"~" symbol created automatically after running project with service worker - model-view-controller

My project is a simple login page. I am using asp.net core with MVC.
Everything was working well and I wanted to add service worker to my project. I followed the known steps. Add a manifest.json file in wwwroot, fill it correctly and add this function services.AddProgressiveWebApp(); after services.AddMvc().SetCompatibilityVersion(CompatibilityVersion.Version_2_1);.
When others do these steps, service worker works properly. When I run it (IIS Express), service worker produces an error: "Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to register a ServiceWorker: A bad HTTP response code (404) was received when fetching the script."
Then I realized this thing: https://localhost:44331/~/serviceworker.
The ~ symbol is created automatically and I am not knowing how to remove it.
The following https://localhost:44331/serviceworker works.
Help?

It is solved.
I updated the version from v1.0.42 to v.1.0.33 and it worked.
v1.0.42 has a bug.

Getting Hydration Failed errors in shopify when building the first app

I am learning how to code an Shopify app. I wanted to build first app and I started following this tutorial : https://shopify.dev/apps/getting-started/create
I used npm init #Shopify/app#latest to create first app, then moved to that directory using cd .\first-app\ then I used npm run dev App looks and works fine with UI but on console I am getting lots of errors. Here are few of them.
Hydration failed because the initial UI does not match what was rendered on the server.
There was an error while hydrating. Because the error happened outside of a Suspense boundary, the entire root will switch to client rendering.

Uncaught (in promise) Error: Error completing request. A network failure may have prevented the request from completing. Error: TypeError: Failed to fetch
And few more, I did set up the ngrok tunnel and it is working fine.
I might be missing something, any help or pointing me to right direction is appriciated

Azure App Service recently started throwing an error: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore, Version=2.1.4.0

I didn't change anything, and my Azure App Service started throwing the error:
An error occurred while starting the application.
FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly'Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore, Version=2.1.4.0 ...
Which seemed odd, so I tried adding Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore v2.1.4 with Nuget, and from that i just get a white error screen with
This page isn’t working
[WEBSITE] is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
With no other errors.
This all works perfectly fine locally (as always...) - I am not sure where to go from here? Any ideas? Thank you.
The error is because of the different versions between packages.
Please use this command in PM.
Install-Package Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.CodeGeneration.Design -Version 2.0.3

Service worker Failed to load resource: net::ERR_UNSAFE_REDIRECT

would you please tell me what i did wrong with my service worker installation, i have those errors appear in chrome console (see the image-1).
The script resource is behind a redirect, which is disallowed. service-worker.js:1
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_UNSAFE_REDIRECT https://harampress.com/post/45/service-worker.js
i use Laravel framework in backend if that could help
just to know that my service-worker.js is in the root of the website, works fine on home page no errors on chrome console, but the moment i try to navigate to a post for example, those two errors appears (see image-2).
knowing that i use sw-precache and sw-toolbox, i generate the service worker useing sw-precache with gulp.

see the solutions here on github discussion
the message from the discussion in github that actually answered to my problem :
What #wanderview means is that when you do
navigator.serviceWorker.register('/sw.js')
The actual requesting URL is the sw.js located in the root
but when you do
navigator.serviceWorker.register('sw.js')
This is actually a Relative URL so what you actually request might be /post/blah/sw.js and your server might treat it as 404 and do some redirect.

Login failed for user 'sa' when the app is run from VS 2015

I have a console application which hosts two WebApi applications using OWIN Self Host approach. One of the apps uses EF6 with Code First. When I run the executable from the bin folder and make a request to the WebApi, everything works like it should - if the database is already created it just returns the results, otherwise it creates the db first. But if I start the console app from Visual Studio (with debugging), I receive the following error:
Additional information: Cannot open database "{db name}" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'sa'.
Anyone has any ideas why this happens?
EDIT: Problem is not related to the self hosted apps. I referenced the dbcontext directly in the console app and the same issue happens. I also tried Integrated Security and it still fails with "Login failed for user '{DOMAIN\USERNAME}'."
EDIT 2: I fixed my problem by doing deleting the .suo file. That helped me find these two questions mentioning the same solution:
Login failed for user "xxx" Failed to open the explicitly specified database solution
EF 4.1 code first causes weird (login) runtime errors
Can anyone say the reason why the .suo file causes this?

My website is throwing "PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Lang::lang()"

I created a website using CodeIgniter Framework 2.1.0 that was originally working well. Yesterday, I integrated this i18n code into the site for multi-language support.
Now, when I upload my site to cpanel and open it, I get this error in my log file:
[21-Nov-2011 10:19:04] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method CI_Lang::lang() in XXXX
However, the website is working well on my localhost server (xampp for Windows). What's wrong?
See the thread attached to the library: http://web.archive.org/web/20120112092127/http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/179036. In the first post is attached a modified library that claims to alleviate the buggyness of the original.
There is also a post on the first page there referencing an error similar to yours:
After copying the files as described in the article I get the
following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method
CI_Lang::CI_Lang() in
/www/websites/audio-machinery/application/core/MY_Lang.php on line 32
Though he seems to be calling CI_Lang, not Lang. His solution appears to have been to use the code attached to the forum thread.
Also, cpanel is a control panel for hosting, not a hosting provider. But your hosting provider may be causing issues (e.g. if using older versions of PHP which do not work with newer version of CI. Often hosting providers will give you the ability to choose which version of PHP you are using--usually found in cPanel).
have you uploaded ALL the new files to your live server? that error implies that the code is not found or available to the script.
I came accross the same problem.... it was working fine on localhost but when loaded on live server it gives me undefined error... the problem appears becuase I created file with name My_Lang.php and My_Config.php as on live server it is case sensitive.... so I changed it to MY_Config.php and MY_Lang.php .... it works fine now.... Hope it will work for you too
