Using vue2-bootstrap-table component, I want to force the component to call the url and refresh the data programmatically.
This is the component usage:
<vue-bootstrap-table ref="table"
:columns="columns"
:ajax="tableAjax"
:sortable="true"
:paginated="true"
:multi-column-sortable=true
:show-filter="true"
>
</vue-bootstrap-table>
Now in a method I change the url as follows:
this.tableAjax.url = NEW_URL
My question is how tell the vue2-bootstrap-table to reload the data using this new url
Testing all methods listed by Chrome browser console, I found that the processFilter() method will do that:
this.$refs['table'].processFilter()

I am recording a script using truclient protocol.In my script ,i need to externally call an API which generates the Password. The password is fetched using the co-relation,which is used as an input for Login.
I am however unable to call the external API using the true client protocol.
Could anybody please suggest how to call an external API in true client protocol.
Have you tried the evaluate JavaScript step? You can post the message to the server and get the generated password during the runtime. XHR and fetch API should be supported in Chrome and Firefox, TCIE should support XHR.
Sure. Please check the detail steps:
Drag and drop an evaluate JS step from TruClient
Open the script editor
Add these code, make sure use the sync XHR to ensure the password is returned before the end step started:
var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.open("POST", '/server', false);
//Send the proper header information along with the request
xhr.setRequestHeader("xxx", "value");
xhr.send();
if (this.status === 200) {
// Request finished. Do processing here.
}
var password = xhr.response;
Change the login password step from plain text to JS and use
ArgsContext.password
to reference the previous received password.
If you have another questions please let me know. How to use the argument context you could reference this link.
BTW. the window and document object of the page can be referenced with AUT.window, AUT.document in TruClient.
Please check the help document from here.
Our application has been developed on Liferay with multiple Spring MVC portlets on the page. Its a single page application, and the navigation only happens inside the portlets. Now sometimes when Liferay session times out and I send a request to the control for a new view, the liferay login page is being shown inside the portlet. But the expected behaviour is if the liferay session is timed out, then the whole page should have redirected to Login page.
I have specified following properties in the portal-ext.properties
session.timeout.warning=1
session.timeout.auto.extend=false
session.timeout.redirect.on.expire=true
browser.cache.signed.in.disabled=true
Any suggestions?
If you're just doing Ajax navigation in the portlets, you might want to hook into Liferay's session-extension way (you'd have to look it up - there's a client side timer that counts down and displays the "session.timeout.warning" - I can't give pointers right now)
Alternatively, if a session extension is acceptable as long as a browser window is open, you can use the same mechanism to show an alternative behaviour: Instead of willingly timing out a session, it can extend the session. See portal(-ext).properties:
#
# Set the auto-extend mode to true to avoid having to ask the user whether
# to extend the session or not. Instead it will be automatically extended.
# The purpose of this mode is to keep the session open as long as the user
# browser is open and with a portal page loaded. It is recommended to use
# this setting along with a smaller "session.timeout", such as 5 minutes for
# better performance.
#
session.timeout.auto.extend=true
Does this happen in all your pages or only on specific pages. ?
Does this happen on click of any button?
If so , do the following in the method that you are calling on the click of the button,
function onClickFunction(){
var liferaySession = Liferay.Session._currentTime;
if(liferaySession == '0'){
//reload page
}
else{
//proceed
}
}
Hi There best collegue,
Currently im busy with developing a bookmarker extension for safari and running up against a problem. How can i acces the current tab url in the popover?
Tnx in advance:)
The popover doesn't have access to safari.application so can't get the current URL directly, but it can call functions in the global page which can.
In your global page:
function currentUrl() {
return safari.application.activeBrowserWindow.activeTab.url;
}
Then in the popover:
alert(safari.extension.globalPage.contentWindow.currentUrl());
Ensure that the Access Level is set to 'All' in the Extension builder and secure pages are included otherwise the URL will sometimes be undefined.
I need to navigate to new url from the current opened browser using Wating Code, Let me know if any one tried the same scenario. Also I need to get the url in the current opened browser.
using (IE browser = new IE())
{
browser.GoTo("www.google.co.uk");
string curentUrl = browser.Url;
}
If the browser is already open, you use the AttachTo static method

HTH!
I'm trying to write an add-on for firefox and i'm having a problem-
When the user right-clicking on the page the add-on is adding an element to the page's body using
document.body.appendChild(myElement);
myElement has a button and i want that "onClick" it will call a xmlHttpRequest and handle the response in some why. I've tried to inject the two scripts using
document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(xmlRequestFunction);
document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(handleResponseFunction);
but it didn't work because of (i assume) a security problem.
What can i do?
Thanks
Do not use onclick when working with content, use addEventListener instead (see https://developer.mozilla.org/en/XPCNativeWrapper#Limitations_of_XPCNativeWrapper if you need to know why). Like this:
myElement.addEventListener("click", function(event)
{
var request = new XMLHttpRequest();
...
}, false);
