I am trying to develop an app using Opendaylight Nitrogen.
For debugging purposes, I want to delete all the flow rules that opendaylight has cached (these get re-installed when the switch reconnects). I want to delete these rules and restart the container to examine behavior. Where does Opendaylight store these (in which file)?

Delete karaf/target/../journal/ and karaf/target/../snapshots/ when you want to start fresh.
Karf clean deletes the karaf/target/assembly/data directory.
finally, you could also use the REST API to delete the flows on a running
controller. This documentation should help figure that out.

On Jelastic, I created a node for building an application (maven), there are several identical environments (NGINX + Spring Boot), the difference is in binding to its database and configured SSL.
The task is to ensure that after building the application (* .jar), deploy at the same time go to these several environments, how to implement it?

We suggest creating a few environments using one Repository branch, and run updates by API https://docs.jelastic.com/api/#!/api/environment.Vcs-method-Update pushing whole code to VCS.
It's possible to use CloudScripting technology for attaching custom logic to onAfterBuildProject event and deploying the project to additional environments after build is complete. Please check this JPS as an example of the code syntax. Most likely you will need to use DeployProject API method.
I'm trying to integrate activiti with one of my existing Spring app. The use case is that we would be creating new workflows every now and then, and don't want to restart the application server every time in order to execute the workflow.
I went through the activiti guide, I think i'll be following the following approach:
1) Add jars to my current application using Maven.
2) Create workflows using the activti designer.
3) Execute workflows.
But from what I understand there's no way to execute the newly created workflow without restarting the engine, and since the engine will be in my app. i'll have to restart the app the everytime.
is there something i'm missing that can allow me to do dynamic deployments of the workflows or is there another bpmn tool that could meet this use case?
Could you please let me know if you've a solve for this use-case?

I have created a compute engine VM-instance in Google Cloud Platform. Then I have installed go using the standard procedure downloading it from https://dl.google.com/go/go1.11.4.linux-amd64.tar.gz. Everything worked properly and I was able to run go application. However, after closing the instance when I reopened it, it says go is not installed. The message is following.
-bash: go: command not found

You can create custom images of boot disks and use these images to create new instances. This is ideal for situations where you have created and modified a persistent boot disk to a certain state and need to save that state to create new instances.
I think you should also consider using Docker containers.

Using HyperLedger Composer 0.19.1, I can't find a way to undeploy my business network. I don't necessarily want to upgrade to a newer version each time, but rather replacing the one deployed with a fix in the JS code for instance. Any replacement for the undeploy command that existed before?
There is no replacement for the old undeploy command, and in fact it it not really undeploy - merely hiding the old network.
Be aware that everytime you upgrade a network it creates a new Docker Image and Container so you may want to tidy these up periodically. (You could also try to delete the BNA from the Peer servers but these are very small in comparison to the docker images.)
It might not help your situation, but if you are rapidly developing and iterating you could try this in the online Playground or local Playground with the Web profile - this is fast and does not create any new images/containers.
I'm fairly new to server administration. I have my Laravel app up and running and I want to make sure it has proper backups. I have researched some backup packages and I have settled on https://github.com/spatie/laravel-backup.
However, once the server fails, I need to know how to use the most recent backup (which will be on AWS S3) to restore the database on the rebuilt server. Are there any suggestions for guides on how to do this? I can't seem to find any unless it doesn't really require much learning and instead just a couple mySQL commands.

I would use replication and within Laravel i would try to switch connection to the replica database server so things can run smoothly until the problem is resolved.

A typical production environment is automatically running backups on most important things that your deployment needs in order to recover from a failure. Those parts would commonly be your database and storage folder, and configuration files.
Also when you deploy a laravel application there aren't many things that are "worth" backing up , you can choose the entire disk to be mirrored somewhere or you can schedule a backup script which run every N times and backups the things that are more important to your application.
Personally i wouldn't rely on an package from laravel to handle my backups , you can always use other backup utilities, replication and so on.

You can call the API function RestoreDBInstanceFromDBSnapshot as showed on example.
But i don't think something automated exists that would auto restore or magically make everything work, you need to do a lot of security checks if something like that would even be attempted. Final word i believe a good solution manually entering or sending the request would be the most solid solution.
