maximum setlocal recursion level reached for heroku in windows - laravel

I am trying to host a small app in heroku. The app is already up. Now when I was trying to push additional changes and hence logging; I am getting this error in my cmd.
The app is in laravel 5.4. I am running windows 10. And I am relatively new to hosting and heroku.
What might be the possible solution to the problem?

I've had the same problem today and I think it is related to the automatic Heroku CLI update.
I managed to fix it by changing this file: %LOCALAPPDATA%\heroku\client\7.0.15\bin\heroku.cmd
On line 4 it was:
if not "%HEROKU_REDIRECTED%"=="1" if exist "%LOCALAPPDATA%\heroku\client\bin\heroku.cmd" (
and I changed it to:
if not %HEROKU_REDIRECTED%=="1" if exist "%LOCALAPPDATA%\heroku\client\bin\heroku.cmd" (
Basically when %HEROKU_REDIRECTED% was wrapped in double quotes first if statement always evaluated to true, causing recursion.

Heroku posted an update and fix for this:
https://help.heroku.com/FMA2YNC8/heroku-cli-windows-v7-setlocal-recursion-error
The recursion error has been patched in version 7.0.13, however the
bug may render earlier versions of the CLI unusable. To fix this,
delete the CLI client folder at
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\heroku\client then run heroku
update.

Class 'Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider' not found While Upgrading from Laravel 5.1 to 5.2

I have a Laravel 5.1 install that I am upgrading. I meticulously followed the instructions available at https://laravel.com/docs/5.3/upgrade#upgrade-5.2.0 for the upgrade, including removing Illuminate\Foundation\Providers\ArtisanServiceProvider and Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider from the config/app.php file (I am stressing this point, as googling for this issue has suggested this in every response).
Despite this, I am still getting this error when I run composer cache:clear
[Symfony\Component\Debug\Exception\FatalThrowableError]
Class 'Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider' not found error
and see this error in my browser:
FatalThrowableError in ProviderRepository.php line 146:
Class 'Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider' not found
Thinking that perhaps references to these classes were being cached, I checked bootstrap/cache/services.json and removed the references from there as well and then ran composer dump-autoload but I am still getting this error.
I also made sure to copy over example config/app.php from Laravel 5.2 clean install example here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ziyed/Laravel-5.2/master/vendor/laravel/framework/src/Illuminate/Foundation/ProviderRepository.php
I have read through the similar threads on StackOverflow and Laracast and tried tried to use the advice contained inside, but nothing seems to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. For reference, my dev setup is running on a local XAMPP stack under a Windows 10 OS. The other environments are remote, using a traditional LAMP stack with Amazon Linux 2. I was trying to do the upgrade locally.
Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider is not present anymore.
When I recently had to upgrade the same versions as you, I had to run composer update before and after removing Illuminate\Routing\ControllerServiceProvider::class and Illuminate\Foundation\Providers\ArtisanServiceProvider::class to make it work. Also worth to mention you need to clear bootstrap/cache. It worked for me.
Edit: i noticed now you tried the last step partially as well. You can remove all php files from cache.
I am closing this question, not because I found an answer, but because continuing down this path just didn't pass a cost/benefit analysis. After upgrading to 5.2, the next upgrade would be 5.3, and the breaking changes between 5.2 to 5.3 is a lot higher than between 5.1 to 5.2. After some thought, it was obvious that the better approach would be a fresh install on my target version, and then start porting over each module in my project by copying over the views, updating the routing, and making changes to the controllers and middleware as needed.
Or just using Laravel Shift.
Thank you to everyone who chimed in with suggestions!

Nextjs project is not hot reloading in MacOs

Well, i try searching a solution but i cant find anything.
A coworker passed me project in NextJs (With React of course). I run yarn install, and then yarn run dev, the server starts but when i made a change in the code, it is not hot reloading! I have to stop and start the server manually each time.
I tried sudo yarn run dev, i tried with npm, y tried a lot of things.
I dont know much about MacOs, i just bought this days ago... The project work perfect on my Windows machine.
This are my current node and yarn version on mac
devmcgann#MacBook-Pro-de-Gabriel instashop-webapp % node --version
v12.16.1
devmcgann#MacBook-Pro-de-Gabriel instashop-webapp % yarn --version
1.22.4
Edit: I tried making a simple react app and hot reload work perfect there.
But with nextJS the problem persists
Thanks!
I had similar issues. The problem was the incorrect imports.
Some of my files and folder were in lowercase but in imports I was using uppercase.
Even though the build is successfully done without error, the hot reload doesn't work. So I had to correct them in order to make them work.
Make sure your routes case matches the case of the folder.
Make sure the component name has to start with the upper case. If your file name is dashboard.jsx, the component name should be Dashboard.
// home/dashboard.js
const Dashboard = () => {
....
}
export default Dashboard
Well.. This is rare.
Yarnd install and also npm install. I didnt now that i will need both.
Fixed.

Inconsistent internal package errors with go get

I'm trying to go get go.etcd.io/etcd/tools/benchmark.
Previously this has worked, flawlessly. However when I try to do it currently I have alternatively got no errors and I've had it fail on me with:
go/src/go.etcd.io/etcd/vendor/google.golang.org/grpc/balancer_conn_wrappers.go:28:2: use of internal package google.golang.org/grpc/internal/buffer not allowed
go/src/go.etcd.io/etcd/vendor/google.golang.org/grpc/clientconn.go:49:2: use of internal package google.golang.org/grpc/internal/resolver/dns not allowed
go/src/go.etcd.io/etcd/vendor/google.golang.org/grpc/clientconn.go:50:2: use of internal package google.golang.org/grpc/internal/resolver/passthrough not allowed
The first time I ran it on a new go-1.13 installation it worked, but the following times it has failed as above.
The repo has not changed as far as I can tell in the past 8 months and I've tried on various golang versions but all so far have failed (bar the go-1.13 on that first try...).
Any assistance debugging this would be greatly appreciated!
I have both a workaround and an official fix.
The workaround:
Here I defined a go.mod which then used a previous version of the library.
The official fix:
This was fixed upstream and thus no one else should experience this.
I guess you can try by removing vendor folder from the go.etcd.io/etcd repo. Also disable the vendoring mode. It should work.

"Attempt by security transparent method" when re-opening a default application

I created a new application with react native windows, and it works well the first (few) times I run it, however, when closing the application I always end up with the following warning:
Attempt by security transparent method 'System.Reactive.Concurrency.CoreDispatcherScheduler..ctor(Windows.UI.Core.CoreDispatcher)' to access security-critical type 'Windows.UI.Core.CoreDispatcher' failed.
I've tried this on more than one computer and all of them get the same error but I can't find a way to fix this, meaning I cant proceed with my Native project in fear that it will malfunction every day.
How do I fix this, to stop this from happening again, or is it a bug?
I'm a novice in React Native myself, but here are a few suggestions:
1) There's an issue logged in GitHub on this exact problem: https://github.com/Microsoft/react-native-windows/issues/1954
2) I personally find that I get this with command-line execution (react-native run-windows) but I don't think(?) that I've seen it when running from inside Visual Studio. Try that approach to running instead.
3) As described at GitHub - I've found that deleting windows\Debug folder before running tends to resolve the issue.

Meteor update failed download on windows

im getting this error when im trying to update Meteor on windows.
Using git bash here, but getting the same error in command prompt.
Does the file simply not excist, or what is going on here, have had it for some days now, so im just curious if the file excist at all, since its not really officially supported on windows yet?
$ meteor update
New version available: 0.3.8
Failed to download: https://d3sqy0vbqsdhku.cloudfront.net/meteor-package-Windows
_NT-i686-0.3.8.tar.gz
It is not supported officially yet on Windows. You need to rely on weekly checking win.meteor.com for updates.
I believe you are correct in your assumption of it not really being officially supported on windows. I also get this same error and have tried everything to get around it. I tried scouring for this package manually and was unable to find it.
