Prevent Xamarin Forms Displayactionsheet from closing on outside touch - xamarin

I have an DisplayActionSheet with two choices; User and Guest. I have to choose any one of these before proceeding to login page . However, when I click outside the dialog window , the dialog closes. How can I stop this behavior?

I would suggest you to use pop-up page in that situation and configure it to not close on background click. There is a simple library which can help you to build popup's https://github.com/rotorgames/Rg.Plugins.Popup, it also available via NuGet.

Unable to inspect or click a toolbar button using AutoIt

I have an old app to automate using AutoIt.
My biggest problem is to access a specific button inside a toolbar (like the example message).
When inspecting, the inspector only shows the info of the toolbar, not the individual buttons. I can't inspect a specific element inside it.
How can I tell the script which button should be clicked? Maybe find the tool bar and tell to click button 3, but how? Is it possible like this?
Thanks.
Resolved with the instance number of the button inside the toolbar.
Example: [CLASS:Viewcore_W32; INSTANCE:3]
I have to do some attempts with different indexes until right button is clicked but it works now.
Thanks.

Firefox addon-sdk : Creating a UI window/addon page for displaying addon specific information

I'm developing a Firefox addon. I have already created a login dialog box using panels in firefox addon-sdk. As the next step i need to open up another windows to display some information queried from the internet at the click on a button in the panel after login in.
I have already tried creating another panel and calling it (panel2.show()) from the first panel(panel1) but the 2nd panel is destroyed immediately or it's not resident on the screen may be since I'm calling it from within the first panel and it's closing itself off after calling the 2nd panel to show.
So i need to know a way to create the 2nd panel from within the first panel yet keep it out the life scope of the first panel. Or to find a better alternative to load the content page 2 in a separate window.
Thank you.

Firefox User Agent Switcher - how do I get to it?

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/
I've installed it in Firefox, but, how do I actually get to it? I don't see it in my toolbar, I don't see if it I right click anywhere close to my toolbar. It's not one of the Chrome-looking extension buttons. Thanks.
Right click your navigation toolbar and click "Customize", then scroll down and
find User Agent Switcher icon. You can drag&drop it to your navigation toolbar.
You can start using it this way.
Instructions here: http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/screencasts/#access-firefox-4-video
Underneath tools you should see a "Default User Agent" drop down. Roll over this menu item and you should see alternative User Agents. sketchflow navigatetoscreenaction popup

I am using SketchFlow for a prototype. Right now when the user clicks certain 'links' a trigger is excuted which calls navigatetoscreenaction and I supply the target screen. The problem is instead of going to this screen and leaving my main window, I want my target screen to popup into a modal dialog. Can you accomplish this with Sketchflow?
Yes, but you might have to code it up yourself. If you truly want a dialog you will have to do it in the event handler for the item you are clicking. You would do it just like any other dialog on the platform you are using.
If you just want to simulate it, you could make the screen into a component screen and use visual states to hide/show it. Made it hidden in the base state, and create a show state that you trigger with a behavior.
yes you sure can, with a component screen. Right click on your source screen in the sketchflow map and there it is.

Is there a way to make changes to the titlebar with GTK2?

I have a desktop application written in Ruby that is using GTK2. It's just a small test application to play with GTK2, but I'm having problems achieving what I want to do. Is there any way using GTK2 to get at the titlebar (apart from setting the title), specifically to either add a button to it (beside the min/max/etc, B in the below diagram) or to add an option to the menu that pops up when you click the icon on the titlebar (A in the below diagram)?
I'm thinking there might not be because GTK is meant to work with many many different window managers, but I just wondered if there was. As a side question, what event does clicking the 'cross' button fire? At the moment if the user clicks that the window disappears but the program doesn't end - I need to capture that event and quit the program.
Thanks for any help, including hitting me over the head and telling me how silly I am.
Note that this is possible in GTK 3.10 and up, by using gtk_window_set_titlebar(). It replaces the window manager's title bar with a custom one. GtkHeaderBar is a good custom title bar class to use.
You can't, however, make it look just like the window manager would, because you won't know which window manager the user is running.
No, the title bar is owned by the window manager and you will typically not have direct access to it.
When the user tries to close the window by clicking the window manager's button, the window will receive the delete event.
