This question might look like duplicate-ish but I was unable to find the exact issue anywhere with my best searching effort.
Everything was working fine till yesterday. Today I cannot get vagrant up --provision to work. The error I am getting is:
The box 'bento/ubuntu-16.04' could not be found or could not be
accessed in the remote catalog. If this is a private box on
HashiCorp's Atlas, please verify you're logged in via vagrant login.
Also, please double-check the name. The expanded URL and error message
are shown below:
URL: ["https://atlas.hashicorp.com/bento/ubuntu-16.04"] Error: The
requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
I tried $ vagrant login. When I went to https://atlas.hashicorp.com, it only gives me the option to login, but I didn't see a way to sign up!
And surpringly https://hasicorp.com/ says its for sale!!
Please suggest how I can get rid of it!
https://hasicorp.com/ is for sale but as long as https://www.hashicorp.com is working, I think you'll be fine.
Also the box bento/ubuntu-16.04 is available for download on the vagrant cloud at https://app.vagrantup.com/bento/boxes/ubuntu-16.04
Make sure you're using an up-to-date version of vagrant
Make sure the metadata_url file for this box points to vagrantup.com
check ~/.vagrant.d/boxes/<your_box>/metadata_url and edit them to use vagrantup.com

i solved it. these errors was from apps version. i decreased app version to
virtual box 5.1.26 from 5.2.8
vagrant 2.0.0 from 2.0.2
and now every thing is ok
Did you try too reinstal it?
Check your system if there is not a vboxheadless proces going on. Turn it off and try again

I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find a single answer to satisfy my issue. I have a few applications on Mac (10.9.2) that no longer open via their icons. I can open a Terminal window and type 'open /Applications/[app_name]' and they work fine but attempting to open via the LaunchPad fails. IntelliJ is the most recent application that is causing me headaches. When I click on the icon I receive the following error in the system log:
com.apple.launchd.peruser.503[306] (com.jetbrains.intellij.ce.76944[5866]): Exited with code: 1
I have checked my UID and I am 503 so I should be able to open it. This only happens with certain applications though. Network Connect (Juniper Networks) is another one that has recently started to cause issues:
com.apple.launchd.peruser.503[306] (net.juniper.NetworkConnect.30128[6000]): Exited with code: 1
Any help in understanding what is going on would be greatly appreciated!!
I love how I keep being the one to answer my own question but anyways, I found the solution. I ended up reverting the LaunchPad back to its default settings by using the following command:
rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db; killall Dock
Once the dock database was rebuilt everything worked as expected. Hopefully this helps other out there who have this problem.

My windows server crashes every few days with this error:
A critical system process, C:\Windows\system32\lsass.exe, failed with
status code 255. The machine must now be restarted.
the forums in MSDN are not very clear regarding how to handle this issue.
I run always a administrator, through RDP.
any help will be much appreciated.
Here's what I'd tried if I were you, in that order:
Go to device manager and select your NIC card. Select properties, then power management. De-select "allow computer to turn off this device to save power". Reboot and try to reproduce.
Open this page, check your OS version, check your event log for the event “Source: LsaSrv Event ID: 5000”, if everything matches, install the supplied hotfix. Reboot and try to reproduce.
Same with this hotfix — check OS version, check your event log, apply the hotfix if it fits.
Set DefaultEncryptionType registry value as specified here. However please keep in mind that this one is risky, esp. if the server is a DC. Make sure you have a fresh backup, and physical access to the server.

I tried logging into a FTPS server, but when trying to get a directory list, I get this error:
Response: 150 Opening data channel for directory list.
Response: 425 Can't open data connection.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing
Also, I don't see the option to use "Require explicit FTP over SSL". So I used "Require explicit FTP over TLS" instead.
I am trying to log in to this server:
Address ftp.secureftp-test.com
Login: test
Password: test
Any ideas? Thanks.
Here are the protocols Filezilla shows:
No SSL http://www.twse2.com/noSSL.png
I'm running FileZilla 3.5.3 on Windows 7 SP1 x64 and it's working fine here.
It's also mentioned in the FileZilla features that it should work. If you're running OS X/Linux I'd make sure OpenSSL is installed and up to date.
check if Firewall is intercepting in between the connection.
once i had the same issue.

I think this is more a Mac networking configuration issue than anything else, but am not sure.
I have Subversion set up on my Windows Home Server machine (similar to this: http://www.hanselman.com/blog/RunningASubversionServerOffYourWindowsHomeServer.aspx). This setup has been working for me for months, using Windows clients.
Now I'm trying to add a Mac client, and it can't resolve the network name of my WHS server. If I open a terminal window on the mac, and attempt to ping or use nslookup, I get an error that it can't find the server. On the PC side, I can ping, but nslookup doesn't resolve the name, so I'm assuming that PC's ping is resolving the name as a NetBios name.
I've found a number of articles online that explain how to set up default suffixes based on Windows domains, but the Windows Home Server doesn't establish a domain by default. (It's in workgroup mode.)
Anyone have any suggestions or pointers?
The quick and easy way to get this working would be to add an entry to your host file on the MAC. You can find the file in /etc/hosts
Edit the file and add an entry at the end as follows:
<ip address> <hostname>
example:
69.59.196.211 www.stackoverflow.com
That is the way that I would go, and they mention using the host file in the article you posted. More info on editing the hostfile of different machines can be found here:
