Spring Boot Webflow MVC Thymeleaf config - spring

Question

i set up all my configuration with Spring MVC, Webflow, and thymeleaf. When i use
.addFlowLocation("/**/flows/**/checkout.xml").build();
My flow is found and executed. However, when i use
.addFlowLocationPattern("/**/flows/**/*.xml").build();
the flow definition is not found. I also tried renaming my file to *-flow.xml and using the pattern given in the documentation and moving the file to different directories with different patterns but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

I have multiple flows and would prefer not to have to input them all individually.

Got this working after a long time of tinkering around looking at the errors tossed out. Since the documentation for setting up a Spring Boot app with Thymeleaf, Spring MVC, and Spring Webflow is very sparse and not well documented i thought I'd leave my config here in case someone else has an issue as well.
