I have a problem with events and content grouping in Google Analytics.
I successfully managed to get my website pages in different groups based on page typology. (ex. 'Home', 'Listing', 'Product' ...)
Unfortunately I cannot see events grouped by page typology. If I choose "Page typology (Content group)" as secondary dimension I get "not set" for all my events.
event 1 || (not set) || 40
event 2 || (not set) || 25
If I choose Page typology (Landing page content group)" it works, but I get the groups based on the first page a user visit in my website and not based on the page which fire the event.
event 1 || 'Home' || 30 // home group as landing page
event 1 || 'Listing' || 10
event 2 || 'Home' || 15
event 2 || 'Listing' || 10
How can I solve?
You can go to the Events > Pages reports to see if a particular page is associated to an event. You can then use content grouping for that page.

I am currently working with the Apex Office Print it would be nice if you could help me with two points.
I am creating a template with a lot of fields, and around 50% of
these fields are optional, so they are often only (null) in my
database. Can I do something so that the fields with no value are not
shown?
My second question would be the work with the print function and
checkboxes. How do I integrate the item APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01 so
that I only print the content of a selected checkbox ? It is not
really working in the PL/SQL section.

The {tag} will just be removed when it's empty. In case you want to make some blocks disappear you can wrap that in a condition,
for example:
{#tags=null} {product_name}: {product_description} {/tags=null} {#tags!=null} {product_name}: {tags} {/tags!=null}
or if you have a value:
{#checked=="Yes"}☒Yes ☐No{/checked=="Yes"}{#checked!="Yes"} ☐Yes ☒No {/checked!="Yes"}

Are you running the AOP Process type plugin or the Dynamic Action plugin?
For example we use it for ourself when selecting invoices and printing them.
We have a checkbox in an IR:
apex_item.checkbox2(
p_idx => 1,
p_value => id,
p_attributes => 'class="invoice_id"',
p_checked_values => :P39_INVOICE_ID_LIST,
p_checked_values_delimiter => ',') as chk,
And then we have a Dynamic Action on change that sets an hidden item (P39_INVOICE_ID_LIST) on the page:
var
//Checkbox that was changed
$checkBox = $(this.triggeringElement),
//DOM object for APEX Item that holds list.
apexItemIDList = apex.item(this.affectedElements.get(0)),
//Convert comma list into an array or blank array
//Note: Not sure about the "?" syntax see: http://www.talkapex.com/2009/07/javascript-if-else.html
ids = apexItemIDList.getValue().length === 0 ? [] : apexItemIDList.getValue().split(','),
//Index of current ID. If it's not in array, value will be -1
idIndex = ids.indexOf($checkBox.val())
;
//If box is checked and it doesn't already exist in list
if ($checkBox.is(':checked') && idIndex < 0) {
ids.push($checkBox.val());
}
//If box is unchecked and it exists in list
else if (!$checkBox.is(':checked') && idIndex >= 0){
ids.splice(idIndex, 1);
}
//Convert array back to comma delimited list
apexItemIDList.setValue(ids.join(','));
In our query in the AOP DA we have:
where i.id in (select regexp_substr(:P39_INVOICE_ID_LIST,'[^,]+', 1, level) invoice_id
from dual
connect by regexp_substr(:P39_INVOICE_ID_LIST, '[^,]+', 1, level) is not null)
and we make sure the P39_INVOICE_ID_LIST is set in session state by specifying the Affected Elements of the AOP plugin call.
If you setup an example of what you want to do on apex.oracle.com I'm happy to build you the example there. In AOP 4.0 we will also include an example with checkboxes.
Hope that helps,
Dimitri
I'm aware of the setting in the admin panel for the default number of products to show on the category list pages. This appears to be a global setting for the whole store. I'm looking for a way to set this on a per category basis (e.g. have most categories default to 25 products per page, but one specific category default to showing all products on the first page). Ideally this would be done in admin or in a .phtml file if possible. How can I set the default products per page for a specific category?
Take a look in
design/package/theme/catalog/product/list/toolbar.phtml
The items per page select drop down is generated by a for loop around:
$this->getAvailableLimit()
The block for the toolbar has the following method on it:
public function getLimitUrl($limit)
{
return $this->getPagerUrl(array(
$this->getLimitVarName() => $limit,
$this->getPageVarName() => null
));
}
The trick is to do one of the two following:
1) leverage magento to build the proper url when it is injected in any link directing to the category you want to be in view all mode.
2) on the /catalog/product/list/toolbar.phtml block check the current category, if the current category is the desired category execute the following code:
if( strtoupper($this->getLimitVarName()) != "ALL" )
{
$viewAllUrl = $this->getLimitUrl('All');
$this->_redirectUrl( $viewAllUrl );
}
At Admin Panel
Go to -> CMS -> Pages -> Home Page
Click on "Content" tab on LEFT
Click on "Show/Hide Editor" Button at RIGHT
Copy - Paste This Code there :
{{block type="catalog/product_list" category_id="2" template="catalog/product/list.phtml"}}
Give Category ID of your desired Category
To check Category_id of any category Go to : Catalog Menu -> Manage Catagories
Click on category, at right side's TITLE somewhat like will be displayed :
"CATEGORY_NAME ( ID : 5 )"

I am developing one custom search module in joomla. so I am using joomla's in-built database connection and function.
Problem is that I want to use pagination class in this module but don't know any hint.
Please help me on this.
Thanks.
Step 1: Get the total number of items in your database
ex: select count(*) from #__some_table where ....
Step 2: Import joomla pagination and create pagination object
jimport('joomla.html.pagination');
$pagination = new JPagination($total, $limitstart, $limit);
where
$total = total number of items that you count in step 1
$limit = total number of items you want to display on a page
$limitstart = index of the first item in the page. For example if you have 20 items per page, 0 is start index for 1 page, 20 is start index for second and so on.
Step 3: Show pagination on your page
echo $pagination->getPagesLinks();
echo $pagination->getPagesCounter();
My VirtueMart shop.browse page has the typical columns of SKU, Name, Price, and "Update" (which contains the Add to Cart button). I would like to add a Quantity column between Price and Update so that a buyer can choose a quantity prior to pressing the "Add to Cart" button.
Though I don't know HOW to do this, I think I know WHERE to do it:
/public_html/components/com_virtuemart/themes/default/templates/browse/includes/browse_listtable.tpl.php
Lines 67-72 of that file tell the program how to build the table, but what I DON'T know how to do is modify the code source to tell it to include quantity as an element for the table. Here's the code:
// Loop through each row and build the table
foreach($data as $key => $value) {
$table->addRow( $data[$key], 'class="sectiontableentry'.$i.'"', 'td', true );
$i = $i == 1 ? 2 : 1;
}
Which include file is actually being called in this foreach loop, and what code would I add to reference quantity data?
You should not modify your core code. If you just need to put quantity box inside your browse template use variable $form_addtocart
It will give you quantity box and add to cart button.
All variables for browse page and for flypage template you can find here:
http://virtuemart.net/documentation/Developer_Manual/Modifying_the_Layout.html
If this is not what you are trying to get, please be more specific, or show your web page.
I have a paginator that shows the following for page 1
records 1 through 10
10 being the number of records per page. Thing is for new users they might have under 10 records so showing 10 as the # per page doesn't work
How can I do something like this
if total_record_count is < 10, show total_record_count ELSE show 10 (records per page)
Thanks
Well there's always Enumerable#min:
<%= [posts.count, 10].min %>
