Navigating through different section in CKEditor 5 - ckeditor

I want to move cursor through specific paragraph/section on clicking of a particular key.
how to to achieve this in CKEditor 5
editor.editing.view.document.on( 'keydown', ( evt, data ) => {
if ( data.keyCode == 39 ) {
//move cursor to next paragraph or element with some specific id
}
} );

In three.j,s what exactly does Object3D's traverseVisible() method do?

Does it:
Merely select objects within the camera's view frustum
Or does it actually do a z-depth type visibility check and only select those that are fully/partly visible on the screen - for a particular view
You can see what it does in the source code by clicking on the link at the bottom of the Object3D documentation.
traverseVisible( callback ) {
if ( this.visible === false ) return;
callback( this );
const children = this.children;
for ( let i = 0, l = children.length; i < l; i ++ ) {
children[ i ].traverseVisible( callback );
}
}
It only performs a check to see if visible === false, nothing more. There's no frustum or occlusion checks.

Copy cell from Interactive Grid Oracle Apex

I'm trying to copy a specific cell from an Interactive Grid (which is in Display Only mode, if that matters), and instead of copying the cell I'm in, I'm copying the whole row. I can't seem to find any way to copy just the cell.
APEX versiĆ³n: Application Express 19.1.0.00.15
Thank you beforehand.
Oracle Apex does not enable copy functionality to interactive report by purpose.
To enable it, you need to use even handler for copy event. This handler should be on the body or document. It can be achieved through Dynamic Action :
Event: Custom
Custom Event: copy
Selection Type: jQuery Selector
jQuery Selector: body
Then add one JavaScript true action with below code:
var text, i, selection, gridSel;
var event = this.browserEvent.originalEvent; // need the clipboard event
// we only care about copy from a grid cell ignore the rest
if ( !$(document.activeElement).hasClass("a-GV-cell") ) {
return;
}
var view = apex.region("emp").widget().interactiveGrid("getCurrentView"); //change "emp" to you IG static id
if ( view.internalIdentifier === "grid") {
text = "";
selection = window.getSelection();
gridSel = view.view$.grid("getSelection");
for (i = 0; i < gridSel.length; i++) {
selection.selectAllChildren(gridSel[i][0]);
text += selection.toString();
if (gridSel[i].length > 1) {
selection.selectAllChildren(gridSel[i][1]);
text += " \t" + selection.toString();
}
text += "";
}
selection.removeAllRanges();
event.clipboardData.setData('text/plain', text);
event.preventDefault();
}
The above will copy the current grid selection to the clipboard when the user types Ctrl+C while in a grid cell.
I wonder if the below javascript can be modified in order to trigger 'toggle' actions of interactive grid such 'selection-mode'.
apex.region( "[region static ID] " ).call( "getActions" ).lookup( "[action name]" );
Reference:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/application-express/20.1/aexjs/interactiveGrid.html
If someone is interested, I managed to find the solution.
Go on Interactive Grid's attributes--> JavaScript Initialization Code
and add the following code that creates a button that copies the selected cell.
function(config) {
let $ = apex.jQuery,
toolbarData = $.apex.interactiveGrid.copyDefaultToolbar(),
toolbarGroup3 = toolbarData.toolbarFind("actions3");
toolbarGroup3.controls.push({type: "BUTTON",
label: "Copy cell",
icon: "fa fa-copy is-blue",
iconBeforeLabel: true,
iconOnly: false,
disabled: false,
action: "custom-event" // instead of specific action eg "selection-copy", create a custom event
});
config.initActions = function( actions ) {
actions.add( {
name: "custom-event",
action: function(event, focusElement) {
actions.lookup('selection-mode').set(false); // select cell instead of the whole row
apex.region( "users_id" ).widget().interactiveGrid( "getActions" ).invoke( "selection-copy" ); // copy the selection
actions.lookup('selection-mode').set(true); // select again the whole row (important in case of master-detail grids)
}
} );
}
config.toolbarData = toolbarData;
return config;
}

How to programmatically move a tab to another window in a firefox Addon-SDK extension?

While it looks like you can change the order of a tab within a window by updating the tab .index property, it doesn't look like the tabs api directly supports the move of a tab to another window.
Am I missing something? Is there a viable workaround?
It is possible through the low level module window/utils. The example below duplicates the active tab across every open window
const { getMostRecentBrowserWindow, windows: getWindows } = require("sdk/window/utils");
const { ActionButton } = require("sdk/ui/button/action");
var button = ActionButton({
id: "duplicatetab-button",
label: "Duplicate tab",
icon: "data:image/png;base64,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",
onClick: function() {
var xulwindows = getWindows("navigator:browser");
var xulactivewindow = getMostRecentBrowserWindow();
var xulactivetab = xulactivewindow.gBrowser.selectedTab;
xulwindows.forEach(function(win){
if(win === xulactivewindow)
return;
var duplicatedtab = win.gBrowser.duplicateTab(xulactivetab);
win.gBrowser.moveTabTo(duplicatedtab, 0); // the second argument is the index
});
}
});
#paa's solution is nice but it doesn't move a tab. His is duplicating the tab. So flash movies will not retain their position etc. And its not a move its a duplicatio, like he explained.
I did a lot of research was real fun. The way they move tabs in Firefox is via docShell swapping. This will accomplish what you want. It's written for bootstrap though so needs touch up for addon sdk.
Pass second argument as string of tabbed or non-tabbed if you want to move it to a new window. Else pass second argument an existing window and it will be moved there. can copy paste and run this code from sratchpad.
this uses the gBrowser.swapBrowsersAndCloseOther function
function moveTabToWin(aTab, tDOMWin) {
//tDOMWin means target DOMWindow means the window you want the tab in
//if tDOMWin == 'tabbed' or == 'non-tabbed' it opens in a new window
//if aTopContWin is the last in its window, then its window is closed
if (tDOMWin == 'tabbed' || tDOMWin == 'non-tabbed') {
var sa = Cc["#mozilla.org/supports-array;1"].createInstance(Ci.nsISupportsArray);
var wuri = Cc["#mozilla.org/supports-string;1"].createInstance(Ci.nsISupportsString);
wuri.data = 'about:blank';
sa.AppendElement(wuri);
let features = "chrome,dialog=no";
if (tDOMWin == 'tabbed') {
features += ',all';
}
var sDOMWin = aTab.ownerGlobal; //source DOMWindow
if (PrivateBrowsingUtils.permanentPrivateBrowsing || PrivateBrowsingUtils.isWindowPrivate(sDOMWin)) {
features += ",private";
} else {
features += ",non-private";
}
var XULWindow = Services.ww.openWindow(null, 'chrome://browser/content/browser.xul', null, features, sa);
XULWindow.addEventListener('load', function() {
var DOMWindow = XULWindow.QueryInterface(Ci.nsIInterfaceRequestor).getInterface(Ci.nsIDOMWindowInternal || Ci.nsIDOMWindow);
DOMWindow.gBrowser.selectedTab.linkedBrowser.webNavigation.stop(Ci.nsIWebNavigation.STOP_ALL);
DOMWindow.gBrowser.swapBrowsersAndCloseOther(DOMWindow.gBrowser.selectedTab, aTab);
//DOMWindow.gBrowser.selectedTab = newTab;
}, false);
} else if (tDOMWin) {
//existing dom window
var newTab = tDOMWin.gBrowser.addTab('about:blank');
newTab.linkedBrowser.webNavigation.stop(Ci.nsIWebNavigation.STOP_ALL);
tDOMWin.gBrowser.swapBrowsersAndCloseOther(newTab, aTab);
tDOMWin.gBrowser.selectedTab = newTab;
}
}
moveTabToWin(gBrowser.selectedTab, 'tabbed');
I'v got inspired by #Noitidart's answer and came up with my solution.
I'm adding setWindow(window, index) method to Tab's prototype, so that any SDK tab can be moved to another window from anywhere in the addon with a simple call like this:
browserWindows[0].activeTab.setWindow(browserWindows.activeWindow, 0);
This will move active tab of window 0 to the beginning of active window.
And here is the method:
Update:
I've put together a module to do exactly this: jetpack-tab-setwindow
Old solution (breaks in FF43)
var Tab = require("sdk/tabs/tab").Tab;
Tab.prototype.setWindow = function (window, index) {
var tab = this;
var oldWindow = tab.window;
if ( oldWindow !== window ) {
// We have to use lower-level API here
var Ci = require('chrome').Ci;
var viewFor = require("sdk/view/core").viewFor;
var aTab = viewFor(tab);
var aWin = viewFor(window);
var gBrowser = aWin.gBrowser;
// Get tab properties
var isSelected = oldWindow.activeTab == tab;
var isPinned = aTab.pinned;
// Log for debugging:
var tabId = tab.id;
console.log('setWindow', {index, isSelected, isPinned, tab, tabId});
// Create a placeholder-tab on destination windows
var newTab = gBrowser.addTab('about:newtab');
newTab.linkedBrowser.webNavigation.stop(Ci.nsIWebNavigation.STOP_ALL); // we don't need this tab anyways
// If index specified, move placeholder-tab to desired index
if ( index != undefined ) {
var length = gBrowser.tabContainer.childElementCount;
if ( index < 0 ) index = length - index;
if( 0 <= index && index < length ) {
gBrowser.moveTabTo(newTab, index);
}
}
// Copy tab properties to placeholder-tab
if ( isPinned ) {
gBrowser.pinTab(newTab);
}
// For some reason this doesn't seem to work :-(
if ( isSelected ) {
gBrowser.selectedTab = newTab;
}
// Swap tabs and remove placeholder-tab
gBrowser.swapBrowsersAndCloseOther(newTab, aTab);
}
};

SlickGrid - Editable Grid with Controls Visible by default

The SlickGrid supports editors for a cell that can be configured to be displayed on click or double click. However I don't see an option where, the editor is VISIBLE by default for all cells without having to click/double click on the cell.
Is it possible to support editors in slick grid where the editors are
"init" by default for all cells?
Is there a known workaround?
Thank you.
I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but I thought I'd add the code below in case anyone finds it useful. It's a semi-workaround and it at least lets the user navigate around the grid and start typing in the cell to edit, without having to "initialise" the edit first by pressing Enter or double-clicking the cell; a bit like editing an MS Excel sheet.
myGrid.onKeyDown.subscribe(function (e, args) {
var keyCode = $.ui.keyCode,
col,
activeCell = this.getActiveCell();
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
// Allow instant editing like MS Excel (without presisng enter first
// to go into edit mode)
if (activeCell) {
col = activeCell.cell;
// Only for editable fields and not if edit is already in progress
if (this.getColumns()[col].editor && !this.getCellEditor()) {
// Ignore keys that should not activate edit mode
if ($.inArray(e.keyCode, [keyCode.LEFT, keyCode.RIGHT, keyCode.UP,
keyCode.DOWN, keyCode.PAGE_UP, keyCode.PAGE_DOWN,
keyCode.SHIFT, keyCode.CONTROL, keyCode.CAPS_LOCK,
keyCode.HOME, keyCode.END, keyCode.INSERT,
keyCode.TAB, keyCode.ENTER]) === -1) {
this.editActiveCell();
}
}
}
}
No. The grid is designed to have one cell editable at a time.
Below is what I ended up with (improved version njr101's answer) to make this work. I've added a check for CTRL key so it doesn't break the copy paste plugin I use on the grid.
function (e) {
var keyCode = $.ui.keyCode,
col,
activeCell = this.getActiveCell(),
activeCellNode = this.getActiveCellNode();
var isInEditMode = $(activeCellNode).hasClass("editable");
if (activeCell && !isInEditMode) {
col = activeCell.cell;
if (this.getColumns()[col].editor && !e.ctrlKey) {
if ($.inArray(e.keyCode, [keyCode.LEFT, keyCode.RIGHT, keyCode.UP,
keyCode.DOWN, keyCode.PAGE_UP, keyCode.PAGE_DOWN,
keyCode.SHIFT, keyCode.CONTROL, keyCode.CAPS_LOCK,
keyCode.HOME, keyCode.END, keyCode.INSERT,
keyCode.TAB, keyCode.ENTER]) === -1) {
this.editActiveCell();
}
}
}
};
and dont forget to subscribe:
slickGrid.onKeyDown.subscribe();
Update to use editor define in row metadata and not in column definition.
In my case, one row of two contains in cell 1 text editor and one row of two contains nothing.
grid.onKeyDown.subscribe( function ( e, args ) {
var keyCode = $.ui.keyCode;
var activeCell = this.getActiveCell();
if( activeCell ) {
// get metadata
var columnDefinition = grid.getColumns()[ activeCell.cell ];
var rowMetadata = dataView.getItemMetadata && dataView.getItemMetadata( activeCell.row );
var rowColMetadata = rowMetadata && rowMetadata.columns;
rowColMetadata = rowColMetadata && ( rowColMetadata[ columnDefinition.id ] || rowColMetadata[ activeCell.cell ] );
if ( rowColMetadata && rowColMetadata.editor && !this.getCellEditor() ) {
if( $.inArray( e.keyCode, [keyCode.LEFT, keyCode.RIGHT, keyCode.UP, keyCode.DOWN, keyCode.PAGE_UP, keyCode.PAGE_DOWN,
keyCode.SHIFT, keyCode.CONTROL, keyCode.CAPS_LOCK, keyCode.HOME, keyCode.END, keyCode.INSERT,
keyCode.TAB, keyCode.ENTER]) === -1 ) {
this.editActiveCell();
}
}
}
});

select figure element in ckeditor - capture click on figure element (or any children)

i'm looking for a way to capture and selection a figure element (or any of its children)
ideally, i would like this to bypass the selections of imgs (including objectResizing on imgs) when they are within a figure tag.
i've played around with capturing the events using the currentInstance event. not sure if this is the best approach or whether there is another event. Obviously, i need some kind of event bubbling to know whether the event target (ie. the img) is within a figure element.
i have a sense of how to do this in javascript/jquery, but i'm looking for the proper ckeditor approach, since this is done in ckeditor with imgs and tables.
i have found one possible solution, which enables me to select the figure element, whether i click on one of its children or the figure itself. however, a double click triggers other events associated with the children, so i need to find a way to cancel those other events in this case
editor.on( 'selectionChange', function( evt )
{
if ( editor.readOnly )
return;
/*
* only select our figure elements
*/
var element = evt.data.path.lastElement && evt.data.path.lastElement.getAscendant( 'figure', true );
if ( element && element.getName() == 'figure' && element.getAttribute( 'data-media-id' ) && element.getChildCount() ) {
editor.getSelection().selectElement(element);
}
});
editor.on( 'doubleclick', function( evt )
{
var element = evt.data.element.getAscendant( 'figure', true );
if ( !element.isReadOnly() )
{
if ( element.is( 'figure' ) || element.getParent().is( 'figure' ) )
{
editor.getSelection().selectElement( element );
editor.execCommand('imagemanager', element);
}
}
});
turns out, i just need to pretend to open a dialog. my issue with the doubleclick is that i am not using ckeditor's dialogs (because i am opening a ajax window and building it myself). so this prevents other windows from opening
editor.on( 'doubleclick', function( evt )
{
var element = evt.data.element.getAscendant( 'figure', true );
if ( !element.isReadOnly() )
{
if ( element.is( 'figure' ) || element.getParent().is( 'figure' ) )
{
editor.getSelection().selectElement( element );
editor.execCommand('imagemanager', element);
// :HACK: pretend to open a dialog, cancels other dialogs from opening
evt.data.dialog = '';
}
}
});
