I have installed hygieia in my aws machine. After installing hygieia i am trying to configure github widget. But under repo type i dont find to select github.
Furthermore Please find the jar commmand.

What version of hygieia are you using?. If you are using old version, upgrade to Hygieia latest version.

I am trying to find out how to deploy a hadoop cluster using ambari by using apache big top
According to the latest release bigtop 1.5:

deploy Bigtop components via Apache Ambari.
I am able to install the Bigtop components via command line, but do not find any documentation on how to install these bigtop hadoop components via ambari.
Can someone please help redirect me into some documentation that tells me how to install various hadoop components(bigtop packages) via ambari?

Build a repo of Big Top
To install that repo with Ambari, you have to register the stack/version. You will need to create a version file. I found an example of one here.
Complete installation like you would with a normal build
This is highly theoretical (..haven't done this before..) I have worked with a BIGTOP Mpack before that took care of some of this work but it's not production ready yet, and works with an old version of Ambari, not the newest. (I was able to install/stop/start HDFS/Hive). These instruction above should work with any version of Ambari.
I have been able to test Matt Andruff's theory with a VM. Here was my process and where I stopped;
Built a repo of Apache BigTop 1.5.0
Built BigTop using Gradlew
Installed Apache Ambari 2.6.1 on my system
Enabled BigInsights build version xml file and modified the package version numbers to match my Bigtop build
Note: You can also build your own version file if you want as Matt mentioned
Setup a webserver to host your package repo
Point your xml version file repo to your local webserver for packages
From there you can complete the installation of your packages as you would normally.
I have only done this with a single VM thus far and will be trying to spin up a small cluster using AWS in the coming weeks.

All Jenkins files have been updated to use the latest docker images, or custom docker images, published by me in Skyglass Docker Hub. Feel free to publish them in your own docker hub, using docker files from "docker-images" folder.
"docker-images" folder contains custom docker image to run Jenkins. I recommend using this image to run Jenkins on your computer. It uses the latest version of jenkins for jdk11 and all needed plugins with the latest versions

I want to upgrade my nexus repo from 2.10.0-02 to latest 3.x edition.
So I followed the documentation which states I should first upgrade it to latest 2.y edition (which is nexus-2.14.13-01).
I followed the steps as mentioned in the documentation, viz.
Stop old version nexus server.
Extract nexus-2.14.13-01.zip at same location as previous nexus, so 'sonatype-work' becomes the sibling directory.
Point soft links and env variables to new nexus.
Start new nexus server.
Change owner to nexus user. (as in previous version)
But in my new nexus-2.14.13-01 instance, I cannot see my personal artifacts, be it proxy or hosted.
Although I can still see all my artifacts in /sonatype-work/nexus/storage folder.
What am I missing? Please suggest

The browse storage UI in Nexus Repo 2.x displays what is on disk. It's as simple as that. So if the artifacts are not visible it means the work directory is not set to the right location. Edit $installdir/conf/nexus.properties and set "nexus-work=/sonaytype-work/nexus".
I installed a Heroku plugin, and I'd like to tinker with the source code of the plugin easily, by directly editing the plugin JavaScript package. However, I don't know where plugins are stored. I skimmed the heroku plugin docs and didn't see an answer.
Where can I find the installed plugin on my machine? In my case, I'm using macOS.

I don't think there is a tool to generate a package for magento connect from a git repository right now. You have to install your module an package it in magento itself. Here is the official tutorial pdf.
