vc_redist.x86.exe has changed since it was initially published [duplicate] - visual-studio

I have developed a setup application for my project, wherein prerequisite software will be downloaded from the vendor's website. Doing this I got a crystal reports error when I try to install that application, saying Setup has detected that the file "" has changed since it was initially published.
Targeted framework of my application: .NET Framework 3.5
and developed in Visual Studio 2010

Definately a problem with the CRE. See the steps below:
In the following folder, you will find a product.xml file. \Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\Crystal
Reports 4.0\
Open the product.xml file in Notepad (or any text editor) and under the section, you will find 2 URLs that point to the 2
deployment packages. Copy each URL into your web browser and manually
download the packages.
Once the packages are downloaded, copy them to the same folder as the product.xml file (see #1 above).

Why do I see a ClickOnce Dependency Error?

I have a Visio VSTO addin that has a dependency on a EULA. I am building and deploying using Visual Studio 2019 on Windows 10. This was working fine, up until the time I had to rebuild a Windows 10 dev machine.
The EULA depndency is installed under
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\ClickOnce Bootstrapper\Packages
In Visual Studio 2019 I can see and select the dependency that is deployed when I publish the plugin. However, when trying to install the ClickOnce addin from the product site I am getting the following error:
Error: Setup has detected that the file 'C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD8AA0.tmp\cpaseulapackage\en/cpas-eula.txt' has either changed since it was initially published or may be corrupt.
In Visual Studio the 'Sign the ClickOnce manifests' and 'sign the assembly' options are checked.
I can't figure out what has changed, or caused the deployment to break. Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
Thanks and regards
Andrew
Just Refer to Alec's answer.
I made some modifications based on your situation, please try and tell me the effect.
In the following folder, you will find a product.xml file. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\ClickOnce Bootstrapper\Packages\cpaseulapackage
Open the product.xml file in Notepad (or any text editor) and under the section, you will find 1 or 2 URLs that point to the deployment package. Copy each URL into your web browser and manually download the packages.
Once the packages are downloaded, copy them to the same folder as the product.xml file (see #1 above).

i search for this error and get this help
•Find a product.xml file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\
•Open the product.xml file in Notepad (or any text editor)
•Under the section, find 2 URLs that point to the 2 deployment packages

•Build and publish your ClickOnce deployment
i download both msi files and copy the files but it not works for me the same error is come any one plz help me to resolve this problem
This is an old question (5 months old at this time) but maybe this will help someone in the future. I noticed that these errors do not go away for me until I close VS and re-open. Then if I try to publish again, the errors are refreshed.
If I don't close VS, the errors remain even after coping the files as described above.

Error: The Target "GatherAllFilesToPublish" does not exist in the project, but is in v10.5 folder

I've been going around and around on this issue. I've got a ASP.NET MVC 3 Web application built in VS2010 SP1. When I attempt to Publish to the local file system, I get the error
The Target "GatherAllFilesToPublish" does not exist in the project.
and it fails. I've followed the answer described in Why do I get the error "The target GatherAllFilesToPublish does not exist"? but it doesn't resolve my problem.
I've installed the Azure SDK 1.8 for VS2010 (October 2012), trying to get my system back to working. With this install, I see the following files/folders in my MSBuild tree.
Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.0\Web\Microsoft.Web.Publishing.Targets, dated 1/18/2011.
This file does not mention the "GatherAllFilesToPublish"
After installing the Azure SDK, I've got another file/folder:
Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.5\Web\Microsoft.Web.Publishing.Targets, dated 9/27/2012.
This file does contain the "GatherAllFilesToPublish" target.
Apparently my Publish function in VS2010 isn't using the v10.5 folder's targets. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this problem?
Thanks,
And the answer is...
At some point in the past, the project had been edited to include a local copy of the msbuild folder and I had forgotten about it. I used sysinternals' procmon to find the file access and it was only referencing msbuild under my project.
With that, i renamed the folder, edited the csproj file to remove the localized references for the MSBuildExtensionsPath32, and reloaded the project.
I was able to successfully publish my app.

Is it possible to provide custom content for the VS2012 Start Page?

Visual Studio 2012 (and 2010, too) has a Start Page that has links and streamed videos. Is it possible for my package to provide content on this page, e.g., create a separate section next to Welcome/Windows 8/etc.?
I finally got a custom start page working in VS2012 - my issue was I could not install the Start Page Project Template in 2012 as the extension only installs on 2010 (which I don't have access to) and my My Documents folder is mapped to a network drive, so putting the raw XAML file in My Documents/Visual Studio 2012/Startpages didn't work as Visual Studio refused to use this "untrustworthy file".
Download the Start Page Template from here.
Rename the file to .zip and extract it.
Copy the "\Solution\CSharp\Extensibility\StartPage.zip" file to your project template folder (by default "My Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#").
Create a new project using this template.
Follow the instructions here to upgrade from 2010 to 2012 start page.
Update the project properties target framework to 4.5.
Update the project references in the Control project by removing the Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.10.0 reference and adding the Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.11.0 and Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Immutable.11.0 references.
Update the namespaces references in the xaml file by replacing the existing ones with the two below.
xmlns:vs="clr-namespace:Microsoft.VisualStudio.PlatformUI;assembly=Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.11.0"
xmlns:vsfxim="clr-namespace:Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell;assembly=Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Immutable.11.0"
Replace the references to vsfx:VsBrushes keys to vs:EnvironmentColors keys, e.g. vsfx:VsBrushes.StartPageBackgroundKey to vs:EnvironmentColors.StartPageTabBackgroundBrushKey
In the VSIX project, make the following changes to the source.extension.vsixmanifest file (values depending on if 2010 support is desired, it is not for me):
Add an author, the default empty tag is not allowed: <Author>Ken</Author>
Change/add the visual studio support version to 11.0: <VisualStudio Version="11.0">
Change the supported runtime edition to include 4.5: <SupportedFrameworkRuntimeEdition MinVersion="4.5" MaxVersion="4.5" />
The VSIX solution should now build and spit out a VSIX file in the project bin folder. Install this and you can now choose your Start Page from the drop down list in the visual studio options.
I haven't actually developed my custom start page beyond this, but hopefully it is a helpful to people wanting to get started developing them with VS2012
EDIT: A project which includes a basic 2012 start page, custom control and can be deployed via VSIX: template

Visual Studio 2010: prerequisites issue

On Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 I would like to create a installer for a solution I created.
I created it by menu way (File > New project... > Other Project Types > Setup and Deployment > Visual Studio Installer > Setup Project), added files to their correct destinations etc., and all works fine, except for prerequisites...
The problem is that my solution depends on .Net 3.5 and I would like to install it automatically together with the installer, in some offline way - no internet downloads on installation time.
If on installer project properties I mark "create setup to install install prerequisite components" and mark "download prerequisites from the same location as my application"...
... when I try to run, it shows messages like that:
Error 7 The install location for prerequisites has not been set to 'component vendor's web site' and the file 'DotNetFX35SP1\dotNetFX20\aspnet.msp' in item '.NET Framework 3.5 SP1' can not be located on disk. See Help for more information. D:\Projetos\Eletronica\M013-Moura\HG-V6-release1\VidaCiclada-semTemperatura\VidaCiclada_Installer\VidaCiclada_Installer.vdproj VidaCiclada_Installer
Well, I put my offline installer of .Net 3.5 on the same folder EXE output of my solution is. What am I doing wrong?
Although I could not completely finished my installer package, I found the issue:
I clicked on properties panel
I clicked on the setup project
On property named "Localization", I changed the value to "English (United States)"
So I could build the project and execute the installer normally (except for SQL Server Express, that I would like to install with that package too, but although it is executed with setup, it does not create the Windows services for it...).
I.e., the issue was that my VS2010 doesn't have the files needed for the setup on my native language, "Portuguese (Brazil)", but it has for English language. The final setup will install prerequisites on English language...
