Integrating payments into chatbot - botframework

I wanted to know if it is possible to integrate payments into a chatbot built upon MS Bot Framework without using PayPal/Stripe APIs. I've got a traditional payment gateway that I wish to use for payments, is there any way to render a webpage within a bot window? Also, I'm not entirely sure whether such an approach is safe.
Any other suggestions in terms of approaching this problem are also welcome.

You can simply use depends on the language you're using the CSharp Payment Bot Sample or Node Payment Bot Sample that uses Stripe or if you want to use PayPal, you can just create a Payment Button where the user will have to click on, get redirected to a browser to finish the payment and create an endpoint for PayPal's Instant Payment Notification on your Bot so it can tell when the payment has been processed.

Calling an external API from MS Teams chat

Can anyone offer guidance on how to call an external API from within MS Teams chat/posts initiated by an #mention or #hastag? The service I want to build would use the mention/hastag to call an API and return various types of meta data that would then be added to the chat, post, etc. Wondering if Flow or Yo Teams is the best way to go.
The best approach for this would be to create a bot, which gets a name that can be '#' mentioned (e.g. if you bot is called MyBot, you could mention #MyBot in a Teams channel, and it will get notified). Once it receives the notification, the bot can do anything you need it to do.
If you have development skills available (yourself or someone on your team), have a look at the Teams Bot development documentation to get started. If not, Power Virtual Agents could suit your needs (it's like a "drag and drop" bot creator.

PayPal integration in Laravel site

I need to implement PayPal payment in my Laravel site. I was going for the server side integration, in order to save all the data, transactions and know what they actually bought. But turns out that [the older] server-side integration method [that I was looking at] is archived, and not really the preferred method anymore. Instead, they suggest using the smart buttons, with front end integration only.
Questions:
Is front end only safe? what prevents the user from messing with the JavaScript and editing the sum with whatever they want?
How do I know what they ordered if it is all front end?
What would I have to do if the payed sum does not correspond to the articles in the cart?
What should I be aware of with this system?
Smart Payment Buttons can be used with or without a server-side component.
Here is the front-end pattern that communicates with a server-side integration: https://developer.paypal.com/demo/checkout/#/pattern/server
Notice the fetches to two '/demo/...' placeholder endpoints, which need to be replaced with actual routes of yours. The first should create a v2/order via API and return the orderID. The second should capture that order after the payer approves it via Smart Payment Buttons.
The answers to your questions re: a serverless (client-side only) pattern are:
Nothing
Only what you program the JavaScript to tell you and which it actually successfully tells you, or what you read via email or in your PayPal account or app notifications
Refund the transaction
It's for people who don't want to do the work of implementing server-side routes and API calls.

Possibility of using specific Teams features in a custom web chat app

Our internal employees are all using Teams. I'm researching how feasible it would be to use certain features of Teams for a custom web chat app. The actual back and forth conversation would not take place in Teams...it would be something I would build, possibly using SignalR.
The custom web chat application should allow our customers the ability to:
See the Teams status of an employee (Online/Offline)
Click on the employee to enter a chat room. (This chat room would be something I would create, possibly using SignalR)
I was wondering if it is possible to do the following with Teams:
Get the Online/Offline status of a user in Teams and display that in a custom web app.
Send data to a specific Teams user from a web app. (For example: when a customer clicks on an employee in the custom web app to start a chat, send a link to the employee that would send them to the chat room.)
Are these two things possible using Teams?
Wow, this is an unusual scenario, had to think a bit about that! In terms of (1) I'm not sure about anything for that it Teams (it might exist, but not something I'm aware of), but perhaps the Microsoft Graph has a capability for that. This might help.
Regarding item 2, do the customers have Teams? If so, you can deep link directly into a chat with the specific employee. If not, are you wanting the end user to use, say, a bot on the web app, but the employee to be using Teams? If so, who would they be "Chatting" to? Would it be ok for the chat to be with a custom bot inside Teams? If so, you should look more at the concept of "Pro-active chat" in Teams (to initiate the new/latest conversation from the bot to the user). The only drawback is if they are "chatting" to multiple people at once this wouldn't work, because each customer's interaction would come in to the same chat window in the Bot.

How can we implement future or split payment using Braintree?

We are working on one website solution for which we require to implement future and/or split payment using the Braintree payment gateway. Is it any possible solution for the same? How can it be implemented?
We also tried to create sub-merchant for splitting a payment but we are getting the following error.
"Master merchant account ID is invalid.".
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Braintree does not offer a marketplace/split-payment function. You would only be able to apply for/use Braintree Direct and any funds would go directly to your bank account. There is no ability to have sub-merchants.
Similarly, PayPal has deprecated their original split-payment/pay-forwarding solution.
I suggest you go with PayPal Marketplace.
PayPal Marketplace is an entirely separate solution and you would need to speak with the PayPal team for specific details.

Paypal Pre-aapproved Payments with Laravel and handle recuring payments later

My Scenario
I am trying to allow user to add paypal payment methods on my webiste (in Laravel) so later he can use the added payment methods to make payment.
right now i am using the https://github.com/srmklive/laravel-paypal to handle the recurring payment methods but now we want user to add multiple paypal payment methods so when he want to purchase the subscription then he can be able to select the added payment method.
My Question
Is there a package or method for use with laravel that allows me to implement pre-approved payments and handle the recurring payment methods later?
Guarv, thanks for using my package. Pre-approved payments are part of PayPal AdaptivePayments API. My package supports it partially though. Hopefully we can work together to implement this in the package.
If you look at this link:
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/adaptive-payments/ht_ap-basicPreapproval-curl-etc/
It specifically says if you are using pre-approved payments, you should use the Adaptive Payments endpoint to process any future payments.
