Material-ui-next Popover on GridListTile - react-redux

Has anyone successfully managed to create a popover on a GridList tile item? From https://material-ui-next.com/demos/grid-list/ I've created an 'advanced' Grid List (horizontally scrolling GridList), but as soon as I try to add popovers, the horizontal styling functionality seems to be discarded, and the popover still does not show (with no errors in console).
It simply doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas?

Swift 4 hide view and fill the blank

I want to make the search bar disappear by clicking the navigation bar item and make the collection view to fill the blank, animated obviously. ( like making the screen move upwards because the keyboard is showing )
is it Possible also to make it disappear when I scroll down an appear when I scroll up again ?
I dont think both ways will work at the same time but anyway I want to know how to make each way work.
thanks for the help :)
A collection view is a scroll view. A scroll view can have a delegate. A scroll view's delegate is told when the scroll view is scrolling. Therefore you can do anything you like in response to the user scrolling the scroll view, including moving the search bar.

Expand tooltip on hover in NSCollectionView not working after ReloadData or tab change

I have an NSCollectionView inside a Tab which contains subviews with NSTextField that have expanding tooltips.
Strangely, after a new search (ReloadData) or going to a tab and coming back, the tooltips no longer expand. They come back only if I resize the window or scroll the CollectionView*. Clicking in the view does not help. What can I do to automatically have the tooltips work?
*This triggers the CollectionView and the CollectionViewItems to UpdateTrackingAreas. I tried to force this on ReloadData even delayed 1000 ms, but this did not make the tooltips able to expand.
Thoughts:
Something related to UpdateTrackingAreas but not exactly?
Maybe a first responder issue?
It also doesn't work if the window is not the active window (which is ok)
Concerned that it might be related to How do I update the expansion tooltip size after calling NSTextField setStringValue:?

Swift resize view based on shown Items with autolayout

so im toying around with Autolayout with a Storyboard.
So i have a View, containing a Button and to its right a TextField. (Sadly i cant post Pictures here yet) ;)
now what im trying to do, is that by default, when my view gets shown the button is hidden, and the view kinda resizes it self to only contain the Text field.
And after the text field is clicked (selected) the button is shown and with this the view resizes itself to fit the button and the Textfield.
I think i might be able to do that in code, by simply updating the View width with the width of the contained and shown items.
But i feel like there has to be a easy way to do that with Autolayout.
So i tryed many things, but it just doesnt work, no matter what constrains i add.
How can i solve this ? Thanks in Advance.
EDIT
i forgot to mention, even if i remove the button from the superview i get bad results, i suppose the reason is that the constrains get messed up if i remove the Button.
So thats not an Option.

How make button in NSWindow clickable while a sheet's on top of it

I have created a custom (themed) NSWindow, by creating a borderless window and then recreating all elements of the window border/background inside the content view. I've created the window widgets (close box, zoom box, minimize box) on top of my own fake title bar using -standardWindowButton:forStyleMask:.
Trouble is, when a sheet is presented on top of my custom window (e.g. "save changes...", those buttons do not receive the clicks.
Does anybody know how I can tell NSWindow not to intercept the clicks in my minimize box? It works with a standard NSWindow. When a sheet is up, I can still send both of them to the dock, or zoom the window out.
I thought maybe there's special code in the content view that ignores clicks in subviews while a sheet is up. But it seems as if -hitTest: is called on the content view and returns the minimize widget, but the widget's action never gets triggered.
I guess I could just replace the content view and perform the action in the content view's hitTest if it is the minimize widget ... but that seems a bit ugly.

ScrollView error in Xcode 4.5

To make my scroll view scroll, i need to check the box "bounce vertically". But when i make it, while scrolling the page. The page automatically scrolls itself back to first state if i dont keep my finger holded on the screen. Please help me.
uncheck the box bounce vertically and check the box bounces. on the scroll view section of the IB right on the top check the first three boxes. show vertical... show horizontal.... scrolling enabled.
that should do the trick. let me know if this works.
