Springboot webscoket with external broker, dependency issues - spring-boot

I am trying to make Websocket with stomp work with external message broker and it seems there are broken dependencies on reactor libraries.
Below is the exception that I am getting

Keycloak with Spring Cloud Gateway

I have tried securing my Spring Cloud Gateway using Keycloak Spring Boot Adapter. It is showing me this error as soon as I add the keycloak-spring-boot-starter dependency :

Instead of keycloak-spring-boot-starter, you may use Spring Boot official OAuth2/OpenID Connect client in dependency org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-oauth2-client which works well with Keycloak OIDC flows as shown on Tim te Beek's blog post.
You may also look at the spring-cloud samples on github, esp. sample-gateway-oauth2login. It's a Gradle project but you can easily adapt to Maven.
I resolved this by excluding the spring-boot-started-web from the keycloak adapter dependency as follows
<dependency>
<groupId>org.keycloak</groupId>
<artifactId>keycloak-spring-boot-starter</artifactId>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-web</artifactId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>
I don't know if this would cause problems later on, but for now the app is running.
I use the following pom to resolve the issue:
<properties>
<java.version>11</java.version>
<spring-cloud.version>Hoxton.SR4</spring-cloud.version>
</properties>
...

I have tried all the solutions that are over the internetr like adding version to the msql-connector-java etc. but none of them seems to work. I will be highly oblidged if somone can guide me on the issue.
Presumably you've created this project with the Spring Initialzr so you can try running with:
./mvnw spring-boot:run
instead of eclipse - presumably this is an eclipse issue as your error matches Unable to connect mysql to spring boot project. If that does work then as suggested on that question you can run 'mvn clean install' to rebuild and should then be able to do 'Maven > Update Project' from eclipse (or set it up to sync automatically - see How do I get my Eclipse-Maven project to automatically update its classpath when I change a dependency in my pom.xml file?)
Seems like spring boot by default for first time require mysql connection.
Include mysql connector while creating your project in build.gradle I resolved using following line in dependencies
runtimeOnly 'mysql:mysql-connector-java'
application.yml
> spring:
> application:
> name: applicationevent
> version: 1.0
> datasource:
> driverClassName: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver

Application Fails to start with Springboot RC2

Upgrading from spring boot RC1 to spring boot RC2 is breaking builds on multiple projects. I decided to post here before raising an issue. We looked through release notes and don't see any changes we needed to make other than actuator configuration.
Looking at this commit it appears maybe a new Milestone release of Spring cloud streams is needed https://github.com/spring-cloud/spring-cloud-commons/commit/43ea0461ee16e1ee6f250ece8c82f323f2aef2ae
Using These Versions
kotlinVersion=1.2.21
springBootVersion=2.0.0.RC2
springCloudVersion=Finchley.M6
springCloudStreamsVersion=Elmhurst.M4
we are getting this error
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'configurationPropertiesBeans' defined in org.springframework.cloud.autoconfigure.ConfigurationPropertiesRebinderAutoConfiguration: Bean instantiation via factory method failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Failed to instantiate [org.springframework.cloud.context.properties.ConfigurationPropertiesBeans]: Factory method 'configurationPropertiesBeans' threw exception; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: BINDER_BEAN_NAME

EDIT
On 2nd of March, 2018 Spring Cloud Finchley M8 is released. https://spring.io/blog/2018/03/02/spring-cloud-finchley-m8-is-available
From release notes:
Finchley.M8 is compatible with Spring Boot 2.0.0.RELEASE
Finchley.M8 is the solution for springboot2.0.0.rc2 and for springboot2.0.0.RELEASE also
<properties>
<project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding>
<project.reporting.outputEncoding>UTF-8</project.reporting.outputEncoding>
<java.version>1.8</java.version>
<spring-cloud.version>Finchley.M8</spring-cloud.version>
</properties>
OLD SOLUTION
If you use the latest version for spring cloud (Finchley.BUILD-SNAPSHOT) it will fix the issue.
Probably they will release a new version soon.
<properties>
<project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding>
<project.reporting.outputEncoding>UTF-8</project.reporting.outputEncoding>
<java.version>1.8</java.version>
<spring-cloud.version>Finchley.BUILD-SNAPSHOT</spring-cloud.version>
</properties>
Spring Boot 2.0.0.RC2 is not compatible with Spring Cloud Finchley.M6. You have to use Spring Boot 2.0.0.RC1 or wait until there is a newer Spring Cloud version available.
Try to use parent with version 2.0.0.RC1 and cloud Finchley.M6 and these dependencies. I created my pom.xml according to this sample and everything seems to work properly I also needed to remove log.level from *.yml configuration, because of missing map converter.
<parent>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
<version>2.0.0.RC1</version>
<relativePath/>
</parent>
<properties>
<!-- ... -->
<spring-cloud.version>Finchley.M6</spring-cloud.version>
</properties>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-starter</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-webflux</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-starter-config</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-starter-gateway</artifactId>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
Well, you see the issue. The latest milestones with the upgrade to Spring Boot RC2 are not out given that RC2 literally just got released.
I'd encourage you to hold off upgrading to new boot versions if you have integrated in Spring Cloud. You wouldn't update to new version of Spring Framework without Spring Boot having released their dependent version.

what versions to use when using Spring-ws spring-integration and spring-security altogether

I'm using Spring-integration 2.0.0 and wanted to secure the calls to the web services exposed by Spring integration. So I used the secured channels and it works fine so far using Spring-core 3.0.5 and Spring security 3.0.5.
But then I wanted to use the WSS interceptors of Spring web services. And then came the following problem :
when I declare the XwsSecurityInterceptor like this :
<bean id="wsSecurityInterceptor" class="org.springframework.ws.soap.security.xwss.XwsSecurityInterceptor">
<description>
This interceptor validates incoming messages according to the policy defined in 'securityPolicy.xml'.
The policy defines that all incoming requests must have a UsernameToken with a password digest in it.
The actual authentication is performed by the Spring Security callback handler.
</description>
<property name="secureResponse" value="false"/>
<property name="policyConfiguration"
value="classpath:securityPolicy.xml"/>
<property name="callbackHandler">
<bean class="org.springframework.ws.soap.security.xwss.callback.SpringPlainTextPasswordValidationCallbackHandler">
<property name="authenticationManager" ref="authenticationManager"/>
</bean>
</property>
</bean>
I get this stack :
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'wsSecurityInterceptor' defined in class path resource [SES/Operations/Logging/applicationContext-security.xml]: Cannot create inner bean 'org.springframework.ws.soap.security.xwss.callback.SpringPlainTextPasswordValidationCallbackHandler#b0dbb' of type [org.springframework.ws.soap.security.xwss.callback.SpringPlainTextPasswordValidationCallbackHandler] while setting bean property 'callbackHandler'; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'org.springframework.ws.soap.security.xwss.callback.SpringPlainTextPasswordValidationCallbackHandler#b0dbb' defined in class path resource [SES/Operations/Logging/applicationContext-security.xml]: Initialization of bean failed; nested exception is java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/springframework/security/AuthenticationManager

I guess this has something to do with a dependency problem as I read that some packages have been reworked between 2.x and 3.x versions. Please note that I had to exclude transitive dependency from spring-ws-security to spring-beans as it was bringing the 2.0.6 version of spring beans which were conflicting with 3.0.5 release of the same jar.
So my question is : what versions of the different Spring modules (Spring-ws, Spring-integration, Spring-security, Spring-framework) should I use ?
Thanks in advance for any help
Fabrice
The latest versions should work together. As spring-ws version 2.0 was released this week your problem should be solved for production too.
