I have configured several test settings and I want to run parallel chrome and ie.
When I run

test for firefox runs (as I guess this run only default ones and nothing more)

You need to set to false (or null in cases where false throws an unexpected error) the rule called scss/dollar-variable-default. The rule is set to true in your linter configuration. The { "ignore": "local" } additional options, refers to the variables defined inside blocks like rule, mixin, function, so the linter is just ignoring block variable definitions, and not globals.

I have Sublime Text 3, with Sublimelinter, the sublimelinter-jshint package, and jshint installed with the correct path set. I can run 'jslint app.js' in the terminal and it runs fine. Mac OSX.

No errors are being output from the console when I run commands to the package. if I run 'show all errors' it says 'No errors found'.
How can we set common "folder_exclude_patterns" for all folder paths in a project.
For example, in the following project configuration, the folder_exclude_patterns has to be repeated for each of the folder path. Can we have it at a common single place in the configuration, instead of specifying under each of the path setting?

You are making adjustment in Project settings. Use User settings instead.
Probably this is what you trying to do:
Go to
Preferences > settings
Look at "folder_exclude_patterns" property below I added "node_modules" to hide those folders from sublime you can go ahead and also add "target" and ".sass-cache" folders to hide them.
