I run command: 'gradle build'...for a java project I cloned from github.
I get following error for one of the java file:
error: unmappable character for encoding Cp1252
What's the solution for it?
Edit:
Error is at a comment:
for example, a network code of “NH” may appear on a “National Highway” or “New Hampshire”.
Error message shows this line as:
for example, a network code of ΓÇ£NHΓÇ? may appear on a ΓÇ£National HighwayΓÇ? or ΓÇ£New HampshireΓÇ?.
The simplest solution would be to avoid non ANSI characters in code files. If that is not possible try to save your code files in UTF-8. That should work.

I installed the latest version of RStudio (RStudio 1.1.423 - Windows Vista / 7/8/10).
I'm trying to publish to RPubs, but in Global Options does not appear the option for Rpubs.
When I request Publish Document, the following error appears: Error occurred while executing method.
Rprofile:
I entered the command: options (rpubs.upload.method = "internal") at line 25 of Rprofile, but it did not resolve.
The solution is provided by a careful rereading of http://rstudio-pubs-static.s3.amazonaws.com/25030_8e9c9ffc3b3c423d9381d81543423502.html
"Put in options(rpubs.upload.method = “internal”) and no other text at all". Meaning that this line of code is the only code present in the .Rprofile file.
Previously I had been adding the line to a copy of the rest of the Rprofile text. The unnecessary code was the culprit.
I had the same error before. Turns out it was due to having an accent mark in a folder name from my directory (í). I just modified that one folder name and it worked fine.
I'm very new to SGX and wanted to start with something simple. Fortunately, I found this very basic tutorial. Unfortunately, as simple as it is, I can't get it to work. The code executes, but there are errors in the output.
[sgx_create_enclavew ..\urts\win\urts.cpp:195] Couldn't open file with CreateFile()
error 0x200f, failed to create enclave.
Buffertests:
Buffer before change: Hello World!
Buffer after change: Hello World!
Stringtests:
Returned Secret:
Saved Secret: My secret string
Load Secret:
Integertests:
secretIntValue first load: 0
saved a 1337 to the enclave.
secretIntValue second load after 1337 was saved: 0
error, failed to destroy enclave.
image of output
the tutorial says:
If you get the error SGX couldn't find the enclave file. The solution is to move the enclave_test_save.signed.dll into the same folder where the app_test_save.exe is located.
which I've tried, but it didn't solve the problem.
when I try to create the enclave using:
sgx_create_enclave(ENCLAVE_FILE, SGX_DEBUG_FLAG, &token, &updated, &eid, NULL);
it returns: SGX_ERROR_ENCLAVE_FILE_ACCESS
could the problem be a result of using a different version of Visual Studio? (The tutorial uses VS 2012, while I'm using VS 2015)
Did you run the application through command prompt or from IDE?
If you are using IDE, You need to change the debugging properties to $(OutDir) from $(ProjecttDir) under Project Properties->Configuration Properties->Debugging->Working Directory.(Both Enclave and Application) Select the Intel(R) SGX Debugger.
Disclaimer: I had the same error although under a different setting (Ubuntu, eclipse) so I am not sure to what extent this will help.
Before initialize_enclave() is called (which in turn calls sgx_create_enclave()), a chdir(absolutePath) command needs to be executed, where absolutePath needs to be the absolute path to where your executable is.
My error was due to a wrong path I used.
Thanks, I solved it. turns out I had to place enclave_test_save.signed.dll in the root folder with the .edl file and not with the .exe file.
I face the following problem till trying to make export of .car file via wso2-devstudion from composite application project. The this is the error from the error log:
"!MESSAGE An error occured while creating the carbon archive file
!STACK 0
org.apache.axiom.om.OMException: com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxIOException: Invalid UTF-8 middle byte 0xce (at char #822, byte #37)"
So the problem was with using of not Latin characters in one of the proxy services "envelope requests". Under Windows 7 (x64).
Solution of this problem is to add the following line in the Eclipse.ini file of your wso2-devstudio IDE:
-Dfile.encoding=UTF8
After that you should restart the IDE and problem is gone.
Say I use Windows 7 with code page 950 (Big5, Traditional Chinese), I want to manipulate some files mixed with unicode name such as 简体中文文件.txt (GB2312, Simplified Chinese) with svn.
If I use chcp 950, when I run:
svn add .\简体中文文件.txt
I get an error:
svn: warning: W155010: 'D:\path\to\work-dir\?体中文文件.txt'
not found
svn: E200009: Could not add all targets because some targets don't exist
svn: E200009: Illegal target for the requested operation
If I use chcp 65001 (UTF-8), I get an even worse error:
svn: warning: W155010: 'D:\path\to\work-dir\?体svn: E200009: C
ould not add all targets because some targets don't exist
svn: E200009: Illegal target for the requested operation
I'd like to try chcp 1200 (UCS-LE) but it says:
Invalid code page
It seems that TortoiseSVN can manipulate those files correctly. However I need to write scripts calling svn to run several automated jobs. Is there any solution available?
Programs like svn that use the MS implementation of the C standard library's file IO functions cannot read command input or file names containing characters outside the current code page. You would have to chcp to a suitable code page for each file separately (eg 936 for Chinese).
In theory code page 65001 could cover every character, but unfortunately the MS C runtime has serious bugs that usually break applications when this code page is in use. Microsoft's ongoing failure to fix this long-standing problem leaves UTF-8 a second-class citizen under Windows.
In the future it looks like http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1537 should fix the problem by using direct Win32 APIs instead of C stdlib to do console writes, though I can't see where the related code change is to confirm whether console input and file access are similarly addressed.
I have problem. I add new dialog in old project, and I have some error:
X:MEATFACTORYMaterialsMaterials.rc (22): error RC2135 : file not found: 0x19
X:MEATFACTORYMaterialsMaterials.rc (74): error RC2135 : file not found: 128
X:MEATFACTORYMaterialsMaterials.rc (1764): error RC2104 : undefined keyword or key name: IDC_LIST_RESULT
Error executing rc.exe.
What is it means?
codepage in file - win1251
what do me?
I need resolve this problem only for VC6.0
At all, the cause of this error was that in the process of adding resources VS6.0 then why (why ? This is not understood) has created another new file resourse.h in the expansion which was added two do not read Unicode characters. That is, were present in the directory two files resourse.h - and with different content. When I set up the conditions as compile / c 68001 - then picked up by a file with Unicode but not complete - and that caused a second group of errors. And if the file is compiled as ASCII - from the point of view of the file system at the studio had two files with the same name - and not one of them could not read ( of course). That is, if you get this error - check the file resource.h - and places without glitches such as in this case .
It is also (probably) this is due to the fact that VS works for me on virtualke to Linux - but from the point of view of the file system of Linux is nothing extraordinary - just two files with different names.
