpanel through filezilla ftp client, i think this is how you should set the required things:
host: address.com
(no need to add ftp in the beginning)
User: user#address.com
Password: ************
Note that this user should be active in FTP Account.
I'm new to Windows Azure Server configurations, and I'm trying to configure the FTP Connection. But when I access the Server with FileZilla it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong here?
I'm using IIS with FTP Server Roles installed.
Following is the error log from FileZilla

I also tried the following steps in configuring the FTP Connection...
Here the endpoints have being configured from the Azure Portal.
This is how I published the FTP Site
Configured the FTP Firewall Support with the Azure Server Public IP
And enabled the firewall outbound and inbound rules..
After completing all the steps, I restarted the Microsoft FTP Service, but the problem still exists.
For now, we can't configure a active mode FTP on Azure VM. we should configure data channel port range in FTP Firewall Support, FTP work in passive mode. For example, we can use 10000-10010 ports as the data channel port range. Also, we should add ports to VM's endpoints and add then to VM's firewall inbound rules.
By the way, although the windows firewall seems to allow all traffic that’s required, we also need to enable stateful FTP filtering on the firewall:
netsh advfirewall set global StatefulFtp enable
Then restart the FTP windows service and we should be up and running:
net stop ftpsvc
net start ftpsvc
Here a case similar as you, please refer to it.
