Could't update composer in ubuntu yii2 project - composer-php
When I run command update composer then it shows error as like as below. I install php7.xml file php mbstring but it shows this. When I run php version command it shows 7.0.25. Please help me to solve this issue.

I can't seem to find a satisfiable version for the "illuminate/validation" package. The two appropriate lines I have in my composer.json are: "illuminate/database": "5.8.35", "illuminate/pagination": "5.8.35" I've tried these commands: composer require illuminate/validation:~3 composer require illuminate/validation:~4 composer require illuminate/validation:~5 composer require illuminate/validation:~6 But none of them can find a satisfiable version. They either conflict with illuminate/container which is at version 5.8.36 or symfony/http-foundation which is locked at 3.1.10. Or both. I don't know that I have much leeway to change the two lines currently in the composer.json, but if it's a non-breaking change, it might be ok. Socialite installation error Laravel
I have installed socialite before but haven't experienced this type of error. All of a sudden this error pops up. Installation failed, deleting ./composer.json. I have removed many repeating errors with different version since the error code was very big.
Run composer install or composer update first. Then try running composer require laravel/socialite. And you have not installed curl, install it first.
I solved it by enabling the curl in Php.ini file and install socialite as usual and it worked
